Abstract: Provided is automatic shading goggles in that a welding helmet is manufactured in a goggle shape, so that the size thereof is compact and the weight thereof is light and a shading degree of a LCD lens can be selectively adjusted in any one mode of a welding mode for shielding a harmful light generated during welding operation and a security mode for shielding a visible ray, so that it can reduce a burden of the weight applied to a worker, block a strong light during welding operation, and easily distinguish the surrounding objects, when the welding operation is not performed.

Abstract: Described are wrist protectors for a sport glove comprising a bending element configured to bend during bending of the wrist. The bending element may be further configured so that the length of the bending element changes during bending of the wrist, wherein a change of the length of the bending element leads to an elastic restoring force.

Abstract: A disposable combination bib and bag garment protector having straps configured to secure around a neck of a person, a first bag or a material collection bag located on a first side and a second bag or a material stowage bag located on a second side. The bib and bag garment includes the first side that is worn by a person to shield food and/or oral contents released by that person from garments occupying the upper torso and to collect any food and/or oral contents sliding off the first side into the material collection bag. Upon being removed from the person, rolled to a point of closure of the material collection bag, the material stowage bag is exposed and opened to create a stowage space suitable for receiving used diapers or other trash item for convenient disposal.

Abstract: A swimming competition kit that includes a swimming/bathing cap whose inside surface is imprinted with indicia in the form of swimming competition words or abbreviations of such words, namely, “meet, event, heat, lane” with a sufficient space to the right of each indicia for the cap wearer to write in information pertaining to the indicia. The information may be the name of the swimming meet, name of the event, heat number and lane number. Other items of the kit may be an ink body marker and a remover of the mark left by the ink body marker. All may be sealed in a common package.

In highly preferred embodiments, the base includes between 400 and 450 square inches of material to comply with various state and federal hunter safety requirements.

Abstract: A garment having a tubing management system incorporated therein is provided. The tubing management system includes at least one conduit and a coupling system for the conduit. The coupling system has at least one coupling point, which is located, for example, at the neck opening of the garment. The coupling system defines a path for the conduit, i.e., there is more than one attachment point, therefore the path of the conduit may be controlled. In this configuration, the conduit moves with the user and, as such, there is a reduced chance that the user's movements, even while asleep, will cause the facemask to be pulled from its proper position.

Abstract: A novelty shirt with a chest section and long sleeves. The long sleeves in a first position extend downwardly adjacent the sides of the shirt and have shoulder and cuff portions spaced from each other along the vertical axes with elbow portions therebetween. Upper and lower, complementary mouth patterns are then provided on the outsides of the sleeves. The patterns on the downwardly extending sleeves face outwardly and it is not readily apparent that they are part of any overall design. However, when the sleeves are crossed laterally in front of the chest section of the shirt with the elbow portions adjacent one another, the complementary upper and lower mouth patterns on the sleeves then reveal the overall mouth design formed by them. Thereafter, the sleeves can be manipulated to separate the elbow portions to simulate the opening of the mouth.

Abstract: A modular garment system includes an attachment system for attaching multiple garments together. In one embodiment, the garment system includes an upper body garment that is attachable to a lower body garment. The upper body garment includes a plurality of connectors that are aligned with a plurality of retaining members on the lower body garment. The retaining members on the lower body garment, for instance, may be placed on top of existing belt loops. The retaining members may include a flap, while the connectors may have a loop-like structure. In order to connect the upper body garment to the lower body garment, the flap may be inserted into the loop-like structure and secured to the lower body garment. The upper body garment can also include a draw cord that can be used to further secure the upper body garment against the lower body garment.

Abstract: An article of clothing includes long sleeves, for dressing the upper body of a baby or child. The article of clothing includes at least a front and back portion, shoulder portions connected to the front and back portions, and sleeves connected to the shoulder portions. Each of the sleeves includes a zipper portion extending along the sleeve and terminating at a distal end of the sleeve. The sleeve can be opened along the entire length of the zipper portion all the way to the shoulder portion, so that a person's arm can be maneuvered past the shoulder portion and into the sleeve portion with ease and facility. When the child's or baby's arm is completely inserted through the shoulder portion, the zipper member can be operated so that the sleeve is closed, thereby securing the baby's or child's arm in the sleeve.

