Publication number: 20070192947Abstract: Described herein is apparel that protects a wearer from an undesirable agent. The apparel employs a transition portal to assist doffing and to reduce the risk of cross-contamination during doffing. The transition portal attaches to the apparel proximate to one end of an aperture, which provides an exit for the protective apparel. When doffing, the transition portal extends away from the person, who exits the aperture. The transition portal is then pulled over the body along with any attached portions of the protective apparel. This turns the transition portal—and attached parts of the apparel—inside-out. After doffing, most portions of protective apparel are either a) inside-out, or b) contained within the inside-out transition portal and/or apparel. As a result, undesirable agents—that were initially on the outside of the apparel—are now inside the inside-out transition portal and apparel.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2004Publication date: August 23, 2007Inventors: William Plut, Bruce Karatzoglou

Publication number: 20070192969Abstract: An aerodynamically designed wing attachment for use with a pool brush that can be mounted in several locations: directly to top of brush; to an adapter in between the brush and pole; or attached directly or indirectly to pole. The pressure of the water on the wing forces the pool brush to remain continuously in contact with the sides and bottom of a pool. What used to take 20 to 30 minutes of bodily strength and struggle with prior art, now affords the user to complete this very manageable task in 5 minutes. In prior art, force must be applied in a sideways and downward motion during the process of brushing the sides or bottom of a swimming pool. The products on the market today are made of materials which are of little substance and are not as effective or precise in holding the brush against the sides or bottom of a swimming pool thus requiring bodily strength and force to function.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 17, 2006Publication date: August 23, 2007Inventors: Gary Butler, Dori Milner, Darla Humphrey, Susan Milner

Publication number: 20070192970Abstract: A self-propelled swimming pool cleaner which randomly covers the bottom of the pool. Water pumped from the bottom of the unit filters dirt carried thereby, then uses the pumped water to propel the device either forward or backward. A pivoted front axle causes the path of the unit to vary when changing from forward to backward so that the unit randomly covers the entire pool bottom. Spring loaded doors may be provided to allow water to exit when the unit is lifted out of the pool. A sealed motor unit has a metal portion to transfer heat from the motor.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2007Publication date: August 23, 2007Inventor: Joseph Hui
