In general, a method according to the present invention comprises: (1) providing a flexible plastic substrate; (2) depositing a multi-layered conductive metallic film on the flexible plastic substrate by a thin-film deposition technique to form a composite film; and (3) collecting the composite film in continuous rolls. Typically, the thin conductive metallic film is an InCeO—Ag—InCeO film. Typically, the thin-film deposition technique is DC magnetron sputtering. Another aspect of the invention is a composite film produced by a method according to the present invention.

Next, a field area is formed and a transistor is formed by following specific steps. By forming a trench liner oxide film containing nitrogen, stress is reduced.

    Abstract: A method of forming a planarized photoresist coating on a substrate having holes with different duty ratios is described. A first photoresist preferably comprised of a Novolac resin and a diazonaphthoquinone photoactive compound is coated on a substrate and baked at or slightly above its Tg so that it reflows and fills the holes. The photoresist is exposed without a mask at a dose that allows the developer to thin the photoresist to a recessed depth within the holes. After the photoresist is hardened with a 250° C. bake, a second photoresist is coated on the substrate to form a planarized film with a thickness variation of less than 50 Angstroms between low and high duty ratio hole regions. One application is where the second photoresist is used to form a trench pattern in a via first dual damascene method. Secondly, the method is useful in fabricating MIM capacitors.

The web (94) can be engaged with the surface by passing over a number of idler rollers (98) positioned between the supply roller (56) and take-up roller (58). The biasing mechanism (82) is designed to bias the movement of the web (94) onto the take-up roller (58), such that the mechanism (82) can be selectively operated to advance the web (94) from the supply roller (56) to the take-up roller (58) to expose a clean section of the adhesive sheet material (94).

    Abstract: A combination tool having utility in tile installation procedures includes a wide blade adapted to remove excess grout and caulk in relatively large quantities, a four-armed cement remover and grout joint spacer, a spherical grout packer and a “V”-shaped grout and caulk profiler adapted to be secured to a hollow handle in varying combinations. In a first embodiment, the wide blade is attached to a first end of the handle and the four-armed cement remover-grout joint spacer and the spherical packer are releasably secured to a second end of the handle. A second embodiment includes the blade at the first end and the “V”-shaped profiler at the second end in lieu of the cement remover and packer. The hollow handle provides a storage compartment for additional packers. The tool may be made of material that floats in water. The handle may also have a non-hollow web construction.

A base portion is removably attached to the handle, which includes rotation engagement means adapted to interact with the cartridge for rotational engagement, alignment and selection of the chamber and visa vie the inter-dental brush housed therein. An oral portion is removably attached to the other end of the handle, and includes an aperture for feeding out the selected inter-dental brush. A delivery means in association with the handle and the oral portion is provided and is adapted to feed out the selected inter-dental brush. Used, worn out brush is removed or cut off by an optional slidable cutter provided on the brush device.

It is essential here to the invention that the wiper mechanism has a first L-shaped pivot arm and a second L-shaped pivot arm which are respectively mounted rotatably in a fixed position at their elbows and are mounted rotatably, at their limbs on the wiper side, on an inner parallel wiper arm. Furthermore, an outer parallel wiper arm which is connected to the inner parallel wiper arm and bears the wiper blade is arranged on the inner parallel wiper arm. The two pivot arms are driven by the wiper motor to which they are connected in terms of drive at their limbs on the drive side.

    Abstract: A retractable hose assembly for a central vacuum system includes a PVC conduit mounted behind a wall within at least one room on each floor of a building. The conduit includes an elbow at a lower end that extends to the outlet of a wall-mounted vacuum receptacle. Received within the conduit is an elongated, length-extendable hose formed of helical spring wire encompassed by a flexible layer. The helical wire allows the hose to be manually extended to approximately six times its collapsed length. When the hose is released, it retracts completely within the conduit with its inlet concealed behind the wall-mounted receptacle. By simply pulling the hose from the conduit, a user can extend it significantly to access one or more rooms on a given level.

A fin may be added to one or more of the flutes to provide auxiliary structure for resisting rotation.
