Abstract: A container that radiates far-infrared rays includes an airtight storage space for storing food, a far-infrared coating and multiple ceramic particles. The far-infrared coating is applied on an external wall of the container. The ceramic particles are spread in the far-infrared coating that radiates far-infrared rays. The far-infrared coating radiates far-infrared rays in a natural status with the ceramic particles. The storage space can be used to store solid food, soft drinks or the like, so as to prevent the food from bacteria propagation and also can keep fresh by the continuous radiation of the far-infrared rays. In this way, an expiry date of the food can be extended without adding excess preservatives. Moreover, the far-infrared rays radiated from the ceramic particles further can make water molecules active. Hence a tasting flavor of food is changed depending on different liquid food.

The process can weaken the further converting reaction of produced light olefins such as ethylene and propylene to 50-70% of the original level by injecting the inhibitor; thereby it can increase the yields of the target products.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided that includes: a containment system 208 having at least one sidewall and bottom that are substantially impermeable to a passage of water; a distribution system 124 to introduce an aqueous stream comprising nitrates into the containment system; a de-nitrification system 128 comprising a de-nitrification media, the media being contained within the containment system; a pump to pressurize the stream and cause the stream to pass through the de-nitrification media, thereby converting at least most of the nitrates into nitrogen gas and forming a treated stream; and a collection system 132 to remove the treated stream from the containment system.

Abstract: A facility for treating solid and liquid waste includes a receiving station, a screening station, a preprocessing station, a press station and a processing station. The screening station is connected to an inlet capable of receiving liquid and solid waste and includes a screen for capturing at least some of the solid waste. The preprocessing station is in fluid communication with the screening station, and includes a degrit chamber for settling out an additional amount of the solids. The press station included at least one alkali mixing tank and a screw press for separating out an additional portion of the solids. The processing station includes at least one aerobic microorganism generating unit for converting nitrites into nitrogen gas and consuming carbon-based waste material.

Abstract: A process for removing phosphorus from wastewater wherein an iron or aluminum salt is added to the wastewater. The iron or aluminum salt results in the precipitation of certain iron or aluminum species that include phosphorus adsorption sites. These iron or phosphorus species are settled and become a part of sludge produced in the course of the wastewater treatment process. By recycling substantial portions of the sludge, the concentration of these iron or aluminum species in the wastewater is increased. This increased concentration results in the presence of large quantities of unused phosphorus adsorption sites that attract and adsorb phosphorus, resulting in phosphorus being removed from the wastewater.

Abstract: Wastewater, in the form of a colloidal solution containing microparticles, is filtrated using a second filter, having a gel film that is formed by suction on the surface of a first filter. The suction pressure in this process is made extremely weak to maintain the filtration capacity while extending intervals prior to clogging of second filter. Furthermore, the gel that becomes adsorbed onto the surface of second filter can be separated readily from the surface of second filter by stopping the suction and filtration can be continued again thereafter.
