Abstract: A compressor incorporated with an oil separator having a separation chamber and communication holes. The separation chamber is placed adjacent to a discharge chamber, has a space formed in the entire inside of the separation chamber, separates oil-containing gas, which is introduced into the separation chamber, into gas and oil by centrifugal separation, allows the separated oil to drop downward, and upwardly extracts the separated gas. The communication holes interconnect the discharge chamber and the separation chamber and introduce the oil-containing gas, coming from the discharge chamber, into the separation chamber. The communication holes are arranged in the separation chamber, in a direction extending from a gas release side to an oil drop side. The structure of an oil separation section is simplified to improve productivity and reduce cost, and a high degree of design freedom of the position of a discharge port is obtained.

An asphalt cement composition in accordance with one aspect of the present invention has an asphalt binder combined with an agglomerates filler formed from pyrolized carbonaceous material. The agglomerates filler material is generally about 1% to about 20% of the weight of the mixture of the agglomerates filler and the asphalt binder. The asphalt composition also includes an aggregate material that is mixed with the asphalt binder and the agglomerates filler. The end result is a lower cost asphalt composition that exhibits greater long range durability.

Abstract: A Portable Computer Table with Clear Reading and Writing Surface provides a clear planar support with cooling slots for a computer. A clear elevated horizontal work space above the computer holds work materials and provides a writing surface. Clear vertical supports work with the clear elevated horizontal work space to restrain access to the user interface of the computer from third parties like children and pets. A small footprint space is designed for the computer user who desires to have the flexibility to work in small spaces while still retaining noncomputer workspace in close proximity to the computer. Indented edges on the planar bases reduce blind spots and improve access to the user interface of the portable computer. Access openings allow users to access peripheral ports and drives. The assembly has optional hinged sides so the assembly can collapse to take up less space during storage.

Interlocks pertaining to the safe operation of a combustion furnace are classified as a 1st interlock pertaining to the safe operation of the overall combustion furnace, a 2nd interlock pertaining to the combustion environment of a combustion zone and a 3rd interlock pertaining to the combustion of a burner. Whereby, a common control module judges the state of the 1st interlock and controls the overall operation of the combustion furnace; a combustion zone control module, receiving a control signal from the common control module, operates to judge the state of the 2nd interlock and prepare the combustion environment for the combustion zone; and a burner control module, receiving a control signal from the combustion zone control module, operates to judge the state of the 3rd interlock and control the operation of the burner.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an installation for generating effective energy by gasifying waste. In the method and installation, waste such as garbage is introduced into a shaft-type melting gasifier, is dried in a reverse flow, is degassed, and is gasified while the solid residue is melted. The hot crude gases that are withdrawn from the melting gasifier (15) are fed to a hot gas steam generator (18) in which steam is admixed to the hot gas and the hot gas-steam mixture is conducted across the double turbine rotor (18.13) of a turbine (18.3) that drives a power generator (18.4), a preliminary reaction taking place at the same time. The pre-purified hot gas-steam mixture is then introduced into a downflow device (38) in which the mixture is cooled and pre-purified using sprayed water mixed with reactant and by repeatedly expanding, compressing, and foaming the mixture, the pre-purified gas being withdrawn and the liquid being collected.
