  • Patent number: 7811036
Abstract: A load anchor has a support 103 with an upper surface. A tongue 105 with an aperture 113 for receipt of a tie down strap is pivotable relative to the support 103 from a first position wherein the tongue 105 is substantially flush with the upper surface of the support 103 to a second position extending above the support so that the aperture 113 is exposed. The load anchor may have a lever arrangement 111 accessible through the aperture 113 in the tongue when the tongue is in the first position, so that downward force applied to part of the lever arrangement 111 through the aperture 113 pivots the lever arrangement 111 which lifts the tongue 105 from the first position. • Patent number: 7811049
Abstract: A flow control arrangement is provided for a gas turbine engine in which an inlet slot is positioned prior to a stationary structure such as a stator or pylon in order that air flow is bled or removed from a mainflow. The removed air passes through a passage duct and is re-injected through an outlet nozzle with an askew angle consistent with an angle of rotor blades of a turbine. • Patent number: 7811064
Abstract: A variable displacement reciprocating pump with pumping rate that is adjustable from zero to maximum stroke while the pump is running. Stroke is varied by changing relative position of pairs of eccentric inner and outer cams that drive the pump's plungers. • Patent number: 7811073
Abstract: The invention relates to a blow head for producing blown tubular films from thermoplastic materials. Films produced by conventional blow heads often have dull strips or wavy areas, the so-called spiral strips. The aim of the invention is to avoid these negative film properties. For this purpose, the blow head comprises a plurality of annular gap-shaped melt channels arranged concentrically around the center axis of the blow head, the spiral distributor of the inner melt channel being arranged on the inner limiting wall in relation to the center axis of the blow head and the spiral distributor of the outer melt channel being arranged on the outer limiting wall in relation to the center axis of the blow head.

Abstract: A food extruder including a barrel provided at one end with an outlet from which the food substance can be extruded, a rotatable screw positioned within the barrel that is capable of being rotated and moved longitudinally within the barrel, a handle member at a top end of the rotatable screw for manual engagement, and a rod member protruding from an upper portion of the handle member for insertion into a drill chuck. The rod member, in a preferred embodiment, has a hexagonal cross section, which facilitates insertion and securement within a drill chuck, so that the drill may be used to turn the rotatable screw, rather than having to turn it manually. Additionally, a hand grip member may be attached to the barrel member at a generally right angle thereto, so that a user may grip the hand grip while using the drill to turn the rotatable screw, in order to prevent the entire extruder from rotating.

Abstract: There is provided a stamper on which stamper-side concave/convex patterns are formed and which is capable of manufacturing an information recording medium on which at least servo patterns are formed by concave/convex patterns. First convex parts that are continuously formed along a direction corresponding to a radial direction of the information recording medium are formed in the stamper-side concave/convex patterns. Each of the first convex parts is formed so that a height of a part of the first convex part from a reference plane, which is set between a front surface and a rear surface of the stamper, to protruding end of the first convex part increases as a length of the part of the first convex part in a direction corresponding to a circumferential direction of the information recording medium increases.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an injection unit, in particular for an injection molding machine, comprising a screw which is guided in a plastication cylinder in a rotatable and axially movable manner and via which plastic material undergoes plastication and can be injected into a tool cavity. The screw is driven via an electric drive including an electric motor and is operatively connected to a support cylinder having a pressure chamber to which dynamic and/or support pressure can be applied during plastication and injection. The electric motor is coupled to a hydrostatic machine which during plastication is driven by the pressure medium displaced from the pressure chamber and which during injection conveys pressure medium into the pressure chamber so as to build up support pressure.

  • Patent number: 7811083
Abstract: The invention has as subject matter a rotary tube, especially for a rotary tube kiln for the production of carbon, with several mixing elements arranged in the inner space of the rotary tube for a thorough mixing of a charged material. The rotary tube comprises a transitional area from a smaller inside cross section to a larger inside cross section of the rotary tube. The mixing elements are formed in the transitional area and/or are arranged in such a manner that the charged material is transported during operation by the mixing elements toward the smaller inside cross section. The result is an excellent thorough axial mixing and blending of the charged material, which results in an increased homogeneity of the activated carbon produced.
