Abstract: A camera integrated firearm system replaces the original recoil spring and guide assembly of a firearm with a casing which includes a camera, a gunshot impact sensing and switching module, an image memory module, and output data ports. When the weapon is discharged, the sensing and switching module senses this discharge and immediately turns on the camera. The camera, utilizing ambient light plus the light generated by muzzle flash, i.e. the jet of fire exiting the barrel at the instant the bullet exits the weapon, takes and saves, in memory, a closely spaced sequential stream of digital photographs or, alternatively, video recordings. Using the data outputs, the images can then be downloaded for viewing.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to float devices useful for fishing that have flutes or ribs. The ribs can be generally oriented along a portion of the longitudinal axis of the apparatus in exemplary embodiments, though other configurations for the ribs are possible. The fluted ribs can be molded into the body of the float in exemplary embodiments. The fluted ribs can add stability to the float, helping the float track better, improving use in fast moving water, e.g., during trolling. Such fluted ribs can reduce a tendency of the float to spin in fast water. Additionally, bait can be added to the grooves created by the fluted ribs. The fluted ribs can also add volume to the float for a given weight or mass, which can improve the natural drifting of the float to better match the current speed of the surrounding water, mimicking natural bait.

Abstract: [PROBLEMS] Since conventionally a quake-absorbing system is provided with a unit for absorbing the horizontal force acting on the structure and a position returning unit separately and composed of a complex internal structure and precise components including a special material and a hydraulic unit inspection by the manufacture is required even after installation and a significant burden is imposed to the manufacturer. In order to reduce the costs of manufacture and inspection, the absorption unit and the returning unit are integrated into one body, any special material is not used, and the structure desirably does not include a complex internal structure or precise components.

Abstract: A flexible hurricane shutter is provided. A composite laminate material is constructed using layers of high elastic modulus fibers or fiber bundles. The material also can be coated with a membrane on one or both sides to improve the elastic strength and wind- and water-resistance of the material to provide further protection. The fibers or fiber bundles also can be encased in a coating to prevent the fiber or fiber bundles from fraying, to prevent corrosion on metallic fibers, or to provide additional strength or flexibility to the material. The flexible hurricane shutter can be adapted to be secured directly to an exterior feature of a structure to cover an opening in the structure such as a window. Alternatively, the flexible hurricane shutter can be adapted to be secured to an extrusion extending from the exterior of a structure, either directly or by means of a keder and keder track.

Abstract: Self-sealing structural installation strip assemblies for a framed unit are discussed. The installation strip assembly comprises a main body having an inner portion and an outer portion. In some examples, a leg of the inner portion, in conjunction with portions of a unit groove seal, are received and retained in a groove of a unit frame member. The unit groove seal provides a seal between the installation strip assembly and the framed unit. At the building site, the installation strip may be folded from a substantially flush position with respect to a frame member to an outwardly extending position so that the strip may be secured using one or more fasteners to a building structure extending around a rough unit opening. The upper portion of the main body may include at least one of a fastener seal, a flashing seal, or a wall seal.

Abstract: A drywall-trimming strip for trimming an archway has a nose with a tabbed edge and a flanged edge. A first series of slits spaced from one another define a series of tabs spaced from one another along the tabbed edge. A flange extends from and along the flanged edge. The tabs are joined to the tabbed edge of the nose by a continuous juncture extending along and defining the tabbed edge of the nose, which has a second series of slits extending to the continuous juncture and spaced from one another, as the slits defining the tabs are spaced from one another. All parts of the drywall-trimming strip are made from a comparatively harder, less flexible, polymeric material, such as polyvinyl chloride having a hardness of Durometer Shore 82 D, except for the continuous juncture, which is made from a comparatively softer, more flexible material, such as polyvinyl chloride having a hardness of Durometer Shore 92 A.

Abstract: A tri-pole transmission tower includes a tower having multiple truss tower sections. The multiple tower sections have a central vertical axis as well as a cross section having circular, triangular, polygonal, or any other similar shape. The multiple tower sections are of differing perimeters. Stacking the smaller circumference or smaller perimeter sections on top of larger circumference or larger perimeter sections results in the tower “stepping” as it is constructed from the foundation to its peak. Thus, the perimeter of the nearest to the ground section of the tower is larger than the section sitting directly above it, and that section has a larger perimeter than the section of the tower sitting directly above it, and so on until the peak of the tower is reached.

Abstract: The invention relates to panels having a decorative surface for forming a flooring, to a method for producing the decors and to a flooring made up of said panels. The invention finally relates to a decorative paper. The aim of the invention is to provide panels that allow to produce an inexpensive flooring having a high-quality appearance and to provide a corresponding method for producing them. For this purpose, the décor surfaces of panels on at least one end each are optically adapted to each other to such a degree that, when the panels are laid, they give a continuous image of the décor at the transition from one laid panel to the adjacent laid panel. The wood décor has a continuous image within the meaning of the invention if the grain of the depicted wood is optically uninterrupted at the transition from one laid panel to the adjacent laid panel, i.e. when there is no offset between the respective depicted grains. The same applies for other decors, for example stone decors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a panel installation set used to finish the surface of a building, and to a method of installing panels using the panel installation set. The panel installation set comprises a support member (10) having a coupling projection (15) and a panel (20) having a coupling groove (25). The installation method includes the steps of fixing a support member (10) having a coupling projection to a building and assembling a panel (20) having a coupling groove (25) to the support member (10) in a manner such that the coupling projection (15) is inserted into the coupling groove (25). According to the present invention, since panels are assembled in a sliding manner, the panel installation set has the advantage of enabling easy and simple assembly of the panels, and reducing installation cost by reducing the use of subsidiary material.
