Abstract: A sound generation control apparatus defines a loop region indicating progression of time along lengthwise of the loop region, and displays in the loop region a music data image corresponding to music data to be generated as time progresses, such that progression of the music data corresponds to the lengthwise position of the loop region. The sound generation control apparatus outputs time information indicating a time that progresses from a start of generation of music sound. The sound generation control apparatus controls the generation of the music sound based on the music data corresponding to the music data image and according to a relationship between a lengthwise position of the loop region determined by the time information and a displayed location of the music data image in the loop region.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable preamplifier for musical instruments which is particularly useful for electric guitars. The preamplifier has a body which houses an electronic system for amplifying and shaping the frequency spectrum of signals from the guitar and a battery for supplying power to the electronic system. A short, shielded input audio cable is permanently attached to the preamplifier body, is electrically coupled to the electronic system input, and terminates in an input phone plug. The preamplifier is also provided with an output phone jack. The preamplifier is portable and can be physically attached to a guitar strap or to the musician's clothing. When the input phone plug is inserted into a guitar output jack and an instrument cable is inserted into the preamplifier output phone jack, amplified and spectrally shaped signals from the guitar can be delivered via the instrument cable to a guitar amplifier/loudspeaker, mixing board, or other audio signal device.

Abstract: A single pintle arm-based structure is provided for mounting a machine gun on the exterior of a helicopter fuselage on the frame of or adjacent a gunner's cabin area side wall opening such as a window or door. The mounting structure permits horizontal pivotal motion of the single pintle arm and gun among lockable service, stowed, crew-served and full forward positions. The gun and the mounting structure, in their stowed position, are disposed externally of the helicopter, thereby permitting of the fuselage side wall opening, with the pintle arm being pivotable about an axis external to the fuselage.
