The system incorporates a set of voluminous layers for wearing beneath the armour, one of which is enveloped voluminous layer. The envelope is perforated in the direction of said wearer, such that an air blower forces air into the perforation and thence onto the body of the wearer.

Abstract: The invention relates to a helmet, in particular a protective helmet for emergency services or intervention forces. Said helmet comprises a dome (1), which is provided with internal padding and lateral convex sections (1a) in the ear regions for accommodating ear defender capsules (5). Abstract: This application describes a garment (e.g. a swim suit) having a base layer of stretchable elasticated fabric, the base layer having a torso portion that covers at least a part of the torso of a person when the garment is worn. An inner core layer of stretchable elasticated fabric is bonded to the inner surface of the base layer to extend around the abdomen and lower back regions of the garment. By providing a double layer of stretchable elasticated fabric in this manner, more compression is applied to the abdomen of the person (e.g. swimmer) wearing the suit, bringing about improvements in form drag. The additional support provided to the lower back and abdomen also improves core stability, which is of benefit in many sporting activities, including swimming.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an evaporative cooling garment uses discrete units of a liquid-retentive material formed from the liquid-retentive material in its natural state. The discrete units may be pellets, tablets, or liquid-soluble pouches or capsules. In the preferred embodiment granulated water-absorbent polymer crystals are formed into capsules. The capsules are then sealed in one or more chambers in the garment.

Attached to the facing layer is at least one thermal delivery pad. The thermal delivery pad contains an exothermic composition. Once the mask is removed from a sealed package, air contacts the thermal delivery pad causing the mask to elevate in temperature. The thermal delivery pad can be constructed so that the rise of temperature and the length of time the mask remains heated is carefully controlled. The mask product can be used in combination with a fragrance or vapor delivery device for also releasing a fragrance, a vapor, or both as the mask is heated. In one embodiment, the fragrance or vapor delivery device can be attached and removed to the mask as a user desires.

The finished printed garment may be constructed from Prepared for Dying denim which is dyed to a chosen color. The printing method incorporates the use of a dischargeable ink applied to the finished garment, which is placed on belt-style printer, such that the design, once printed on the finished garment, may be continuous, regardless of presence of seams or pockets.

Abstract: A system for preventing overflow of a toilet includes a sensor, a processor and an actuator. The sensor senses a parameter caused by fluid dynamics within the toilet during a flush cycle. The parameter may involve vibration, sound, pressure, fluid flow rate or other detectible characteristics of the toilet. The processor uses information regarding the parameter that is gathered by the sensor to evaluate the condition of the flush cycle to determine if an impeded flush condition exists. In the event of an impeded flush condition, the processor directs the actuator to close a valve, which may be the toilet flapper valve in some embodiments. Also disclosed are methods for preventing toilet overflow, detecting an impeded flush condition and calibrating the system.
