Abstract: A wide angle reflector which can work in conjunction with a wide-angle sensor system for testing the wide angle reflector. In this case, reflex sensors transmit light onto a cube corner part surface, and measure the retro-reflected light. If the direction of irradiation of the light deviates too strongly from the normal to the cube corner part surface, the retro-reflective light, which serves as signal, is retro-reflected too weakly, or is not retro-reflected at all to the transmitter. This wide-angle sensor system with a cube corner part surface permits the observation of a large surface with an aperture angle of 80° and more. In addition, the wide-angle sensor system with cube corner part surface comprises a gauge for selecting the observation angle and the cube corner part surface which comprises a multiplicity of cube corners.

Abstract: Hand engraved etchings, computer generated sandblastings, transparencies, or any other photo or art work may be precisely and deliberately placed within the interior of a lighted “shadow box” fine art frame. Those photo and art works are then either directly or indirectly applied onto or used in conjunction with glass, acrylic, or other framing components, to create a plurality of lights, glass, half-silvered glass, and mirrors within the photo/art frame housing. The framing components secure the glass and mirrors in various diametrically situated positions as to cause an illusion of eternal reflection of not only the lighting elements, but also of the art work. The Photo/Art Frame Eternal Depth Illusion invention brings together the worlds of photo and art framing together with the infinity lighting concept.

Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention provide a magnetic disk drive with sufficiently low noise. A digital/analog converter supplies to a voice coil motor (VCM) driver a control voltage comprising a first preset voltage value, a second preset voltage value, and a transition voltage value of a substantially cosine wave that interconnects the first preset voltage value and the second preset voltage value. A driving current is supplied from the VCM driver to a voice coil of an actuator assembly. Since a current not containing higher-harmonic components in a transition period flows as a VCM current that flows into the voice coil, vibromotive force can be easily suppressed by shifting a structural resonance point of the entire disk drive including the actuator assembly.

The magnetic write pole can have a trapezoidal shape with first and second laterally opposed sides that are further apart at the trailing edge than at the leading edge. The write head may or may not include a magnetic trailing shield, and if a trailing shield is included it is separated from the trailing edge by a non-magnetic write gap layer. In selected embodiments, chloride level in the activated carbon is relatively low, a small amount of conductive carbon with low impurity levels and high conductivity is used, and the binder is inert. For example, chloride content of the activated carbon is below 50 ppm, and total impurities in the conductive carbon are below 120 ppm. The mixture may include about 10% of PTFE and 0.5% or less of conductive carbon. Blending and fibrillization may be performed without solvents. The fibrillized particles are dried, blended again to reduce clumping, and used to make active electrode material film. The film is attached to a current collector to obtain an electrode for use in various electrical devices, including double layer capacitors. The electrode increases breakdown voltage of the capacitor electrolyte.

Abstract: There is provided a motor controller which eliminates a positioning operation between a power semiconductor element and a base plate to improve assemblability. A motor controller has a power semiconductor element (3) closely contacted with a heatsink (1) and mounted in a first base plate (4), wherein a spacer (2) having an engaging section (2e) formed therein as a hole for the power semiconductor element (3) is interposed between the heatsink (1) and the base plate (4), and the power semiconductor element (3) is positioned in the spacer (2). Further, the peripheral wall of the hole is arranged so as to shut off a space between a terminal projecting from the side of the power semiconductor element (3) and the heatsink (1).

Abstract: A fastening assembly for riser cards equipped with memory modules includes holders and latches. Each of the holders has bars and pillars to form a solid framework and couple to a mother board. The edges of the riser cards are held by holding grooves on the pillars to enable the riser cards sliding therein and insert towards riser sockets on the mother board. Meanwhile, the latches slip to latch the holding grooves to limit the movement of the riser cards. Thus, the fastening assembly improves the fixing strength of the riser cards and prevents from moving off while impacted, vibrated or crashed.

The bracketing assembly comprises two groove-engageable bracket members and two grooved bracket members. The groove-engageable members may be mounted to a support wall to form a bracketed support assembly and the grooved members may be mounted to a flat panel television to form a bracketed television assembly. The goove-engageable members cooperate with the grooved bracket members to mount the bracketed television assembly to the bracketed support assembly. The bracketed support assembly thus supports the bracketed television assembly by way of the groove-engageable and grooved bracket members.

Abstract: A push release latch for a display device is provided according to an embodiment of the invention. The push release latch includes a slider portion adapted to slide substantially laterally within a latch receptacle of a housing with respect to an actuation axis A of the push release latch. The slider portion includes a latch projection adapted to engage and retain a display screen and at least one actuator projection that extends from the slider portion. The latch further includes a push portion adapted to travel within the latch receptacle substantially along the actuation axis A. The push portion includes at least one sloped actuation surface that engages the at least one actuator projection of the slider portion. The at least one sloped actuation surface forces the at least one latch projection and the slider portion to move substantially laterally in response to a depression force.
