Abstract: An infant crib safety mattress is disclosed comprising a mattress body having a sleeping area defined by a largely flat surface, the sleeping area bounded by an upsloping border region that is angled upwards at a defined angle to prevent a child from wedging against or entangling with the crib rails, while also eliminating the need for crib bumper pads. The transition between the sleeping area and the sloping border is an upward angle less than perpendicular, eliminating any sharp transitions or locations where an infant may become wedged. The internal structure of the mattress includes a uniform filler material or a coil-spring system, as desired by the user.

Abstract: A wash cycle for a clothes washer with a wash zone defined within a rotating drum having an outer wall, for receiving a fabric load. The steps include dispensing a volume of a first wash liquor to the wash zone, rotating the drum to move the fabric load toward the outer wall and recirculating the first wash liquor through the fabric load and wash zone, all during a first time period. The fabric load is flexed during a second time period. The cycle continues with dispensing a volume of a second, different wash liquor to the wash zone, rotating the drum to move the fabric load toward the outer wall and recirculating the second liquor through the fabric load and wash zone during a third time period. One of the two wash liquors is an oxidizing agent wash liquor. Then the remainder of the wash cycle is completed.

A fluid pervious contact substrate can be joined to a first side of the backing layer. The pouch can contain a stain treatment fluid. The package can have a first position in which first and second planar regions of the backing layer are substantially in plane with one another. The package can have a second position in which first planar region and second planar region are in a substantially angularly facing relationship. In the second position the pouch can be in fluid communication with the contact substrate. The stain treatment fluid can include a surfactant.

Abstract: Methods for producing a coloring agent for keratin fibers from a first composition A, a second composition B and a third composition C, in which the first composition A is directed from a container A, by means of a filling device, via an inlet, to a second container B containing the second composition B and/or, to a third container C containing the third composition C, wherein composition A is introduced into container B and/or into container C, and container B and/or container C, through the introduction of composition A and/or the influence of the filling device, forms at least one outlet, from which a mixture of compositions A and B and/or a mixture of compositions A and C emerges, are suitable for producing homogeneous coloring agents for keratin fibers with a viscosity that is suitable for the treatment of hair.

Abstract: The subject of the invention is a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, comprising at least one 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene derivative and at least one basifying agent other than aqueous ammonia; the use of the composition for hair dyeing and also the use of the composition in a dyeing process for keratin fibres. The composition according to the invention makes it possible to dye keratin fibres under mild oxidizing conditions even without using an oxidation base and an aromatic amine, while at the same time covering a broad colour range with 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene derivatives. The observed dyeing under oxidizing conditions operates under mild conditions of oxidation and/or basifying agent, in particular in the air, and does not produce any unpleasant odour.

Abstract: In a method of dyeing and finishing cotton fibers, emulsion copolymer treated cotton fibers are prepared by contacting the fibers with an emulsion copolymer and curing the copolymer under conditions to chemically anchor the emulsion copolymer to the cotton and thereby form copolymer-treated cotton fibers. The copolymer-treated cotton fibers are then contacted with a dye material under conditions sufficient to affix at least a portion of the dye material to the copolymer component of the copolymer-treated cotton fibers and produce dyed cotton fibers. Thereafter, the dyed cotton fibers are treated with a surfactant-stabilized aqueous acrylic polymer dispersion to give the fibers a worn or vintage character.

The bracket is configured to be releasably secured to the ramp. A pivot pin extends from the lower surface of the bracket has an end spaced from the bracket. The end of the pivot pin is configured to be received in an opening of a cargo bed in the vehicle. The bracket is capable of being pivoted about the pivot pin along a pivot axis defined by the pivot pin.

Abstract: Fluid is circulated through a heat exchange system for heat exchange to occur at a bundle of tubes making up a portion of the heat exchange system. Heat exchange efficiency at the bundle of tubes requires debris and fouling deposits accumulated therewithin to be substantially removed. Taking the heat exchange system off-line for physical flushing is not only ineffective but also disallow use of the heat exchange system for the duration it remains off-line. Described herein is an embodiment of a cleaning system which uses a displacement system for displacing cleaning balls carried in fluid into the bundle of tubes for cleaning thereof. A flow diverting system is configured and operable for introducing the cleaning balls to the bundle of tubes when in a first operating mode and for retrieving the cleaning balls from the plurality of tubes when in a second operating mode.

Optional opening degrees may be selected during the manufacturing process creating multiple degree positions according to the number of knuckles on the hinge. Abstract: A fastener stringer is configured such that a fastener element of a continuous shape includes a plurality of fine projected rims which are continuously disposed on a peripheral surface of the monofilament (30); along a length direction of the monofilament and a plurality of fine concave grooves which are disposed between the projected rim and in a cross section of the monofilament, a cross-sectional area of a space region of the concave groove is set to be larger than that of the projected rim. With this configuration, when performing dyeing process employing a beam dyeing or a continuous dyeing method while appropriately securing the strength of the monofilament, it is possible to prevent dyeing irregularities and dyeing defects from arising. Further, when performing a coloring according to an inkjet, scheme, it is possible to finely form a desired pattern with clear outlines on the fastener element.

Abstract: There is provided a slide fastener. A pair of fastener tapes are made by weaving. A pair of fastener element rows are respectively provided on opposing tape side edge portions of the pair of fastener tapes. Each of the pair of fastener element rows has a plurality of fastener elements. A slider is configured to engage and disengage the pair of fastener element rows. End stops are respectively provided on end portions of the pair of fastener element rows to stop movement of the slider. Stripe patterns are respectively formed along a longitudinal direction of the fastener tapes in the tape side edge portions at the outer side of the end stops in the longitudinal direction of the fastener tapes.

Abstract: A touch fastener has a base and an array of discrete fastener elements each extending from the base and together forming with the base a contiguous mass of resin. Each discrete fastener element includes a stem rising from the base, and a head overhanging the base from a front side of the stem to a distal edge, the front side of the stem, an underside of the head, and an upper surface of the base together forming, in side profile, a generally curved retention space boundary surface such that the boundary surface forms, at its innermost extent, a retention cavity defined between curvature discontinuities spaced from both the base and the distal edge.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods consistent with the present inventive concept relate to a clamping device which is connectable with a shaft having a longitudinal axis and four longitudinal surfaces extending in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis, the clamping device including: a base member having two substantially perpendicular surfaces, the base member being configured to contact two adjacent longitudinal surfaces of said four longitudinal surfaces of said shaft, wherein said base member extends along the shaft in the direction parallel to the longitudinal axis; and a plurality of clamping elements, the plurality of clamping elements being coupled to said base member, wherein each of the plurality of clamping elements is flexible in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shaft, and the plurality of clamping elements is operable to exert clamping pressure on the two adjacent longitudinal surfaces of said shaft opposing the base member.
