Abstract: A spiral gear having a body, a compound nut and a screw on which a keyway is made on the longitudinal direction. The nut has four or more inserts placed in the grooves made in the longitudinal direction and leaning against the inclined surfaces made at different heights in the same direction on the end parts of the bottoms of the grooves. The spiral support with the conical surface placed coaxial in the hole of the body leans against the conical surfaces made on the butt-ends of the inserts from one side and leans from the other side the imitator with the respective conical surface. On the other butt-end of the imitator are two small balls against two inclined spiral surfaces made in the direction of the screw which have the same height, and the spiral disk.

Abstract: An adjustable pedal system for changing the position of pedals along the crank arms of an exercise bike. The system provides a locking member, such as a rack, located along the crank arm and a locking member, such as one or more gear teeth formed on a slide sleeve to which the pedal is affixed. Thus the slide sleeve and pedal can be slid along the crank arm to the desired position whereupon the locking members intermesh to positively lock the pedal in the desired location. The intermeshing is maintained by a clamping device, such as a thumb screw that is tightened to lock the pedals in the desired location and loosened to disengage the locking members to allow the movement of the pedals to another location. The system can be operated without the need for tools and can be retrofitted to existing exercise bikes.

Abstract: The shoulder rest for a violin and a viola is formed in the manner that the basis of the shoulder rest (1) is partially rolled up in the opposite direction and that enables maximal adjustment to physiological characteristics of the violinist. The strain leg holder (2) is rotated for 180° C. in each direction in the way that the shoulder rest length is reduced from the functional shoulder rest length for one fourth.

Abstract: Provided is a string tuning mechanism that enables a musician to clamp and anchor a musical instrument string to a musical instrument tuning peg. The claimed subject matter enables the musician to put on and take off the strings of a stringed musical instrument easily and rapidly. The string attachment device also enables the installed musical instrument string to equalize to pitch faster than currently possible and enables a stringed musical instrument to remain in tune longer. The disclosed device is designed to fit easily against a tuning peg and to enable the musician to use the locking of the string to the peg technology without permanently changing the physical state of their musical instrument. Another purpose of the claimed subject matter is to provide a method and device that enables the musician to use the same strings he has always used, and not to have to buy special strings.

Abstract: A tone plate which makes it easy to reduce the entire length and width thereof, thus increasing the degree of freedom in design. The tone plate includes an antinode portion, front and rear ends, and first and second supporting holes which are located closer to the front and rear ends than to the antinode portion and at which a vibration node can be formed. There are provided first and second mass concentrating portions extending toward the front and rear ends from locations on a side close to the first and rear ends with respect to the supporting holes. First and second thinner portions are respectively provided between the antinode portion and the supporting holes. The tone plate vibrates to generate a musical tone of a specific tone pitch when struck with being supported at the supporting holes.

Abstract: A drum has a drum shell, a top head, a bottom head and a decorating piece. The drum shell has an outer surface, a top edge, a bottom edge and an annular recess. The top head is mounted at the top edge of the drum shell and the bottom head is mounted at the bottom edge of the drum shell. The annular recess is formed on the outer surface of the drum shell. The decorating piece is glued or screwed in the annular recess and is made of a material different from that of the drum shell. The decorating piece fits in the annular recess. Therefore, the drum shell with the decorating piece is a complex material structure, so the drum changes various resonance and artistic effects.

Abstract: A multiple-tipped drumming tool has 2-4 sticks each with a throughhole, joined together by a connector which passes through the throughhole such that the sticks are rotatable with respect to one another and can produce different tones with a musical instrument. The sticks may be connected by spring metals instead of such a connector. Instead of the connector, a fiber member may be passed through the throughholes of the sticks, being wrapped around the sticks such that the sticks are flexibly joined together.

Abstract: An automatic guitar tuning case is a tuning system to automatically, synchronously, accurately and rapidly turn a guitar. To automatically tune one string is not new, but automatically and synchronously tune an acoustic guitar or electrical guitar without modifying the guitar has never be done before. Changing one string's tension will cause all other strings' tension change, so all strings should be tuned synchronously and ended tuning together only when all strings are in tone at the same time. As a closed-loop control system, the automatic guitar tuning case comprises six transducers sensing the vibration frequency of six guitar strings respectively, six tuner units to analyze tones, and a center processor unit to control six electric tuning wrenches to tune the six guitar strings. The automatic guitar tuning case also consists of a control panel for a user to preset and select tuning patterns, control and monitor the system.

Abstract: A fluid pressure powered apparatus comprises a double-acting member, a first pilot valve, a second pilot valve, and a switchable valve is disclosed. The double-acting member is operable between a first stroke end and a second stroke end by fluid pressure from the switchable valve. The first and second pilot valves are configured to establish a biasing fluid pressure to first and second bias surfaces, respectively, of the switchable valve. The first and second pilot valves are actuatable by the double-acting member when at the first and second stroke ends, respectively, to reduce the biasing fluid pressure on the first bias surface. In operation, the reduction of biasing fluid pressure on either the first bias surface or the second bias surface, respectively, triggers the switchable valve to switch between a first stroke position and a second stroke position, respectively. A method of reciprocating a fluid pressure powered apparatus is also disclosed.
