Abstract: Applicants provide an application for a dust insecticide for pest control in residential, commercial or other properties. The applicator consists of an assembly, including a dust container and a compressed gas cylinder. The compressed gas cylinder is connected by a high pressure hose to a blowgun that has a barrel attached to it. At the end of the barrel is a nozzle. The nozzle receives dust through an elongated tube from a dust container. A venturi in a nozzle with a small opening proximate to the venturi creates a vacuum when compressed air is forced through it and sucks in dust from the dust container. The insecticide dust mixes with the compressed gas and is fired out of an outlet tube connected to the nozzle. Abstract: A reactor has multiple reactor modules for endothermic reactions. Each reactor module comprises a reaction channel enclosed by a tubular boundary wall and having first and second ends. The reactor module has an inlet element for introducing reactants into the reaction channel. The inlet element is arranged at the first end of the reaction channel. The reactor module has an outlet element for discharging the reaction products from the reaction channel. The outlet element is arranged at the second end of the reaction channel. The reactor module has a heat supply device in the form of a porous burner arrangement that is arranged on the outside of the tubular boundary wall of the reaction channel. Because a porous burner arrangement is used instead of a heat source having catalytic combustion, high reactor performance is achieved at an economical price. The porous burner is substantially less expensive than a combustion catalyst.

Abstract: A cutting element is described comprising a super-hard cutting table, a substrate and a metal or alloy layer. A surface of the superhard cutting table, is joined to the substrate by means of the metal or alloy layer which is positioned between them. At least a first surface of the metal or alloy layer and at least a first surface of the cutting table are co-operatively shaped with each other such that the co-operative shaping substantially prevents relative movement between the cutting table and the metal or alloy layer.

Abstract: The invention includes a substantially rigid body providing underlying support for a filter screen. The invention further includes at least one heating wire disposed adjacent to the body, which is formed of heat conductive material. The body is configured with multiple ribs extending up from a floor so that heat transfer from the body to the screen can occur in a variety of different locations to keep the screen sufficiently heated. The body also includes a wing for interfacing with roofing and openings to allow water filtering through the screen to migrate down into the gutter. A cover overlies a channel, which contains one or more of the heating wires. The system includes a flange attached to the body and extends into the gutter enhancing the heat transfer from the body to within the gutter to keep the water flowing in gutter.

The telescopic sections are assembled or constructed in situ, starting with the inner section and then each subsequent section around the outside of the previously constructed sections. Each individual tower section may be cast in situ or assembled from multiple pre-fabricated segments. This method permits the construction of very tall structures while obviating the need for very large cranes. It also removes the design constraints on the height of the individual telescopic sections.
