Abstract: Chaps, such as riding chaps and, in particular, protective chaps intended to be worn by farriers and those conducting similar work, and frequently referred to as “aprons”, with improved support and/or comfort, particularly in the lumbar or sacroiliac region. The chaps have an integral belt region, extending around the front of a wearer. The belt region has extension pieces, at either end, for the attachment of a linking belt portion which is intended to pass around the back of the wearer and thus complete the belt. The linking belt portion bears an enlargement providing a lumbar support and/or a posture aid for the wearer. The attachment of the linking belt portion to the extension pieces can be accomplished by fitments which allow for quick release/engagement and/or adjustment of the belt as a whole.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cape for protecting a user from containments. The cape includes a neck portion adapted to be secured to a neck of the user and a main body portion having opposing front and rear portions extending from the neck portion adapted to cover the user. A translucent window assembly is provided on a front portion of the cape for providing visual access to a user's personal item disposed behind a rear portion of the cape. A vent assembly is provided which is coupled to the translucent window assembly for providing ventilation of air above and below the cape.

Abstract: A garment constructed of textile panels that provides proper fit across a variety of postures is provided. A plurality of primary textile panels have a first crumplability. At least one secondary textile panel has a second crumplability, the second crumplability being greater than the first crumplability. A plurality of seams joins the plurality of primary textile panels and the at least one secondary textile panel substantially along the edges of the panels to form a garment that when worn by a person in a non-extended posture covers intended portions of the person fully with only the plurality of primary textile panels extended and the at least one secondary textile panel non-extended. When the garment is worn by a person in an extended posture, the garment covers the intended portions of the person fully with both the plurality of primary textile panels and the at least one secondary textile panel extended.

In one preferred embodiment, the glove contains perforations in the wrist portion, palm portion, each of the middle, ring, little finger, and thumb portions, and along the medial edge of the glove body from the wrist section to the little finger portion. Preferably, the perforations have an average diameter size of less than 1 mm. The glove fits tightly on a wearer's hand and provides good gripping strength and a comfortable feel.

Abstract: A bi-color insulating sleeve formed from a compression molding process. The compression process producing a product from a process wherein an inner layer of the sleeve made of a first color is only partially vulcanized. A second material of a different color is the placed over the sleeve and the use of heat and pressure are applied so that both the first and second materials vulcanize at the same time. The second material forming an outer layer and taking the form of the outer shape of the insulating sleeve wherein a compromise in the safety of the sleeve is visually identified whenever the inner layer can be seen through the outer layer.

Abstract: A sandal production method includes the application of a primer applied, preferably by wiping, to the latex or other printing surface of a sandal blank structure which may be applied and then wiped from the latex surface. The sandal shaped polymeric mass may be cut from a sheet of dense polymeric material, it may include sandal strap bores, and may have layers of flexible paint (preferably white) applied. A jig is disclosed for providing a support for multiple primed sandal blanks to save time in the printing process. Treatment of the printed sandal support with a protective overlayer is taught.

Abstract: A belt has a retracting lanyard built into it for convenient deployment of an attachment device attached to the lanyard. The lanyard can be contained within the belt when not in use and can be extended therefrom for use. A stop prevents the lanyard from being removed from the belt and, therefore, the lanyard never needs to come off the belt. Because the lanyard retracts into a channel or slot in the belt, it does not get tangled and hung up. The belt can also include a hidden pocket to store money, notes, maps and the like. The attachment device can be stored in an attachment pouch when not in use, keeping the attachment device ready for use and preventing it from getting caught when not in use.

In one embodiment, an undergarment comprises a front section having a front left hip section, a front right hip section and front bottom section. The undergarment also comprises a rear section having a rear left hip section, a rear right hip section, and a rear bottom section. Additionally, the undergarment comprises a crotch section that connects to front section and rear section. Further, the undergarment comprises a front inner lining connected to the inner surface of said front section and a rear inner lining connected to the inner surface of said rear section. Lastly, the undergarment can comprise a front orifice formed by space between said front section and said front inner lining, and a rear orifice formed by space between said rear section and said rear inner lining.

The first feature may include an opening, and a lock adjacent the opening. The access openings allow for easy access to the person's bottom for hygienic cleaning after using the toilet or commode. The person reaches through either side access opening while holding toilet paper and wipes their bottom with a side-to-side or front-to-rear motion, thereby reducing a potential risk for contracting a urinary tract infection. An optional shield is disposed under the seat and directs bodily waste material into the toilet bowl or a container.

Abstract: This invention pertains to all residential and commercial flush toilets with or without water tank storage systems. An external exhaust system, which is activated by user, maintains constant suction in the bowl. A strategically sized and placed exhaust port is the only modification to the toilet bowl necessary to realize the previously stated objectives. This invention uses engineering hydraulic properties of water and air to achieve the toilet flushing and the removal of odorous air as it is created by human waste in the bowl. There are no electrical or mechanical devices added to the present art of the bowl construction, except the attic electric fan.

The PTC heating component of PTC heater is composed of several heating cores made of PTC ceramic material, completely eliminating fire risk. Meanwhile, PTC heating component external is equipped with at least one layer of insulation and sealing component, which further includes several insulation layers and at least one sealing layer outside the insulation layer, effectively eliminating electricity leakage risk. Two layers of above mentioned insulation and sealing component could meet the insulation requirements specified in IEC standard and UL standard, so it could be used for applications with large power. In addition, the PTC heater has good water route sealing ability, so it could be used for liquid heating in small size pool. Finally, an apparatus and methods are provided that protect portions of the finished bathtub assembly to decrease in the need for replacing said hardware. It is envisioned that aspects and inventions disclosed herein can be used in conjunction to facilitate the interconnection and protection of hardware associated with a bathtub.
