Publication number: 20080034658Abstract: A method and device which enables an oxygen-free gasification process of both a hydrocarbon-containing (initiation/catalyzing) gas in combination either/both carbonaceous and non-carbonaceous solids and/or liquids or mixture thereof (feedstock material). This is a closed-loop system thus eliminating emissions and preventing environmentally damaging pollution. In one embodiment, a solid feedstock material is utilized, although solids, liquids or slurry may be used. Pulverized solid feedstock martial is first cleansed, dried and then saturated with a hydrocarbon containing gas to displace and remove any air or oxygen from voids in particulate matter. (Liquid feedstock material does not first need to be dried or saturated). The initiation gas is first injected into a high-temperature gasification tube. Simultaneously, gas saturated feedstock material is injected into a feedstock injection tube which openly terminates inside the gasification tube.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2007Publication date: February 14, 2008Inventors: Catherine Ann Heiser, Mark Lewis Heiser

An attachment panel 30 and an adjacent attachment panel 30 are applied of the tension restoring force by the elastic member so that the both hook projections 132 close to each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 21, 2007Publication date: February 14, 2008Inventor: Wan Chae

Publication number: 20080034698Abstract: Panels that provide structural integrity to building structures and enhance the insulation and heat dissipation capacity of a structure. The panels include an inner imperforate rigid layer of a first material, an outer rigid layer of a second material, and at least one intermediate rigid layer of a third material. The layers are positioned in a spaced relationship so that there are a first air space between the inner layer and the intermediate layer and a second air space between the intermediate layer and the outer layer. At least one pair of upper and lower openings are provided in the outer layer so that the second air space communicates with ambient air. Likewise, the intermediate layer includes at least one pair of upper and lower openings that communicate with the openings in the outer layer so that the first air space is also in fluid communication with the ambient air.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 10, 2007Publication date: February 14, 2008Inventor: Vivek Gupta

Publication number: 20080034699Abstract: A roofing member provides improved thermal expansion relief characteristics when mounted adjacent to other roofing members in laterally extending courses on a roof surface. According to one arrangement, the roofing member has a main body with top and bottom surfaces, and side regions, as well as one or more spacer tabs extending outwardly from one or more of the side regions. Each spacer tab extends outwardly from a location on one of the side regions that is adjacent to one of a set of depressions formed into the bottom surface of the main body. In this way, when thermal expansion of adjacently mounted roofing members occurs causing a compressive force to be applied against particular spacer tabs, the spacer tabs fail in a way that at least partially displaces the respective tabs into the adjacently positioned depressions, thereby reducing the stress loads that adjacent shingles apply to one another.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2006Publication date: February 14, 2008Applicant: EPOCH COMPOSITE PRODUCTS, INC.Inventors: Peter J. Publication number: 20080034702Abstract: An apparatus comprises a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A first leg comprising a first surface and a second surface is disposed between the first and second ends. A second leg comprising a first surface and a second surface is disposed between the first and second ends. A first receiving groove is disposed in the first leg and forms a first pathway. A second receiving groove is disposed in the second leg and forms a second pathway. A first receiving channel is disposed in the first leg and is in communication with the first receiving groove. A second receiving channel is disposed in the second leg and is in communication with the second receiving groove. A fin is coupled to the first and second legs and is disposed between the first and second receiving channels. The fin is substantially coplanar with the first end.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2007Publication date: February 14, 2008Inventors: Ray Garries, Nelson Hertzog, Kevin Campbell, Rick Hetherington
