Publication number: 20070131113Abstract: Methods and devices for transporting, cleaning or storing materials such as alternative fuels like shelled corn or wood pellets. Material is transferred to a first container through a transfer conduit as a result of negative pressure created by a vacuum. Small, lighter impurities such as corn dust, red-eyes, bees-wings and the like are removed from the material by the vacuum as the material enters the first container. The material then passes from the first container to a second container. The material is then transferred through the second container by way of a paddlewheel which is driven by a motor. As the material exits the second container it passes through a screen which prevents large, heavier impurities such as stones, husks and the like from passing. The cleaned material then enters either a storage container or a holding compartment where it can be stored or consumed as fuel.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2006Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: Todd Gadbury, Douglas Royer

Publication number: 20070131116Abstract: An antiallergen filter of the present invention is characterized in that a water-insoluble high-molecular weight anti-allergenic agent having a phenolic hydroxyl group and a moisture-absorbing material are carried on a filter. Because of using the water-insoluble high-molecular weight substance as an anti-allergenic agent, the antiallergen filter of the present invention is free from a problem that the anti-allergenic agent flows and drops or is detached from the filter due to moisture in the atmosphere, etc. even in a highly humid environment or the like. Further, since the moisture-absorbing material is carried on the filter, moisture that the anti-allergenic agent requires for adsorbing and capturing an allergen and inactivating its allergic activity can be effectively retained on the filter. Thus, the antiallergen filter of the present invention can effectively exert its anti-allergenic effect over a prolonged period of time.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 26, 2004Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: Jun Inagaki, Ryousuke Suga, Takahiro Nakajima, Mitsuhito Teramoto, Taro Suzuki

Publication number: 20070131157Abstract: An alarm Abstract is provided for a bathtub and includes a method for attaching to a wall of the bathtub, one being a suction cup. A float assembly is supported by the alarm housing to engage the alarm system. To use the alarm apparatus of the invention in a bathtub, one of the three attachment methods is used to secure the housing to the wall of the bathtub. The float is adjusted to the desired height. Water is added to the bathtub, which turns a waterwheel, and when the water level lifts the float assembly a sufficient amount, the alarm system is activated and sounds a warning alarm. The alarm system includes a waterwheel that's is spinning, a thin flat plastic bar that is attached to the float. The float raises the thin plastic bar into the waterwheel thus making a loud clicking sound.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2005Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventor: John Shaughnessy

Publication number: 20070131158Abstract: The method for manufacturing a single crystal semiconductor achieves an object to reduce the impurity concentration nonuniformity within a semiconductor wafer plane and thus to improve the wafer planarity by introducing an impurity into the single crystal semiconductor more uniformly during the pulling of the single crystal semiconductor from a melt. In the course of pulling the single crystal semiconductor (6), the rotating velocity (?2) of the single crystal semiconductor (6) being pulled is adjusted to a predetermined value or higher, and a magnetic field having a strength in a predetermined range is applied to the melt (5). Particularly, the crystal peripheral velocity is adjusted to 0.126 m/sec or higher, and M/V1/3 is adjusted to 35.5?M/V1/3?61.3. More desirably, the crystal peripheral velocity is adjusted to 0.141 m/sec or higher, and M/V1/3 is adjusted to 40.3?M/V1/3?56.4.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2005Publication date: June 14, 2007Applicant: KOMATSU DENSHI KINZOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Masafumi Ura, Hidetoshi Kurogi, Toshiharu Yubitani, Noboru Furuichi

Publication number: 20070131159Abstract: A method for growing an epitaxial layer includes obtaining a semiconductor substrate having a plurality of insulating and conductive surfaces, adsorbing a first source gas into the plurality of conductive surfaces to grow a first epitaxial layer thereon, such that the first epitaxial layer has lateral portions overhanging the insulating surfaces, etching the first epitaxial layer to form an etched epitaxial layer, such that the etched epitaxial layer has curved surfaces, and supplying a second source gas to trigger additional epitaxial growth in the etched epitaxial layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2006Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: Young-Pil Kim, Jin Kim, Min-Gu Kang, Yu-Gyun Shin, Jong-Wook Lee

Publication number: 20070131161Abstract: For the first time, an aluminum antimonide (AlSb) single crystal substrate is utilized to lattice-match to overlying semiconductor layers. The AlSb substrate establishes a new design and fabrication approach to construct high-speed, low-power electronic devices while establishing inter-device isolation. Such lattice matching between the substrate and overlying semiconductor layers minimizes the formation of defects, such as threaded dislocations, which can decrease the production yield and operational life-time of 6.1-? family heterostructure devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 28, 2004Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: John Sherohman, Arthur Coombs, Jick Yee, Kuang Wu
