Publication number: 20070261928Abstract: An actuator for a drum brake including a plunger connected through a resilient member to a linkage attached to a web on a brake shoe. A rod extends from the plunger and engages a lever arm that is pivotally retained on the web. The lever engages an extendable strut of an adjuster arrangement through which a running clearance is maintained between the brake shoe and a drum. During a brake application, pressurization fluid acts on the plunger to develop an operational force that is communicated through the resilient member to move the brake shoe into engagement with a drum. Should the operational force overcome the resilient member, the plunger moves toward the linkage and a reactive force is applied through the rod that acts through the lever arm to prevent a pawl from rotating such that a current length of the strut and correspondingly a current running clearance is sustained.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2006Publication date: November 15, 2007Applicants: Robert Bosch Corporation, Robert Bosch GmbHInventor: Djamel Charmat

The conveying surface defines a series of tandem zones, each of the zones including an article sensor and an actuator. Articles are sensed with the article sensor in the respective zone and the portion of the conveying surface at that zone is driven when the corresponding actuator is operated. Inputs are received from the article sensors at the zones and the actuators for the zones are controlled as a function of the inputs. This includes defining objects, each of the objects corresponding to one of said zones. Virtual signals are enabled between the objects. The virtual signals relate to movement of articles along the conveying surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 8, 2007Publication date: November 15, 2007Applicant: Dematic Corp.Inventors: Wynn M. Publication number: 20070261944Abstract: Provided is an operating switch mechanism having a handle cover with enhanced rigidity. The operating switch mechanism has a chassis 1 in which individual switches 21 and a group switch are exposed from the front side. An indicator hole for passing light is formed in the chassis 1 to at locations facing light-emitting diodes indicating operation states of lighting apparatuses in association with the group switch. A handle body 4 is rotatably attached on the front side of the chassis 1 so as to press the group switch. An indicator hole is formed at the location corresponding to the indicator hole formed in the chassis 1. A handle cover 5 is rotatably attached on the front side of the handle body 4. An indicator hole is formed at the location corresponding to the indicator hole formed in the handle body 4. A concave groove 44 for attaching an indicator window 8 is formed on the front side.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 8, 2007Publication date: November 15, 2007Applicant: Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd.Inventor: Takashi Yoshida
