Patent number: 7300027Abstract: An instrument hanger attachable to a microphone stand facilitates the supporting or hanging of various musical instruments on the stand. The hanger has an annular loop portion for receiving the top portion of the shaft of the stand, a neck and an instrument holding portion shaped to prevent the instrument to detach from the holder in typically encountered situations. A single hanger may hold several like or different instruments. The hangers taught herein may be more convenient than large conventional musical instrument stands which add to the expense and difficulty of travelling and which may crowd a concert stage.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 2004Date of Patent: November 27, 2007Inventor: Lawrence Richard Walker

Patent number: 7300029Abstract: A flat panel display wall mounting system includes a wall plate assembly connected to a flat panel display mounting rack assembly. The wall plate assembly and the mounting rack assembly are able to be separated to facilitate mounting on a wall. Specifically, the wall plate assembly may mounted on a wall and leveled, while the mounting rack assembly may be attached to a flat panel display while still on the ground. The flat panel display may then be hung on the wall plate assembly. A pitch assembly is provided to adjust the pitch of the flat panel display once hung on the wall plate assembly. A pin connection mechanism is provided to enable the mounting rack assembly to be pivoted out from the wall plate assembly so that the rear area of the flat panel display may be accessed for servicing while the flat panel display is mounted on the wall mounting system.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2006Date of Patent: November 27, 2007Assignee: Bretford Manufacturing, Inc.Inventors: Christopher Petrick, Robert Coon, Jimmy-Quang Viet Doan, Scott Kouri, Bjorn Gunderson, Nic Davirro

Patent number: 7300033Abstract: A blowout preventer operator locking system comprises a piston rod having one end coupled to a closure member. The operator further comprises an operator housing having one end coupled to a bonnet and a second end coupled to a head. The piston rod extends through the bonnet onto the operator housing where it is coupled to a piston that is disposed within the operator housing. The piston comprises a body and a flange. A sleeve is slidingly disposed within a cavity disposed within the piston and is rotationally fixed relative to the piston. A lock rod is rotatably coupled to the head and is threadedly engaged with the sleeve so that rotation of the lock rod axially translates the sleeve relative to the piston.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2006Date of Patent: November 27, 2007Assignee: Cameron International CorporationInventors: Melvyn F. Patent number: 7300034Abstract: A compensation device for a valve compensates for expansion of a valve stem and/or inertial effects during operation of the valve. The compensation device is preferably integrally provided with the valve. The compensation device includes a first plate rigidly connected to the body of the valve and a second plate movably coupled to the first plate. The second plate is rigidly coupled to the operator assembly housing that houses and controls the movement of the second end of the valve stem, so that movement of the second plate relative to the first plate moves the operator assembly relative to the valve body to compensate for expansion of the valve stem and/or inertial forces. The first plate and second plate remain in radial alignment during the relative movement. One or more biasing elements, such as spring assemblies, are used to connect the first plate and the second plate to bias the plates in a default position, absorb forces and allow for movement of the second plate relative to the first plate.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2005Date of Patent: November 27, 2007Assignee: Weir Valves & Controls USA Inc.Inventor: Sam N.
