Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is a clamp system for use in screen printing, including first and second jaw members, screws, an extension member, and a registration pin. The jaw members are aligned and have respective facing flat surfaces and openings. The screws threadedly connect to respective openings and set the distance between jaw members for clamping a frame. The extension member remains flush to the flat surface of the first jaw member and has a housing extending orthogonal to alignment of the jaw members. The registration pin engages a hole on the housing and extends parallel to jaw members and orthogonal to the housing. The blunt end of the pin abuts a platen. All platens maintain the same position relative to the frame, when abutting the blunt end. The registration of platens to the frame allows for multiple consistent ink application onto a substrate.

Abstract: A method of determining a heading by means of an inertial device (1) providing measurements by means of at least one vibratory gyro (3), the method comprising the steps of: • positioning the inertial device in such a manner that the gyro extends close to a plane that is substantially horizontal; • orienting the inertial device successively in a predetermined number of orientations about a vertical axis, the predetermined number being greater than one; • for each orientation, adjusting the electric angle of the vibratory gyro to a predetermined value, the predetermined value of the electric angle being the same for all of the orientations of the inertial device, and taking a measurement; and • determining the heading from the measurements and an angle between the orientations.

Abstract: A levels of the type including an elongate hollow frame and a magnet secured to the frame having a magnet-mounting structure which includes first and second magnet-holding members positioning the magnet with respect to a bottom-wall opening. The first magnet-holding member has a first side flange; and the second magnet-holding member has a second side flange. Each side flange is positioned to extend along one of opposite frame sidewalls at an inner surface of a frame bottom wall. A locking member pulls the magnet-holding members together such that the side flanges are locked inside the level frame along the opposite sidewalls, thereby mechanically securing the magnet to the level frame.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sheet stack thickness estimating device including a driving device, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, a pressing part and a sensor. The driving device provides a motive force to the sheet stack thickness estimating device so as to drive the first connecting rod moved horizontally for rotating the second connecting rod, so that the pressing part presses the sheets on the paper tray. By detecting if the signal generated by the sensor is blocked by the first connecting rod, the thickness estimating device can judge if the thickness of the sheets exceeds a predetermined value.

Abstract: Described herein are devices and techniques for spray drying a fluid to produce a dried powder. Assemblies include a spray drying head attachable to a gas supplier and a liquid sample, such as a standard unit of blood product. The spray drying head can be adapted to provide an aerosolized flow of liquid sample exposed to a drying gas. The assembly also includes a drying chamber adapted to separate the aerosolized flow of liquid sample into a dried powder and humid air. The assembly can be disposable, provided in a sterilized kit and having simplified attachments allowing quick connect and disconnect from the gas and liquid sample. Separation of the powder from the humid air exiting the drying chamber occurs within a filtered collection bag. In some embodiments, one or more of the drying chamber and collection bag are formed form a thin-walled, collapsible material.
