Abstract: An improved sleeping eyelid cover that blocks a significant portion of light from entering a closed eye by way of the eyelid and allows uninhibited sight. The eyelid cover is safe and comfortable and conceived to be used as a sleep aid. The front side (14) and back side (16) of the eyelid cover are made of a flexible material that enables the eyelid cover to fold into (or out from) the ocular cavity and allow uninhibited sight for the wearer by the wearer opening his/her eyes. The eyelid cover attaches to the eye be way of adhesive which may be applied to the back side (16) of the cover in any number of configurations including small adhesive dots (18). Further, the eyelid cover may be composed of numerous layers of material to aid in blocking light.

The attachment system includes a first right side connector attached to the first portion of the hood and a second right side connector attached to the garment adjacent in use the first right side connector. The attachment system also includes a first left side connector attached to the second portion of the hood and a second left side connector attached to the garment adjacent in use the first left side connector. The first right and left connectors are attachable to the second right and left connectors by magnetism.

Abstract: A safety apparatus for a person includes a harness and jacket worn by the person. The harness includes a dorsal ring and the jacket includes a dorsal opening aligned with the dorsal ring. A safety line can be attached to the dorsal ring without interfering with the operation of the jacket. The jacket is repeatably moveable between positions covering and uncovering the harness so that the jacket can be replaced with another one without removing the harness.

The functional stretch laminate fabric is provided with at least one functional element which can conduct electricity, conduct light, provide electromagnetic fields or provide shielding from electromagnetic fields. In addition, at least one via is provided in the functional stretch laminate allowing the functional element to extend or loop outwardly from the at least one via when the laminate is in a relaxed or unstretched state. Generally, the functional stretch laminate fabric is sufficiently robust for incorporation into garments and for applications in so-called wearable electronics.

The drainage surface that collects water and guides it to the drainage opening of the shower tray is created from a material block having at least one plane-parallel surface by way of a material removal machining method. The drainage surface is produced in one operation using a program-controlled three-dimensional machining method, wherein the edge region of the shower tray transitions continuously into the drainage surface at least in the entrance and exit region thereof. This very convenient machining method can be used to configure the surface of the shower bottom, in one uninterrupted operation, in various shapes and without any shoulder whatsoever.

Abstract: A bed lifting system for lifting a bed comprises a bed lifting mechanism and a switch remotely located from the bed lifting mechanism. The switch is adapted to enable selective and remote actuation of the bed lifting mechanism. The mechanism can be provided in kit form through the use of frame connectors which can also improve the interconnection and interoperability of frame members of the mechanism. The mechanism may also comprise adjustable lands to accommodate varying bed types.

Abstract: A method for removing microorganisms and small insects from fabric or animal's hair comprising applying and removing an adhesive composition comprising at least one adhesive polymer and a plasticizer, wherein the amounts of this plasticizer range from about 5 to about 45% by weight of the total weight of the wet adhesive composition. The adhesive composition used in the method of the invention thanks to the presence of high plasticizer concentrations are very fluid to allow said micro-organisms or small insects to be removed and, at the same time, they leave no residue on the fabric, or animal's hair. The present invention further relates to adhesive compositions to be used in the method of the invention further containing active ingredients which are released from the adhesive composition during the step of removing the organisms from the fabric or the animal's hair.
