Abstract: System, device and method for providing screened protection to gutters from clogging debris. Protection is provided by using a panel that includes rain siphoning louvered technology. The louvers may be covered by a filter or screen. If the openings of the louvers are closed to a certain degree, a screen may be dispensed with. The panel is sloped such that debris rolls off a surface of the panel. Additionally, the louvered portion may be domed. The panel ends on one side in a locking mechanism that locks to an outer lip of the gutter and on the other side in a corrugated edge that fits under the overhang of the roof such that it need not be inserted under the shingles.

Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide an air filter medium having a lower pressure drop and higher efficiency as compared to an air filter medium currently in use. This objective is achieved by providing an air filter medium characterized by comprising glass short fibers as its main fibers in which the constituent fibers are dispersed uniformly and, when the constituting fibers at a diluted concentration of 0.04% by mass are allowed to stand for 12 hours, the sedimentation volume is 450 cm3/g or greater.

The gradual engagement system causes a clutch pulley to rotate around a clutch arm when an engagement tensile force is applied by an engagement spring. The engagement spring is attached to a pivot arm which is also connected to the clutch arm. The gradual engagement system allows the clutch arm to be pressed against a drive belt in a gradual fashion, providing for a smooth engagement of the various components of the power equipment.

Abstract: A method for the operation of a particulate filter system for an internal combustion engine wherein an. An exhaust gas stream enters a housing via a gas inlet opening. The housing receives a particulate filter, the stream flows into crude gas ducts connected to the gas inlet opening, and the stream can flow out of the particulate filter via clean gas ducts that are in fluid connection with a gas outlet opening, and are separated from the crude gas ducts. The crude gas ducts are connected to a connecting space in the direction of flow, and the connecting space has an exhaust port controlled by a closing mechanism. According to the invention, a method for operating an open particulate filter system is provided, by which the degree of separation of the soot particles from the exhaust gas can be increased.
