Abstract: A cover-type containing structure for flexible enclosures primarily includes a front cover sheet, a rear cover sheet and a flexible enclosure. The front cover sheet includes a first joining edge and a cover piece, whereas the rear cover sheet includes a cover assembly corresponding to the cover piece. The flexible enclosure includes a second joining edge and by engaging the first joining edge with the second joining edge, the front cover sheet and the flexible enclosure are fixed. Besides, the containing structure further includes a holding portion. Under a contained state, the holding portion is used to contain smaller objectives; whereas, in an unfolded state, in addition to using the flexible enclosure to contain larger objectives, the holding portion can be also used to contain smaller objectives. The present invention can be also applied to a piece of clothing combined with a bag unit or other flexible enclosure.

The package includes first and second portions, each having thereon an polarized interference region with non-parallel planes of polarization. All or part of the second package portion is transparent to one polarization, permitting the polarized interference region on the first package portion to interact with a polarized interference region on the second package portion. The package portions are mated together (e.g., in a tube and sleeve arrangement or the like), such that the polarized regions are aligned and overlap each other when the package is closed, thereby permitting less light through due to the two overlapping planes of polarization. As the package is opened (or closed), the polarized regions move or slide past each other, creating the visual effect by changing the size and shape of the overlapping polarized region.

Abstract: A water purification system for continuously disinfecting water in a holding tank that provides uniform mixing and increased residence time. The system comprises a double disinfectant tank for potable water, comprising an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank being located wholly within and in the lower portion of the outer tank. The water and disinfectant inlet feeds water directly into the inner tank through a tube extending into the inner tank. The inner tank is sealed off from the outer tank except for limited openings located primarily in the lower half of the inner tank wall. The inlet tube preferably extends at least about 50% of the height of the inner tank, to a point above the location of the limited openings in the lower half of the inner tank. This results in better mixing, especially when the flow through the limited openings is high enough to create turbulent flow, and greater residence time compared to baffled tanks.

The container is formed by blow molding, using a mold that incorporates a shaping feature projected longitudinally into the mold cavity. The shaping feature incorporates an arrangement of longitudinal channels having a channel width such that when a thermoplastic preform is expanded into contact with the mold cavity walls and the shaping feature, portions of the expanded preform span the channels and cooperate with the channels to provide passages that accommodate pressurized air to facilitate separation of the expanded preform from the shaping feature. The same portions of the expanded preform can partially protrude into the channels, thus to form longitudinal ribs along the recess which aid in frictionally holding a secondary constituent.

In another embodiment the body absorbs condensation or droplets forming on the liquid container in which case the body may be absorbent or it may include an absorbent layer. Abstract: A fluid dispenser is disclosed for dispensing multiple fluids and that includes valve assemblies with rotary recirculation and dispense valves. A table controlled by a motor and a controller moves all of the valve assemblies to either a dispense position or a recirculation position together. The controller selectively operates the pump motors associated with individual canisters of fluid so that the system can dispense a single fluid or multiple fluids at a time. When in the recirculation position, the fluids can be continuously, intermittently or periodically recirculated to maintain the fluids in a homogenous state.

The outlet conduit has a second garden hose coupling on an end thereof, and extends out of the housing to direct the water from the pump. The storage container includes a bottom designed to be mounted to the top of the housing and a side wall extending upward from the bottom. The side wall and the bottom form an open volume within which a garden hose may be piled or coiled for storage thereof.

Abstract: A metering arrangement is adapted for dispensing metered quantities of liquid from a container via a lower outlet passage thereof. The metering arrangement includes a first valve which is placed in the outlet passage and is adapted to open in response to an excess pressure in the container and close in response to a negative pressure in the container. The metering arrangement also includes a second valve which is placed in the outlet passage upstream or at a higher level than the first valve and is adapted to close in response to opening of the first valve and to open in response to a negative pressure. This enables the container to dispense a liquid like e.g. a liquid soap in portions, which portions have exactly the same size each time a dispensing operation is conducted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a clip for the construction of a temporary reduction of the seam of the sleeves of a short sleeve shirt, or the elastic cuffs of a long sleeve shirt. The temporary seam can be easily removed without damage to the material of the shirt. The present invention has the ability to create a friction lock between the metal frame of the clip and the clip body with the material locked between the two parts of the clip. The present invention can also be used to create a temporary seam or hem so that the shirt or other article of clothing appears tailored to accommodate medical prosthesis. The present invention can also be used to create a seam to hold a woman's scarf. The present invention could also be used to hold hospital gowns and medical gowns together, but still allow for quick release so the medical staff can open up the gown to conduct procedures on the patients.
