Abstract: A prior art sucker rod tong is improved to remove a coupling completely from a sucker rod assembly comprising sucker rods joined end to end by couplings. The prior art sucker rod tong has a rotatable jaw assembly and a lower backup wrench adapted to cooperate to unscrew a coupling joining first and second rods, where the coupling remains screwed to the second rod after it is unscrewed from the first rod. The improvement comprises a coupling extractor for unscrewing the coupling from the second rod so that the coupling can be replaced. The coupling extractor comprises a shaft having an extractor end portion on each end of the shaft and a shield around each extractor end portion, wherein the coupling extractor is designed and sized to fit within and to be rotated by the jaw assembly. The extractor end portion engages the inside wall of the coupling to unscrew the coupling from the second rod. The extractor end portion is preferably a tapered, left-handed spiral fluted easy-out extractor.

Abstract: One end of a wrench is a first measurement system, such as SAE, and the second end is another measurement system, such as metric, that is close in size to the first end. It is possible to know approximately the correct size wrench needed but not the measurement system. Having two measurement systems in a single tool allows a user to pick a single wrench and have a high probability that one end of the wrench will correctly fit the nut or bolt. The end may be any type of socket, such as open ended or box ended, and the box end may be supplied with a ratchet mechanism. The combination of a first measurement system and a second measurement system on each end, close in size to one another, the ratcheting box end and the ability to reverse the ratchet action direction greatly reduces time and effort in the removal and tightening of bolts and nuts.

Abstract: A marine water separating fuel filter includes a connecting tube head, an upper lid, a filter element, and a container. The filter element is accommodated in the container and sealed by the upper lid. The upper lid has a gear ring to engage with an alveolus ring provided on an axial trough of the filter element. An axial rod of the connecting tube head is screwed to the axial trough. The connecting tube head has a pressing ring to hold against a washer, providing a sealing function. The gas from an inlet end is filtered with the filter element and then expelled through an outlet end. Oily water flows to the central bottom of the container due to a curved section at a lower end of the container. An indication ring is provided on the hollow taper post to indicate the height of liquid. This is an easy and quick way to assemble and disassemble the filter element, providing environmental and economical purposes.
