Abstract: An eye shield is provided that may allow for compact storage and ease of assembly and use. The eye shield may include a frame for supporting the eye shield upon a user and a pair of hinges that are arranged upon the frame between a pair of temple portions and an intermediate segment of a forehead portion of the frame. A lens may be mounted to the pair of hinges for pivotal movement from a flat position to a use position.

Abstract: A cookie cutting glove having a cookie cutter or cookie stamp attached to a glove for use by children and adults to cut and shape cookie dough easily and enjoyably while requiring minimal small motor skills. The glove has an internal layer of a resilient polymer that provides a rigidity to the glove when a user presses the cookie cutter in the dough as well as provides insulation against heat and electricity. The cookie cutter is attached to the glove by many variations, such as a strap or a ribbon. The glove is not limited to one specific style, but is any style that covers a palm and a back of a hand and has a plurality of finger cavities. In one embodiment, an outer surface of the glove itself is the cookie cutter. Without the cookie cutter, the glove is useful as an oven mitt.

Abstract: An improved sports glove, of the type that includes a membrane that is generally configured to be worn on a wearer's hand so that the interior surface of the membrane comes in contact with the glove wearer's hand, has the improvements of a plurality of sensitizing elements that are attached to the membrane's interior surface for sensitizing the portion of the glove wearer's hand that adjoins these elements so as to enhance the wearer's ability to handle a piece of sports equipment.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a glove 10, including fingers 12, a thumb 14, and a back surface 24 having a lateral portion 28 and a medial portion 30, a tightening system 18, and a closure assembly 40. Closure assembly 40 opens to allow the wearer's hand ingress and egress. Glove 10 is tightened around the wearer's hand using tightening system 18, which includes a lace 32, a lace guide 34, and a tightening mechanism 36. Lace 32 is threaded through lace guide 34 positioned opposite tightening mechanism 36 on back surface 24 and attached at opposite ends to tightening mechanism 36. In an advantageous aspect of the present invention, lace 32 is tensioned to draw lace guide 34 toward tightening mechanism 36, which tightens glove 10 around the wearer's hand.

Abstract: The glove includes a base portion having a palm side and a back side adapted to cover a hand, the base portion having integral finger segments and also including detachable finger segments to extend from the base portion. The base portion includes base mounts encircling finger openings on an interior side and the detachable finger segments include finger mounts encircling the detachable finger segments on an exterior side. The detachable finger segments extend through finger openings of the base portion and the finger mounts interlock with the base mounts to secure the detachable finger segments to the base portion. The mounts, when in the connected state, are located on an interior side of the base portion to restrict visibility of the mounts and also restrict accidental engagement with foreign objects. The mounts each comprise a halved ring-structure having elastic elements connecting opposing halves for diametric adjustment of the mounts.

Abstract: Elastomeric film-like products such as natural latex gloves are coated with novel lubricity compositions and compositions which protect the skin of the wearer from certain undesirable medical conditions. In powder-coated gloves, the coating composition comprises rice starch, and optionally USP-grade colloidal oatmeal in pharmaceutically accepted concentration. In powder-free gloves, the coating composition comprises colloidal oatmeal enhanced water or beta glucan solution, optionally in combination with one or more other starch components. Colloidal oatmeal enhanced water, and methods of making the colloidal oatmeal enhanced water are also disclosed. In addition, beta glucan solution, and methods of making the beta glucan solution are also disclosed. A liquid referred to herein as Polycoat may also be made by mixing colloidal oatmeal enhanced water with beta glucan solution, and the resulting liquid may be applied to elastomeric articles such as gloves.

