Patent number: 7237953Abstract: The reclosable bag has a gusset side structure so that the bag can be self-supporting on its bottom surface. The reclosable structure can be an internal structure or an external structure. As an external structure the front and rear walls extend above the reclosable seal and are bonded together above the reclosable seal. This extended wall structure is removed to remove these tamper evident seal. If within the bag the tamper evident seal is composed of a loop of film extending downward from each side of the reclosable seal to seal the contents of the bag. This loop must be broken to open the bag. The preferred reclosable seal is a zipper with bonded stays or each end to maintain the zipper on the bag. Patent number: 7237955Abstract: A high-accuracy, long-life hydrodynamic bearing that does not cause oil film breakage in bearing clearances and a disc rotation apparatus using the bearing is disclosed. Oil film breakage is avoided as negative pressure is prevented from generating between the shaft and sleeve of the hydrodynamic bearing. Herringbone shaped dynamic pressure generating grooves, located on the thrust bearing section and the radial bearing section of the hydrodynamic bearing, are oil filled and have optimum shapes. The optimum shapes prevent the generation negative pressure and thus prevents the coagulation of air bubbles that can cause oil film breakage. The disc rotation apparatus, that holds a reproduction/recording disc, is concentrically secured to the hydrodynamic bearing and rotated. The disc is put into contact with magnetic or optical heads while rotating in the disc rotation apparatus. Both the hydrodynamic bearing and the disc rotation apparatus experience high reliability.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2003Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takafumi Asada, Hiroaki Saito, Keigo Kusaka, Daisuke Itou

Patent number: 7237989Abstract: A milling method is for producing milled structural components of materials that are difficult to machine by chip-cutting. A milling tool with a tool radius is rotationally driven about an axis of the milling tool to ensure a central rotation thereof, whereby a reference point of the milling tool preferably lying on the axis is moved on several curved paths, whereby the paths preferably comprise different curvatures, and whereby the milling tool is moved on the paths with a radial miller feed relative to the material. The curvature at each path point of each path is determined in such a manner that an optimized or maximized circumferential contact of the milling tool is ensured for each path point.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2004Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Assignee: MTU Aero Engines GmbHInventor: Arndt Glaesser

Patent number: 7237990Abstract: A surgical tool system with a handpiece and a cutting accessory that has inner and outer hubs. The handpiece has a spring biased lock ring that abuts a complementary stop member integral with the accessory outer hub to hold the accessory to the handpiece. An RFID chip is disposed against an inner wall of the accessory outer hub. An elastomeric seal pressed against the inner wall of the accessory outer hub provides environmental protection for the RFID chip. The seal has a rib that extends around the outer perimeter of the proximal end of the outer hub so as to form a seal between the accessory and an adjacent inner wall of the handpiece. Stop tabs extend inwardly from the seal to prevent the drive hub disposed inside the outer hub from falling out.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2002Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Assignee: Stryker CorporationInventor: Wenjie Deng

Patent number: 7237991Abstract: The present invention provides a machine tool capable of reducing residual vibration occurring at the location time, thereby achieving responsiveness to a recent demand for higher acceleration/deceleration speed. The machine tool is configured such that a column 3 is fixed on a bed 2, a spindle head 6 for supporting a spindle 7 is disposed on a front face 3b? of the column 3 to be movable in a Z-axis direction, and a pair of right and left Z-axis ball screws (spindle drive shafts) 22 for driving the vicinity of the gravity center of the spindle head 6 is disposed on the front face 3b? of the column 3 to be symmetrical to each other with respect to a plane that includes an axis C of the spindle head 6 and is parallel to a Y axis, thereby driving the vicinity of the gravity center of the spindle head 6.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2004Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Assignee: Mori Seiki Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuyuki Hiramoto, Akihiro Mochizuki, Shunsuke Nakazawa, Satoshi Matsui

Patent number: 7237992Abstract: A process of machining a scroll member of a scroll compressor by using a non-rotary cutting tool. The non-rotary cutting tool is moved relative to a workpiece in a predetermined direction for cutting the workpiece, with its rake face being held substantially perpendicular to the predetermined direction. The cutting tool includes (a) a generally cylindrical shank portion, and (b) a generally semi-cylindrical body portion which has an outer circumferential surface constituted by the rake face and a semi-cylindrical surface. The semi-cylindrical body portion has a cutting edge which is defined by an edge of the rake face and which is covered with a diamond coating. The rake face has a planar surface and a constant width throughout the cutting edge.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2005Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Assignees: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., OSG CorporationInventors: Hideaki Matsuhashi, Tamotsu Nagai

Patent number: 7237993Abstract: A shipping carrier having a frame with at least one elongated cylindrical mounting rod extending transversely across the frame. A plurality of retainers each having molded dunnage are provided wherein each retainer has a flexible tubular cylindrical section with an axially extending through slot formed along one side. The cylindrical section has an inside diameter substantially the same as the outside diameter of the mounting rod and the slot has a width less than the outside diameter of the mounting rod. Dunnage is attached to each of the retainers. The retainers are detachably mounted to the mounting rod by inserting the cylindrical section onto the mounting rod through the slot. The retainer is then pivotal on the mounting rod between a holding position and a release position.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2005Date of Patent: July 3, 2007Inventors: Charles Farley, Craig Hefner