Abstract: A hospital gown including separable portions is provided. The hospital gown includes a one piece back panel, a two piece front panel, and left and right shoulder panels which cooperatively define a neck opening and left and right arm openings. The hospital gown includes an apron adapted to extend over at least a portion of the two piece front panel. The apron includes a left edge and a right edge detachably connected to the back panel or to the front panel. The shoulder panels include a plurality of fasteners to detachably connect the shoulder panels to the two piece front panel. The two piece front panel includes a right panel and a left panel and a telemetry pocket included thereon.

Abstract: The design is a combination of left and/or right three-finger-gloves integrated with various attachment garments. The gloves help guard against unwanted hand contact with foreign surfaces while the attachment garment provides various utility and fashion functions. The size and shape of the hand covers are specifically designed to enable the wearer to easily slip into and remove. The glove design prevents moisture intrusion while providing a non-slip grip surface and the added dexterity of a three-finger hand cover. The preferred embodiment includes connecting the hand covers together by way of an over-the-shoulder strap garment worn on the outside of normal apparel. The materials used for construction can vary depending on user preference including cloth, leather, man-made fabrics, or bonded fibers such as paper or felt.

Abstract: Customized, form-fitting athletic articles with a heat moldable material that a wearer may heat to soften after purchase to conform the heat moldable material so the contours of the wearer's body may provide many advantages for consumers, such as increased comfort, performance, or safety. The heat moldable material may be incorporated into an athletic glove. The heat moldable material may be reusable in that it may be reheated and remolded multiple times so that the article may be re-customized or re-fitted as needed. The article may also include a temperature sensitive indicator that indicates when the heat moldable material has been softened.

The bands cross each other at a crossing point on the front side are curved to pass around either side of the wearer's external genitalia and continue via the crotch region to the rear side. The bands cross each other at a crossing point on the rear side, and are connected to and terminate at spaced positions on the waistband on the rear side.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composite structure for deflecting and spreading kinetic energy transmission after various types of impacts utilizing nanocomposites. The structure has a first composite layer including a discrete reinforcement and a continuous binder. The first composite layer is an outside layer that comes in contact with an object. The structure has at least one subsequent composite layer that is adjacent to the preceding layer and includes a discrete reinforcement and a continuous binder. The discrete reinforcement is made of particles and can have varying sizes and materials. In one embodiment, the particles in layer reinforcements have a progressively smaller size than preceding layers.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a protective headpiece for an athlete of a game using a projectile to protect at least a portion of the brow, temple and jaw of the athlete's head against impacts by the projectile. The protective head piece is releasably securable to the athlete's head and includes a mask portion comprising an impact resistant material. The mask portion includes a brow portion adapted to substantially shield the athlete's brow area and having opposed sides. A temple portion is positioned at each side of the brow portion and adapted to substantially shield the athlete's temple areas. The mask portion also includes a jaw portion extending from each of the temple portions and adapted to substantially shield at least the athlete's lower jaw. The jaw portion includes a front portion which defines an opening sized to permit frontal viewing of the athlete's mouth.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a helmet structure for reducing kinetic energy transmission. The helmet has a first layer configured as an outside layer that serves as first contact with a source of kinetic energy and a second layer having a substance that changes state to transfer kinetic energy laterally with respect to the skull. The substance has a threshold shear yield point wherein upon contact with kinetic energy, if the threshold shear yield point of the second layer is met, the layer will at least partially liquefy to yield a liquid and flow to internal or external chambers. In one embodiment, the helmet structure is reset after contact with kinetic energy. The substance in the helmet changes state such that the substance returns to its original state prior to contact with kinetic energy and the substance returns to its original location within the helmet structure.