Abstract: An undergarment with powder dispenser and method of use. A powder dispenser is attached to an undergarment torso rear. Powder is placed within the powder dispenser and diffuses through a powder-permeable powder dispenser front wall onto the skin of a user wearing the undergarment with powder dispenser. The powder dispenser extends downwards from an undergarment torso waist substantially 80% of the way to an undergarment crotch. A powder dispenser rear wall top edge elastic keeps powder within the powder dispenser from escaping. Downwardly-sloping powder dispenser baffles extend alternatingly from powder dispenser rear wall side edges, creating a serpentine powder path to improve powder distribution. Method of use steps include inserting anti-chaffing powder through a powder dispenser mouth and into a powder dispenser reservoir, and then allowing it to diffuse through the powder dispenser front wall onto the wearer, thus helping avoid skin irritation in the buttock, crotch, and thigh areas.

Abstract: Provided are a protective headwear and method of manufacturing the headwear. The headwear includes a body, band and plurality of protective inserts. The body has an opening and a crown, and is configured to fit a head of a person. The band extends from and about the opening of the body to the interior of the body and partially toward the crown. The band is free floating with respect to the body and configured to fit the head of the person. The band includes a plurality of pockets disposed about a base stitching that secures the band to the body. The protective inserts are configured to be received into the pockets to provide a protective function to the head of the person. The protective inserts are disposed adjacently to one another about the band and extend from the base stitching of the band to the crown of the body.

Abstract: The helmet stabilization apparatus includes a helmet adapted to be worn by a user, a night vision goggle unit attached to a front portion of the helmet, and a removable counterweight attached to a rear portion of the helmet that balances with the weight of the night vision goggle unit, wherein said removable counterweight can be connected in a variety of manners, such as a magnetic means of connection, a hook and loop connection, or a mechanical means of connection. Furthermore, the helmet may provide staggered connections, such that the removable counterweight may be positioned on the helmet at the user's desired orientation. This allows the user to move the center of mass of the system such that it is self-stabilizing on the user's head. Moreover, the removable counterweight may be formed such that when it is removed, it may be coupled with an attachable handle to form a plurality of tools or weapons. This is beneficial in that it provides a collection of tools while only one object need be carried.

Abstract: The present invention provides a helmet that is convenient in use. The helmet of the present invention includes a main body defining a space receiving a head of a wearer, a holder that is elastically coupled to the main body to be capable of pivoting and has a pushing member, a shield that is detachably coupled to the holder so that the wearer can securely obtain a viewing field, and a locking/unlocking unit that maintains or releases an open state of the holder when the holder pivots to the open state. The helmet structure as above can open and close the face shield by simply pushing the shield upward.

Abstract: A self-forming mattress cover including a mattress gusset with a drawstring is provided. The gusset includes a sleeve attached to the gusset along a fold location. A drawstring is disposed within the sleeve. Ends of the drawstring are pulled into tension, thereby reducing the perimeter of the gusset at the fold location and drawing the gusset inward toward the center of the mattress. The gusset is formed to corner positions of the mattress by stretching and/or bunching of gusset material as tension is applied. The ends of the drawstring are secured to retain the tension state. A cushioned quilt top is attached to a free edge of the gusset. The self-forming mattress cover conforms to corner positions of a mattress without the need for mitering, ruffling, pleating, or sewing seams at the corner positions. The self-forming mattress cover also ensures proper alignment of the cushioned quilt with the mattress body.

The first and second exchangers are serially arranged, while the third is at an angle relative to the first and second and directly adjacent to the first opening. Super heated exhaust gas flows through first opening and third exchanger. Heated gas flows through the second opening and passes below the third exchanger. Super heated exhaust gas exiting the third exchanger mixes with the heated gas in a mixing chamber of the housing, which is then supplied to the first and second exchangers. Fluid passes through the three exchangers and exits the third exchanger heated. That heated fluid passes to a cleaning wand for application.

The trim clip may include an outer frame having a top portion and a base portion. The base portion may be capable of engagement with a first component. The trim clip may include at least one tongue that may extend outward from the top portion and may engage with a second component. The trim clip may include at least one tab extending outward from the base portion that may engage the first component. The trim clip may include at least one locking feature that may include an inner U-portion and an outer U-portion. The locking feature may increase the ratio of insertion to retention within the second component to be greater than 1:2 or 1:3.
