Abstract: A golf club head joining method is provided, which utilizes a soldering joining process to assemble the golf club head. The joining method includes the steps of providing a first component and a second component, wherein the first and second components are made of metal materials; subsequently, the step of applying a coating of active metal or compounds suitable to be affixed with a soldering metal material on the first component and the second component; and the last step of finally joining the first component to the second component, enabling the two to become one. Therefore, the joining method enables the joining of the golf club head not to be restricted to the use of certain materials and enhances the joint strength without incurring additional costs or complicating the manufacturing process.

A tool in accordance with one embodiment includes a process chamber having a process location for processing microfeature workpieces, a support positioned to carry a microfeature workpiece at the process location, a transfer device movable relative to the support to move the microfeature workpieces to and from the support, and a magnet positioned adjacent to the process chamber to magnetically orient materials applied to the microfeature workpieces. The tool can include other features, including an enclosure positioned around the magnet to chemically isolate the magnet from chemicals delivered to and carried in the process chamber, a shield positioned between the magnet and the motion path of the transfer device, magnetically conductive return paths positioned proximate to the magnet, and/or shields positioned around the motors carried by the tool.

The method comprises forming a fuel cell (51) on a second substrate (12), wherein forming the fuel cell (51) comprises forming, on the substrate (12), a plurality of pedestals (48) including an anode (47) and a cathode (49) each comprising a porous metal (34); positioning an electrolyte (46) between the anode (47) and the cathode (49); and forming first metal contacts (52, 54) on the anode (47) and cathode (49). The fuel cell (51) is then removed from the rigid substrate (12).

Abstract: The invention concerns a method whereby components are arranged in a mounting device, outside an internal high-pressure forming press, in accordance with their position and their function, such that they are linked to one another. The mounting device comprises an upper part and a lower part including cavities identical to the cavities of the internal high pressure tool. Once the components have been installed, the mounting device is introduced in the internal high-pressure press, then the upper part or the lower part of the mounting device is withdrawn, the part of the mounting device remaining in the internal high-pressure press being displaced against the upper tool or the lower tool. For the forming process, the components are maintained in a part of the tool by depression or by clamping, then the part of the mounting device is removed from the internal high-pressure press, thereby ensuring high precision positioning of components. Additionally, the production rate is substantially increased.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a circuit board comprises following steps. First, a metal substrate is provided and an electrophoretic deposition procedure is performed thereon to form an insulation film on a surface of the metal substrate. Next, a plurality of holes is formed on the insulation film to expose parts of the metal substrate. Then, a circuit layer is fabricated on the insulation film to cover the above-mentioned holes, so that the circuit layer is connected to the metal substrate through the holes. Further, a process of lithography and etching is conducted to fabricate the metal substrate into another circuit layer. Therefore, a circuit board with two circuit layers is completed.

Abstract: A handle for hand held utensils or implements and more particularly to hand held utensils for eating and culinary purposes comprising a novel handle that facilitates the grasping of the said utensil or implement is disclosed. The said handle comprises a support for the internal and external parts of the user hand via an aperture in the center that surrounds the user hand. In an particular embodiment, the handle also provides two holding units connected to the lateral side of each one of the two supporting units that may be use to give further support to the user's hand if required by holding the hand to the handle by means of a supporting band made of velcro or similar material that is pass through the said holding units and around the user hand. Hand held utensils such as eating and culinary utensils having the described handle are disclosed.

A groove is defined along an outer periphery of the spacer plate and located between the first and second guide plates so as to receive the chain. The protrusions and recesses reinforce the structural strength of the guide bar and reduce the friction between the guide bar and the object to be cut.

Abstract: The invention is based on a machine tool, in particular a circular power saw, for machining a workpiece, having a covering (10) for guarding a user against machining residues of the workpiece that occur in operation and having an adjustable residue guide (12, 14) for carrying away at least some of the machining residues through an outlet opening in a defined direction in accordance with the position of the residue guide (12, 14). It is proposed that the residue guide is adjustable in such a way that in one position of the residue guide (12, 14), at least some of the machining residues are carried onward inside the covering (10).

Abstract: The current invention discloses an attachment system for a personal shaver that allows a standard razor to be attached to a shower head assembly and contacted with the water flow from the shower head. This allows for the razor to be warmed to a desired temperature by regulating the temperature of the water flow from the shower head. The resulting temperature controlled razor can be used for a soothing, comfortable and warm shave. The user also can save time by shaving while taking a shower. Additionally, the present invention is relatively inexpensive to manufacture and can be used with standard razors and current packaging being sold and used. The attachment system is comprised of a body member with a fist end capable of attaching to a shower assembly and a second end capable of attaching to a personal shaver.

A graduated scale may be applied to an exterior surface of the tool at a location near the apex.

The arrangement further includes a deflector before the open gap in the direction of travel of the dryer wire, which is arranged close to the dryer wire, in order to restrict the air layer travelling with the dryer wire, and thus to prevent the formation of an excess pressure in the closing throat.

The method of drying lumber includes: enclosing lumber in a batch container having a pressure release valve; filling fluid into the batch container under pressure; maintaining a temperature and a pressure at or above a critical point of the fluid for a certain period of time; and then opening the pressure release valve of the batch container to reduce the internal pressure to atmospheric pressure.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for drying a product comprising placing the product on a first side of a support surface, and directing dry radiant heat toward the second side of the surface to heat the product. A sensor can be included to measure at least one characteristic of the product, such as the temperature or moisture content thereof. The temperature of the heat source can be regulated as a function of the measured characteristic. The support surface can also be made so as to be movable relative to the heat source. In an alternative embodiment, a plurality of control zones are defined and through which the product is successively passed. Each of the control zones has at least one associated heat source and an associated sensor so as to regulate the temperature of the heat sources associated with each control zone independently of those associated with another zone.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for expeditious snowplow mounting in which a light beam source, such as a laser pointer, is used for aligning a vehicle to a target on the snowplow. The light beam source can be a laser pointer. The light beam source can be removably attached to a portion of the vehicle, such as a dashboard of the vehicle. The target preferably can be attached to the snowplow at a position above the hood of the vehicle substantially horizontal to the light beam source. For example, the target can be mounted to the back of a headlight of a snowplow system. Alternatively, a guide bar can extend vertically from the snowplow system to rise above the hood of the vehicle. The guide bar can serve as the target or a target can be attached to the guide bar.

The bracket assembly keeps the sign post stable but also allows for a clean break away upon impact.

Abstract: An improved presentation support system comprised of a multi-pocket display chart is presented. The chart has the additional features of a slot pocket that runs the length and width of the chart that accommodates a background poster, over which symbol and word cards can be placed in the pockets covering the front of the chart. The cards can illustrate the underlying poster. The chart can be hung in landscape or portrait orientations and an alternate embodiment includes a two-sided feature, where the first side is in landscape orientation and the other side is in portrait orientation.
