Movement of the support belt of the table taking place in steps to ensure the superimposition of the different layers of pre-broken strips deposited by the cross lappers. Implementation of the method taking place without any prior cohesion treatment of each strip.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2010Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: FERLAM TECHNOLOGIESInventor: Xavier Decant

Publication number: 20120199282Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to composite articles, and in particular a composite face plate for a golf club-head, and methods for making the same. In certain embodiments, a composite face plate for a club-head comprises a lay-up of multiple, composite prepreg plies. The face plate can be made by first forming an oversized lay-up of multiple prepreg plies having a central portion and a sacrificial portion surrounding the central portion. The lay-up is at least partially cured in a mold under elevated pressure and heat. The lay-up is then removed from the mold and the sacrificial portion is removed from the central portion to form a composite part that is substantially free of defects.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2012Publication date: August 9, 2012Inventor: Bing-Ling Chao

Publication number: 20120199284Abstract: A substrate may include a plurality of wirings arranged side by side to extend in a predetermined direction, and a protective insulating layer formed between adjoining pixels and formed as a rib protruding from the substrate. An emissive layer formation method for transferring, to the substrate, an emissive layer provided on a transfer element may include pressing the emissive layer on the transfer element onto the protective insulating layer and affixing it through pressure to a top surface of the rib. Thereby the emissive layer transferred to the substrate is confined to an area which is surrounded by the rib of the protective insulating layer, the substrate and the transfer element, and diffusion of the emissive layer is controlled by the area, thereby transferring the emissive layer in the area.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2012Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: SANYO ELECTRIC CO., LTD.Inventors: Hideki Matsuoka, Kazuyuki Maeda

Publication number: 20120199285Abstract: A method for die bonding includes positioning a dispenser in a die bonding apparatus, wherein the dispenser includes a reservoir having bonding adhesive therein including particles and a liquid carrier. The dispenser is moved to provide mechanical agitation to the dispenser for mixing the bonding adhesive into a homogeneous mixture of particles and the liquid carrier, wherein the bonding adhesive is not dispensed during moving. After the moving, the bonding adhesive is dispensed onto a bonding location on the workpiece without removing the dispenser from the die attach apparatus. An integrated circuit (IC) die is attached onto the bonding adhesive over the bonding location. The method can also include determining an amount of time elapsed after the last mixing of the bonding adhesive or the positioning of the dispenser in the die bonding apparatus, and automatically initiating movement for mixing only if the elapsed time exceeds a predetermined time.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2011Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATEDInventors: Frank Yu, Eric Hsieh, Kevin Jin

Publication number: 20120199287Abstract: Metrology data from a semiconductor treatment system is transformed using multivariate analysis. In particular, a set of metrology data measured or simulated for one or more substrates treated using the treatment system is obtained. One or more essential variables for the obtained set of metrology data is determined using multivariate analysis. A first metrology data measured or simulated for one or more substrates treated using the treatment system is obtained. The first obtained metrology data is not one of the metrology data in the set of metrology data earlier obtained. The first metrology data is transformed into a second metrology data using the one or more of the determined essential variables.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2012Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: TOKYO ELECTRON LIMITEDInventors: Vi Vuong, Junwei Bao, Yan Chen, Weichert Heiko, Sebastien Egret

Publication number: 20120199291Abstract: This invention provides a manufacturing method of printed wiring board which enables a plate-like substrate to be carried and processed without any contact to its product surface. End portions of plate-like copper clad laminates are overlapped vertically and then joined linearly by rotating an ultrasonic horn along the end portions. Consequently, copper foils can be metal-joined and a joining strength necessary for transportation with a roller is obtained. Because belt-like copper clad laminate is obtained by joining the plate-like copper clad laminates and after that, processed, thus, the belt-like copper clad laminate can be carried without any contact to its product surface as it is carried with the roller, and then processed.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2012Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: IBIDEN CO., LTD.Inventor: Hideya KAWADA
