    Abstract: A method and device which enables an oxygen-free gasification process of both a hydrocarbon-containing (initiation/catalyzing) gas in combination either/both carbonaceous and non-carbonaceous solids and/or liquids or mixture thereof (feedstock material). This is a closed-loop system thus eliminating emissions and preventing environmentally damaging pollution. In one embodiment, a solid feedstock material is utilized, although solids, liquids or slurry may be used. Pulverized solid feedstock martial is first cleansed, dried and then saturated with a hydrocarbon containing gas to displace and remove any air or oxygen from voids in particulate matter. (Liquid feedstock material does not first need to be dried or saturated). The initiation gas is first injected into a high-temperature gasification tube. Simultaneously, gas saturated feedstock material is injected into a feedstock injection tube which openly terminates inside the gasification tube.

    Abstract: A shutter device for covering windows; which incorporates two panels. Each panel has clear and printed areas which are digitized with an image. When the shutters are moved in the open position, the images merge and the images of the two shutters appear back to back. When the shutters are moved in the opposite direction closed, the image from both shutters is visible. In addition to providing aesthetic appeal of the merging image, the shutter provides and blocks vision though the shutter as one panel is moved with respect to the other. The shutter device is adaptable to semicircular, circular and rectangular windows. The shutter utilizes two panels mounted on the inside of a frame; one of the panels is moveable. The panels are of a clear material, such as glass or plastic, each panel has alternate clear and printed areas.

    Abstract: Weather stripping for use in sealing an interface between selected vehicle portions is made using a thermoplastic material such as TPV with a supercritical fluid introduced during the manufacturing process to provide a microcellular structure. The microcellular structure of one example implementation of this invention includes a cell density in a range from about 109 to about 1015 per cubic centimeter. Average cell sizes preferably are less than 2 microns. A preferred range in one example is between about 0.1 micron and about 1.0 micron. The inventive design provides superior performance with cost savings compared to rubber weather stripping.
