Abstract: An inclined sleeper assembly for an infant to reduce the risk of gastric and breathing complications during nursing and sleep. The assembly provides a non-slip surface whose angle of inclination can be varied from horizontal up to 30° or more. A rigid platform is pivotally attached to a base frame and may move from a position generally parallel with the base frame to a position of maximum inclination or any intermediate position. Supporting the inclined platform are a pair of slide rods pivotally connected to the base frame at one end and slidingly engaging two releasable clamps on an opposite end. The releasable clamp structure comprises a spring preferenced plate between the sliding clamp enclosures surrounding each of the two slide rods. This permits the user to adjust the inclination of the sleep surface with little disturbance to the infant.

The washing machine includes a controller controlling a speed of a motor in accordance with a weight of laundry contained in a rotating tub, upon wrapping the laundry at an initial stage of the spin-dry cycle. A gradient of the motor speed in a laundry wrapping process is determined, depending on the weight of the laundry. Accordingly, to greatly reduce a time prior to a main spin-dry process is possible, while preventing abnormal vibrations from being generated when a rotating speed of the rotating tub reaches a speed, at which resonance occurs.

Abstract: The cleaning system includes a plurality of generally dovetail-shaped slot blocks having a slot along a radial inner side, an abrasive media or belt and a backing tube. Upon insertion of the blocks into the dovetail slots of a rotor wheel and aligning the block slots with the cooling slot, the abrasive media and backing tube are inserted in the cooling slot tunnel. The abrasive media may extend through end feeder blocks. With the backing tube applying pressure radially outwardly against the abrasive media, back and forth motion applied manually from outboard of the rim of the rotor cleans the surfaces of the cooling slot without disassembly of the rotor.
