Abstract: Apparatus (10) for securing sample collection, comprises an open-topped container (12), a lid (14) for securely covering the open-topped container (12) to prevent access to container contents, and first and second tamper-evident features (16, 18) each having a frangible portion (20, 22) which fractures in use to provide an indication of tampering with container contents when its respective tamper-evident feature is activated. The first and second tamper-evident features (16, 18) are independently-operable, with activation of the first tamper-evident feature (16) preventing activation of the second tamper-evident feature (18) until the frangible portion (20) of the first tamper-evident feature (16) is fractured. The second tamper evident feature (18) is operable without having to remove the fractured frangible portion (20) of the first tamper evident feature (16) from the apparatus (20).

Upon removal of the end cap from the container bottom, the contents are exposed and the eating utensil may be used to consume the contents of the container.

After winding one overall innermost layer, an annular reinforcement belt (16) is helically wound atop a defined region using a band (60) of resin impregnated parallel strands (39) under tension. The annular belt (16) is then itself helically overwound with the resin impregnated parallel strands of filamentary material under tension to provide two complete outer layers. After curing and removal from the mandrel (23) at least one aperture (71) is cut in the sidewall within the reinforcement belt (16) and a side port fitting (75) is installed in the aperture (71).

The aim of the invention is to simplify mounting of the housing parts, comprising said type of locking device, for the producer. The safety means comprise at least one connecting means forming a force fit.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to insulated beverage container housings. It is often desirable to maintain the temperature of a beverage during the period of time in which the beverage is to be consumed. Additionally, many consumers of beverages have preferred beverage containers which are used to store and dispense beverages during the period of consumption. Various embodiments of the present invention illustrate insulated beverage container housings that provide thermal insulation to beverage containers.

The product delivery system may include a vacuum holding device, a robotic positioning system, a reel and cable system, and a controller. A feature is the provision of a picker head with a built-in vacuum generating source that may be carried by a robotically movable arm system.

Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for handling loose objects having different physical characteristics, such as pharmaceutical drugs including, without limitation, oral solids in the form of pills, tablets, capsules and the like. Loose objects are loaded into individual canisters. A tooling assembly, comprising at least one canister drive mechanism, imaging sensor and package handler is mounted to a gantry assembly, can be translated through the cabinet via the gantry assembly to engage with particular canisters in accordance with unique and dynamic control parameters. Objects are dispensed from a canister directly to the desired packaging, such as a vial or “blister pack.” Additionally, a beneficially stronger blister pack container is provided.

The unit comprises a housing, within which is mounted an impeller for engaging and urging beverage containers such as cans or bottles toward a housing opening. The impeller and the beverage containers are urged toward the housing by a biasing means such as a spring. Curved restraining formations such as fingers are located near the housing opening so as to engage the sides of the beverage containers and restrain them from movement out of the container until they are pulled out through a housing opening by the beverage dispenser unit operator.

Abstract: A dispensing device relocates at least one object from a bottom portion of a container to a position located close to the opening of the container to allow the object to be easily removed. The device comprises an elongate body member and a plurality of teeth extending outwardly from an inner surface of the body member. When the device is inserted into a container, an outer surface of the body member extends at least partially around an inside wall of the container, at least a portion of the outer surface engages the inside wall in a friction fit, and the plurality of teeth form a shelf. An opening is defined between the shelf and the container. When the container is inverted, at least one object passes through the opening and is retained on the shelf when the container is at least partially righted.

Abstract: A mechanical dispenser includes an elongated housing, first and second longitudinal racks, and an extruder. The housing is adapted for receiving and storing a fluent material. The first rack resides in the housing and incorporates a first series of spaced teeth. The second rack is located adjacent to the first rack in the housing, and incorporates a second series of spaced teeth. The second rack is slidably movable relative to the first rack. The extruder is located within the housing, and is adapted for rectilinear movement along the first rack. The extruder has first and second hinged pawls for engaging respective first and second racks. Upon movement of the second rack relative to the first rack from a first position to a second position, the first pawl of the extruder operatively engages a selected tooth of the first rack while the second pawl slides over a tooth of the second rack, thereby maintaining a first position of the extruder on the first rack.

The line system couples one or more beverage containers in the ice chest to the pressurization system through one or more gas lines, and couples the beverage containers to the dispensing valve device through one or more beverage lines. Actuating the dispensing valve device opens a valve and allows the beverage to flow into a cup under force of the pressurization system. A retractor, such as a spring-loaded reel, can also be included to facilitate keeping the dispensing valve device close to the ice chest when not in use.

There is a bottle receptacle in it, and the bottle receptacle groove having a probe connecting with water bottle and the cold tank inside. There is a baffle on a hollow baffle leader under the probe. The end of the baffle leader connects with a hot tank installed under cold tank by the cold and hot tank connecting tube, hot tank draining three-way pipe or draining pipe.

