Abstract: Disclosed is a welding mask including a mask body for covering an entire face of a wearer having an opening portion corresponding to eyes of the wearer thereof; a rotatable cover rotationally coupled to a front of the mask body upward and downward; a shading filter mounted on the rotatable cover so as to shade a light generated during welding operation thereof; an elastic coupling means for rotationally coupling the rotatable cover to both side surfaces of the mask body upward; and a fixing means for fixing the rotatable cover or releasing a fixing status thereof formed at one side of the mask body. Also, a window is further formed at the rear portion of the rotatable cover having the shading filter, thereby improving operation efficiency.

Abstract: A method and system is provided for substantially protecting a piece of clothing from staining by dyes that may transfer and stain from another piece of clothing. The method and system include a multilayered sheet of protective guard that has substantially dye proof outer layer that adheres to a piece of clothing such as an inside cuff. This substantially protects the transfer of dyes, such as indigo dyes, between the clothing and a second piece of clothing.

The reversible pocket wrap is made of a base piece of stretchable material such that the reversible pocket wrap fits well to a subject around body parts. The pocket is preferably in square shape disposed in an angle such that two lower edges are closed to form a v-shaped container to hold articles. An opening to the pocket is on the outside of the garment. A reversed opening is on the inside of the garment such that the pocket is accessible from the outside when the garment is reversed. The reversible pocket wrap is worn about the head and/or the neck. The reversible pocket wrap is used as a pocket, a band, a warmer, a scarf, a visor, etc.

In some embodiments the cap includes a washer, nut and 0.25 inch diameter 20 thread count per inch bolt or screw. That is the material of the brim, preferable a plastic, is constructed with the screw so that the brim and screw are one piece.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sock for use during and after a pedicure comprising: a bootie portion, where said bootie encloses the heel, sole and portion of the top of the foot; a drawstring enclosed around the perimeter of the insertion opening of the bootie portion; a plurality of toe openings, where the toe openings expose the toes of the wearer; toe dividers between each of the toe openings; and toe cushions on the upper portion of each toe opening. The drawstring may be exposed at the heel portion of the bootie to allow for tightening thereof. The present invention enhances the pedicure experience by protecting the foot and extending the benefits of costly lotions and pedicures. After all, often feet are sensitive after being exfoliated and scrubbed, especially if razors are used for extracting calluses.

A decorative section or a figure layers is adhered to the second section. The first and second sections together form a helmet subassembly. The helmet subassembly is placed in a mold and integrally bonded with a buffer material or foam material filler to form a helmet assembly.

In some embodiments, at least one protective layer is formed with a liquid crystal polymer fiber. Abstract: A combination of a compression garment and a custom fitted armor plate is disclosed that protects a specific body part of a wearer. The compression garment is formed with at least one compartment for receiving and supporting the custom fitted body armor plate against the wearer's body part to be protected. The compression garment conforms to the wearer's body and the compression features of the garment tightly press the armor against the wearer's body thereby maintaining the armor in precise position during active and/or sometimes violent sporting and athletic activities.

Abstract: The splash prevention urinal apparatus is designed whereby urine impacts the contact wall at a 60 degree angle, thereby directing flow and any potential splash to the stop wall, the rounded corner, and the splash wall. The angle prevents urine splash back toward the front of the apparatus. By negating urine splash, the apparatus encourages a user to stand closely and thereby prevents urine spill on the floor of a facility. The abbreviated size potential of the apparatus, along with the hollow formed between the top, bottom, back wall, side wall, front wall, and contact wall reduces material costs.

Abstract: This invention is directed towards a patient single surface system, PS3, which is a next generation system solution for patient accommodation, diagnosis, treatment, transfer and transport. PS3 provides a single surface for the patient to remain on from the trauma site through diagnosis, treatment and convalescence. Needs addressed by the PS3 system include improved patient treatment through reduction in time to treatment, reduced or eliminated unnecessary patient movement and injury, as well as improved comfort throughout treatment and convalescence. In addition, the PS3 system solves significant economic considerations.

Abstract: A transport apparatus includes a movable base, a sling, and a support frame mounted to the base. The frame extends over the base and is configured to move from a position spaced above the base at a first height wherein the frame may be extended over and proximate a support surface for engaging the sling when placed on the surface to another position spaced at a height greater than the first height after engagement with the sling. The sling is adapted to be engaged by the frame, which provides lateral support to the sling, wherein when the frame and sling are raised to the greater height the sling is raised above the surface so that a person supported on the sling may be lifted off the surface with the sling and the frame and supported in a stabilized sitting position so that the person can moved away from the surface.

Abstract: This invention presents a foldable cot. The foldable cot includes a foldable frame and a flexible sheet having a generally rectangular shape. The peripheral portions of the flexible sheet are secured to the foldable frame. The foldable frame has two-pairs of hingedly connected longitudinal bars, which allows the foldable frame to be folded in a longitudinal direction. A middle support structure is mounted to the hinge connectors. The middle support structure includes a pair of crossbars having a general X-shape. Upper ends of the crossbars are pivotably connected to the hinge connectors. There is provided a pair of vertical poles connecting the upper ends and lower ends of the crossbars, respectively. The vertical poles are extendible between a retracted position and an extended position, which allows the X-shaped crossbars to have a scissors-like motion so that the foldable frame can be folded in a transverse direction.
