Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly for a machine for preparing beverages by infusion of a liquid, that includes a holder (10), a boiler (20) for heating the liquid for producing beverages, assembling element (21 a,21 b, 25) provided so as to selectively allow the connection and removable disconnection of the boiler on the holder (10), a first fluid communication element connected to the boiler (20) and a second fluid communication element connected to a fluid inlet circuit and/or a fluid outlet circuit, the first and second fluid communication element being adapted to interact in order to provide fluid communication between the boiler and a fluid inlet circuit and/or fluid outlet circuit, characterised in that it is adapted so that the connection and the disconnection between the boiler (20) and the holder (10) respectively enables and disables the interaction between the first and second fluid communication element.

Abstract: A motorised toaster with heating elements has a user input that communicates with an electronic device that controls an electric motor. A reciprocating toast carriage is under the influence of the motor. A user activated control is adapted to cause an inspection subroutine, the subroutine being the motorised elevation of the carriage and without further user input and a returning of the carriage to the lower position during a toast cycle.

Abstract: The current invention teaches a cooking structure with unique abilities of frying, staging, draining and warming foods. This cooking device comprises an oil reservoir, a staging/draining flange, and a warming flange. The cooking structure further includes a cooking stand/burner structure with quick release removable legs & support arms with safety locking connections which lock onto the said cooking device. The invention also has a uniquely designed safety plate in cases where users may cook with the cooking device on a stand that they may already have in their possession. Understanding this creates a potentially unsafe cooking situation, we invented the safety plate. This safety plate employs the adjustable safety locking connections to “lock” the safety plate onto an existing burner and “lock” the cooking device onto the safety plate. This invention allows for the safe operation of the cooking device with other stands/burners and still maintains the integrity of the cooking device.

Abstract: The present invention is a mat that drapes over a transom or other barbeque area on a boat. The primary objective of the current invention is to keep transom, caulk, and upholstery on boats clean from splats and splatter caused during on board barbequing. Another objective of the invention is to provide a place to securely store barbeque accoutrements when using barbeque on a boat. The mat is placed over the barbeque area prior to barbequing. The mat can easily be folded and stowed.

The apparatus further includes a retainer positionable on a top surface of the food mass having passageways permitting the cutting members to pass through a portion thereof. The apparatus may include a cleaning plate receivable by portions of the holder in a position below the food mass, the cleaning plate being removable from the holder to remove food matter from between the support portions. The apparatus may include a lock for securing apparatus in a closed or lowest position for storage.

Abstract: A method for processing unseparated egg shells is provided. The method includes placing the unseparated egg shells in a fluid tank containing a fluid mixture, applying cavitation to the fluid mixture to thereby assist in separating the egg shell membranes from the egg shells, and recovering the egg shell membranes. Preferably, the fluid mixture is recirculated to thereby provide for continuous processing of unseparated egg shells. The method may further include drying the egg shell membranes to produce dried egg shell membranes which may then be vacuum packaged for storage and/or transport. The dried egg shell membranes may then be subjected to an extraction process for extracting at least one type of polypeptide from the egg shell membranes. Collagen, hyaluronic acid, or amino acids of interest may be extracted from the egg shell membrane and purified for numerous uses.

Abstract: A self-sealing stamping device suitable for use with non-alcohol based inks is described. The stamping device includes an applicator that has raised features for providing a stamped design. The applicator also includes sealing features that mate with sealing features on an inkpad housing to provide one or more airtight seals therebetween. The inkpad housing provides an enclosure for an inkpad with one or more apertures. Sealing features are provided circumscribing the apertures for mating with sealing features of the applicator. In a closed position, the stamping device provides an airtight enclosure for the inkpad comprised of the inkpad housing and the applicator.

Abstract: An apparatus for remote detection or neutralization of an explosively formed penetrator device. A LIDAR or LADAR unit may be used in conjunction with a RADAR unit to both detect the presence of an EFP and neutralize the EFP having an associated passive infrared sensor. The LIDAR unit's wavelength is selected to approximate the signature from the intended EFP target which then causes the safe remote detonation of the EFP. The detected EFP signature may be compared with known signatures and presented to a user via a display terminal. The display terminal may also present associated terrain or GPS data.

Abstract: The networked electronic ordnance system connects a number of pyrotechnic devices to a bus controller using lighter and less voluminous cabling, in a more efficient network architecture, than previously possible. Each pyrotechnic device contains an initiator, which includes a pyrotechnic assembly and an electronics assembly. One or more pyrotechnic devices each contain a logic device having a unique identifier. The pyrotechnic devices are individually controlled by the bus controller by addressing the unique identifier of each logic device. Each pyrotechnic device preferably includes an energy reserve capacitor which stores firing energy upon arming. Both digital and analog fire control conditions are provided before an armed pyrotechnic device can be fired. A plurality of initiators and/or other components of the system may be packaged together on a single substrate and networked together via that substrate.

The second chamber is partially filled with seawater defining a water-gas interface at a first position inside the second chamber. Then, the buoyancy structure is moved to a second, greater depth. Water enters the second chamber to raise the water-gas interface to a second, higher level and without entering the first chamber. Subsequently, the buoyancy of the structure is adjusted to tension the cable, a support structure to support a load is attached to the structure, and then the buoyancy of the structure is readjusted.

An acoustic sound wave generator includes an acoustic duct chambering system associated throughout with the monolithic rigid housing member. The acoustic sound wave generator receives compressed air from the compressor member to produce sound and propagate the same externally. A horn mounting system enables ready attachment of the system to a consumer-desired surface: mechanically, magnetically, adhesively, or via any other known attachment or mounting system. Optional weather and water resistant systems prohibit unintended water access to the electric horn system enabling use of the system in exposed weather conditions for improved user convenience.