A portion of the actuating mechanism helps to unseat a check valve at the outlet of the fluid chamber. The foamer pump has a fluid chamber, and an outlet of the fluid chamber is connected to a mixing chamber. An air chamber has an air channel that connects the air chamber to ambient air in a first position and to the mixing chamber in a second position. A piston causes the volume of the air chamber and the liquid chamber each to be reduced, forcing air from the air chamber and foamable fluid from the liquid chamber into the mixing chamber where they blend to form an air/liquid mixture.

Abstract: A pump dispenser has a large ergonomic actuator designed to ergonomically deliver a composition to a substrate in the consumer's hand without the consumer having to pick up the pump dispenser. The ergonomic design allows the composition to be delivered in a proper aspect ratio to the substrate. The composition can be delivered in such a way that the composition is not aerosolized into the air or delivered to an unintended surface. The method of delivery can be made intuitive to the consumer by providing an actuator skirt that suggests the pumping mechanism or by providing a depiction of a hand or substrate over the pump dispenser. The pump dispenser is also useful for compositions or substrates that are not stable together.

Abstract: An attachment provides automatic control to a repetitive syringe drip dispenser. The dispenser has a push button which when pushed causes a shaft inside the body of the dispenser to travel a precisely-controlled distance thereby pushing the piston of a syringe and dispensing a controlled amount of liquid. The attachment includes a push-type solenoid disposed within the body of the attachment and having a plunger adapted to lie directly over the push button. The attachment further includes a logic circuit comprising timer, counter, and relay integrated circuits connected to the solenoid for feeding power to the solenoid from an external power source, a plurality of push buttons connected to the logic circuit for setting the rate and number of times the push button of the dispenser is to be pushed by the solenoid, and a plurality of light emitting diodes connected to the logic circuit for displaying the set values.

The container is configured for supplying pressurized glue. The first nozzle fluidly communicates with the container and allows pressurized glue to flow out therethrough along a first direction. The second nozzle fluidly communicates with the container and allows pressurized glue to flow out therethrough along a second direction different from the first direction. Further, a dispensing process using such a dispenser in a process of assembling lens module also is provided.

The feed assembly comprises a rotary feeder that has a material inlet for receiving bulk material from a low pressure source and a material outlet for discharging the bulk material into a higher pressure conveying line which is a source of leakage gas into the rotary feeder. The feeder has venting means to vent leakage gas through the material inlet without such leakage gas contacting the bulk material entering the feeder.

Abstract: The present invention is a container closure for a bottle or other similar container having a neck. The closure includes a top ring, a downwardly depending skirt, and a hollow generally cylindrical downwardly depending plug seal. The plug seal having a varied thickness with a relatively thick proximal end and tapers to a relatively thinner midpoint. The plug seal further extends at a substantially constant thickness to a distal end. The plug seal includes an upper annular bead and a lower annular bead on the outer surface thereof. The lower bead is slightly larger than the upper bead. The upper bead is located coincident with or near the midpoint of the plug seal and the lower bead is located at or near the distal end of the plug seal.

Abstract: A full size hanger is a garment hanger specially designed for large clothing items. A full size hanger is unique in three material ways. First, the length of the hanger is longer than other hangers in order to ensure that large clothes fit better on the hanger. Secondly, in order to prevent the shoulder areas of large garments from sagging and clothes becoming misshaped, the full size hanger has multiple raised ridges located along the top edge of the hanger arms. This allows the full size hanger to be used for a variety of large clothing items in various shapes and sizes because the ridges prevent the clothing from sliding off the hanger. Finally, in order to support the increased weight of large clothing, the structure of the hanger has been modified to add a small ledge running along and over hanging the outer and inner edges of the hanger, so that the structure looks similar to an “I” beam.

Abstract: This invention relates to the clothing industry and, particularly to garment hangers and, more particularly, to molded plastic hangers with improved clothes clip having a relocated biasing force for the bottom of the plastic hanger. Further, this invention relates to an improved spring clip, particularly though not exclusively for providing a biasing force in the improved clothes clip of this invention for the suspending of clothes (e.g. trousers and skirts) during shipment or for display or storage. Further, application of the biasing force in the basic form of a U-shaped spring to the handle legs to hold the legs normally open during use, and therefore the gripping faces normally closed, allows the application of sufficient force to the gripping faces of the clip more efficiently allowing greater force at rest with less susceptibility to fatigue.

The tube and internal parallel rod both being adapted to pivot rearwardly while maintaining the bicycle supporting arms in a substantially parallel orientation with the vehicle hitch receiver. The tilting movement of the rack providing improved access to the rear of the vehicle.

Abstract: The invention relates to a separating apparatus for separating interconnected cushions by breaking weakening lines provided between these cushions. To this end, the apparatus comprises at least one circulating element and conveying means, for carrying the interconnected cushions along the circulating element. The circulating element is arranged for engaging the interconnected cushions at least once during a circulating movement of the circulating element, in order to carry one of these cushions along over a part of the circulating movement at a carrying speed which is higher than a conveying speed of the conveying means. The invention further relates to an apparatus for manufacturing cushions by filling chambers formed in film material with a gas and then sealing them, and a separating apparatus according to the invention.

The wire tensioning arrangement includes first and second tensioning members positioned on a first axis to receive the wire therebetween.
