Publication number: 20100116622Abstract: A machine arrangement that operates on a plurality of articles, such as bottles, includes a plurality of machines arranged in a machine arrangement. At least one of the machines includes an apparatus configured to modify the articles by at least one of moving, holding, manipulating and shaping the articles as they pass from an article infeed to an article discharge of the machine arrangement. A recirculation mechanism moves articles from a downstream machine after a first pass (or run) and recirculates the articles back to an upstream machine in a second (recirculation) pass (or run) so that the articles, which are recirculated through the second pass are again subjected to a different machine modifying operation in at least one machine that the articles have previously passed in the first pass. The articles move continuously through the first and second passes while being subjected to at least one machine modifying operation.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2010Publication date: May 13, 2010Inventors: Joseph G. Publication number: 20100116623Abstract: A transmission device for thin and brittleness substrate is disclosed, which comprises: a plurality of transportation rollers and a plurality of pinch rollers. Each transportation roller further comprises: a rigid spindle; and a plurality of elastic supporting wheels, mounted on the spindle. Each pinch roller comprises: a sleeve; a spindle, ensheathed in the sleeve; and a plurality of pressing wheels, mounted on the sleeve at positions corresponding to the supporting wheels. When the transportation rollers are driven to rotate, a substrate sandwiched between the supporting wheels and the pressing wheels will be push to move while subjecting to a friction originated from a sufficient holding force by the supporting wheels and the pressing wheels, and consequently, providing an improved buffering capability for deformation absorption that enables the transmission device to guide the thin substrate to move smoothly without causing buckling or scratching to the thin substrate.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 8, 2009Publication date: May 13, 2010Applicant: INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH INSTITUTEInventors: Chen-Chung Du, Kang-Feng Lee, Muh-Wang Liang, Chan-Hsing Lo, Tung-Chuan Wu

Publication number: 20100116625Abstract: A mechanical interface for transferring a reciprocating movement from one element to another element releasably mountable thereto. The interface comprises at least three interface points, at least two of which being laterally spaced apart, and at least two of which being longitudinally spaced apart. Motion means provides a reciprocating movement, which is transferred from the one element to the other element via at least one of the interface points. The interface point(s) transferring the movement comprises contact portions having curved contact surfaces, such that the curved contact surfaces are in abutment with opposing contact surfaces of the interface point when the elements are mounted, thereby transferring the reciprocating movement.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2008Publication date: May 13, 2010Applicant: MYDATA AUTOMATION ABInventors: Andreas Larsson, Martin Dahlberg, Robert Axelsson, Kristofer Karlsson