Abstract: A strap (14,15) used in a strap adjuster for a protective helmet is provided. The strap adjuster comprises a case (10) comprising a front face (11), a rear face (12) and a slot (13) therebetween. Within the slot (13) are received the ends of the two straps (14,15), each of which is slotted and defines on one side of the slot (13) a respective rack gear profiles (16,17). A control knob (18) is rotatable in the case (10) and has one or more pinion gear profiles to engage the respective rack gear profiles (16,17). Each strap (14,15) has a mid-portion comprising a plurality of thin strap portions (21) arranged side-by-side and separated by long apertures (22) in a direction transverse to the length of the strap (14,15). The apertures (22) define the thin strap portions (21) of increased flexibility, and may he at least partially out of the plane of the strap (14,15).

Abstract: A helmet assembly includes a face shield and a single, center top mounting arrangement that operatively connects a center top location of the face shield to a center front mount on the helmet. The face shield can be raised and lowered about a pivot axis provided in the mounting arrangement between a tilted up, non-use position and a lowered, deployed position. The mounting arrangement can include a detent and two recesses, wherein the detent engages a first recess at a slightly forwardly displaced position to allow ventilation between the helmet and mandible and the face shield and a second recess at the tilted up, non-use position. The recess and detent engagement can be overcome by easy manual force acting on the face shield to reposition the face shield.

The seat recess is formed between the outer edge section and the inner edge section. The weighted section is mounted securely on the outer edge section. The excreting hole is formed through the portable self-attached sanitary cover and is surrounded by the inner edge section. The folding gap is formed in the portable self-attached sanitary cover. Because the portable self-attached sanitary cover has the weighted section, the outer edge section is capable of drooping to tightly abut an outer rim of a toilet seat. Accordingly, the portable self-attached sanitary cover is securely positioned on the toilet seat.

Abstract: A slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats is a bag and has a bag opening, two side edges, a closed side, a bag space and an excreting hole. The side edges are respectively located at two opposite sides of the slip-in type sanitary cover. The closed side is opposite to the bag opening. The bag space is formed in the slip-in type sanitary cover. The excreting hole is formed through a central section of the slip-in type sanitary cover. Because the sanitary cover is bag-shaped, the sanitary cover can easily enclose a toilet seat. As long as the user's butt sits on the sanitary cover, the sanitary cover is tightened. Accordingly, the sanitary cover is easily and securely positioned on the toilet seat.

Abstract: A macerating apparatus for a toilet in which the problem of jamming the macerator at startup is solved by rapidly detecting the flushing of the toilet and accelerating the macerator before motion-jamming solid objects in the effluent from the toilet can reach the macerator. The macerating apparatus may be comprised of a macerating cutter operatively connected to a motor, and a sensor in communication with the motor. The sensor may detect the flow of effluent from the toilet toward the macerator, the flow of makeup water from the supply tank into the toilet, or the mechanical action of the mechanism used to flush the toilet. The apparatus may include an intake basket having an asymmetric inlet tube and containing the macerating cutter, wherein the asymmetry of the inlet tube provides additional operating clearance between a cutting blade of the macerating cutter and the intake basket.

The bracket has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The bracket is capable of being rotated to be disposed selectively with the first side or the second side facing upward for providing application space. Thereby, the invention can provide two application platforms with one occupied space of the crib frame, so as to solve the issue in the prior art that additional accessories provided for a conventional crib is provided for multiple functions occupy more space and the operation therefor is usually inconvenient to users.

Abstract: Disclosed is a novelty bed covering that provides a sleeping bag environment attachable to a standard bed, comprising an upper and lower sleeping bag shell, zip fastener closure between shells and an attached bed securement sheet. A first and second strip of zip fasteners provides removable securement of the top shell to the lower shell, wherein the lower shell is securely attached to the bed. Two strips of zip fasteners allow egress and ingress from either side of the bag, while back to back zipper clasps allow the bottom of the bag to be opened if desired. A fitted sheet attaches to the lower shell and fits snugly against the bed to ensure the lower shell is secured in a static position. Over the fitted sheet is provided a decorative skirt, which covers the sheet engagement with the bed and adds a decorative appeal.

More particularly, the present disclosure provides for an inflatable foam pillow comprising a support layer, a shell, and a housing layer attached to the shell which surrounds the support layer and secures the support layer against a side wall of the shell. In some embodiments, the shell may be an inflatable bladder. In some embodiments, the pillow may further include a valve or pump for inflating, holding or releasing the air from the pillow.
