  • Patent number: 7293767
Abstract: In a sheet sucking/feeding device, actuators are independently and individually connected respectively to plural suction cups. At a point in time when a printing plate is sucked and raised up by a predetermined amount, every other one of the actuators is simultaneously operated such that the suction cups connected to the operated actuators are displaced upwardly. The sucked uppermost printing plate is curved so as to become wavy. Air enters in between the uppermost printing plate and a next printing plate therebeneath such that that printing plate therebeneath is disjoined (separated). Only the uppermost printing plate is stably removed and fed out.

  • Patent number: 7293768
Abstract: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus allowing travel of a tabbed sheet, in which even when a tabbed sheet is made to travel, no erroneous jamming detection occurs, thus allowing the tabbed sheet to travel in the same manner as in the case of an ordinary sheet. The image forming apparatus includes: a sheet detecting unit arranged in a sheet transport path for transporting a sheet and adapted to detect the sheet; and a control unit which, when the tabbed sheet is made to travel, performs control so as to make a set value for a reference timer for a jamming judgment to be made through detection of a sheet by the sheet detecting unit different from a set value for an ordinary sheet.

  • Patent number: 7293771
Abstract: A board game combining an element of chance (via a random event generator, such as a die) with strategy to decide the outcome of the game. Game pieces are moved along a numerically sequenced series alternating in a pattern from inside a dividing line to outside of this same line and back again until a game piece reaches the free-throw line, at which time it may be “shot” in order to score, provided that the required character is generated by the random event generator. Whether a game piece may come into the game and whether it may advance along the sequential series depends on the random event generator. However, which game piece to play, assuming a valid move can be made, is up to the player(s) of the team, and the strategy followed by the team player(s) can have a major impact in the outcome of the game.

  • Patent number: 7293772
Abstract: A card game that can be used for wagering purposes. A series of successive poker hands can be formed around a table, and upon formation of each hand a current player declares a rank of the hand which is better than a rank of a former hand. The other players at the table have the option to fold, challenge, or accept the hand in order to make an even better hand. If a current player is challenged and the declared hand by the current player was truthful, then the current player wins the pot.

  • Patent number: 7293779
Abstract: A gasket includes an intermediate layer having resilient sealing beads flanked by stopper beads. The three-layer gasket, particularly designed for heavy duty racing engines, provides a relatively robust cross-section in web-areas between cylinder bore apertures. A thin bottom layer includes wrap-around flanged portions extending about cylinder bore edges of the intermediate layer to partially overlap cylinder bore aperture areas of that layer. The flanged portions may include a plurality of waves to increase forces to generate the seal. A thin top layer overlies the intermediate layer, as well as the overlapping portions of the bottom layer. In one described embodiment, the overlapping portions are limited to cylinder bore edges between cylinder bores. As a between-engine-overhaul indication of engine health, the top gasket layer is adapted via plastic deformation to form a permanent indentation in an aluminum cylinder head to signal excessive engine operation.

  • Patent number: 7293781
Abstract: An anti-creep locking mechanism for a trailer suspension system is disclosed. The disclosed locking mechanism includes at least one column that may be swung into a first position in a gap formed between a trailer frame and a suspension component to keep a trailer at a predetermined height. The column is biased into the first position by a spring. An actuator, such as a contracting air bag or an air cylinder with a linkage assembly, is used to overcome the biasing force of the spring and retract the column into a second position, thereby deactivating the anti-creep locking mechanism. The anti-creep mechanism may further include an angle limiter to insure that column is fully retracted once the system is deactivated.

Abstract: A press fitting includes a pipe connector, a nipple, a check ring, a sealing ring, a pressure sleeve. The pressure sleeve is locked within the check ring, which has an inlet groove, a positioning annular groove connected with the inlet groove, and the positioning annular groove has larger internal diameter than that of the inlet groove. The pressure sleeve has an extension section on its end, and the dimension of the external diameter of the larger-diameter end of the extension section is between the dimension of the internal diameter of the inlet groove of the check ring and that of the internal diameter of the positioning annular groove of the check ring. The press fitting involves good coaxiality between the pressure sleeve and the check ring, good fixity of the pressure sleeve, and can be operated easily and utilized widely in industrial applications.

  • Patent number: 7293805
Abstract: This invention relates to a type of safety door central release device which can be used to close the safety door automatically when electric power is disrupted. It comprises a cord that is tied to a mechanism having potential energy on one end, and extended to a far distance on the other end; a pair of crank arms of which one end molded as a grip and gripping the cord, and the other end is connected to a sliding bar, having potential energy which assists the grip in release the cord. When electric power is supplied, the sliding bar will be attracted to an electromagnet. As a result, while electric power is disrupted, the release device can immediately release the cord. Due to release of the cord, a brake for a door operator is released by means of the mechanism such that the safety door slides down and then it is closed.

Abstract: The present selective type one-motion door opening mechanism comprises a ratchet lever (32) for opening a vehicle door, an open lever (22) displaceable by an outside open handle (25), a lock lever (23) displaceable between an unlocked position (U) in which a displacement of the open lever is transmitted to the ratchet lever and an locked position (L) in which the displacement of the open lever is not transmitted to the ratchet lever, a sub-lever (35) being rotated by an inside open handle (19), and a selector pin (41) displaceable between an effective position (X) and to a ineffective position (Y). The rotation of the ratchet lever returns the lock lever to the unlocked position. The selector pin at the effective position transmits the rotation of the sub-lever to the ratchet lever, and selector pin at the ineffective position transmits the rotation of the sub-lever to the open lever.

Abstract: A load sensing device comprise an inner member provided at a front part of a vehicle and a load sensor provided at a position before a front of the inner member, in addition to an outer member and a load transfer member. The outer member is provided at the front part of the vehicle so as to be located more frontward than the load sensor so that a space is formed between the outer member and the load sensor. The outer member is in charge of allowing the load sensor to sense, via the outer member, a load applied to a front of the vehicle. The load transfer member, made of a hard material, is disposed adjacently to the load sensor within the space between the outer member and the load sensor. The load sensor is allowed to move along the inner member in the back-and-forth direction of the vehicle.
