Abstract: A biaxial foldout tool includes a body with opposing ends and one or more sets of tool drivers. The opposing ends are rotated 90° from each other. A first set of tool drivers is positioned on/near a first end and rotates about a first hinge; a second set of tool drivers is positioned on/near a second end and rotates about a second hinge. A first portion of the first set opens in a direction counter to an open direction of a second portion of the first set of tool drivers. A first portion of the second set opens in a direction counter to an open direction of a second portion of the second set of tool drivers. When tool drivers are in an open position, internal stops prevent the tool drivers from opening past a predetermined angle. The tool drivers are contained within channels of the body when in a closed position.

Abstract: A trap canister for adsorbing fuel vapor contained in break-through gas discharged from a main canister. The trap canister may include a trap case having an adsorption chamber defined therein and containing an adsorption material, so that the break-through gas flows through the adsorption material in a gas flow direction. The adsorption chamber may include a gas introduction side and a gas outlet side located on a downstream side of the gas introduction side along the gas flow direction. The adsorption chamber may have a passage with a cross-sectional area gradually decreasing from the gas introduction side toward the gas outlet side. The trap canister may further include a temperature control device configured to control the temperature of the adsorption material.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed towards a trap canister for adsorbing fuel vapor contained in breakthrough gas discharged from a main adsorbent canister. The main adsorbent canister is connected to a fuel tank has a case defining an adsorption chamber therein and an adsorbent filled in the adsorption chamber. The case has a first end open to the atmosphere and a second end for introducing breakthrough gas into the adsorption chamber. The adsorbent filled in the adsorption chamber adsorbs the fuel vapor contained in the breakthrough gas. The trap canister further has a bypass path for bypassing the adsorption chamber and a valve configured to block the bypass path and to allow for opening during refueling. This prevents the fuel vapor from flowing into the atmosphere during normal operation while also decreasing pressure loss during refueling.

Abstract: In described embodiments, a hot liquid extraction system includes a brew chamber having a brew chamber upper end and a brew chamber lower end. A steam chamber is disposed below the brew chamber. A filtering base is removably inserted into the brew chamber. The filtering base has a diaphragm having a plurality of openings formed therein. The diaphragm is movable via fluid pressure between a first position in which the openings are open, thereby providing fluid communication between the brew chamber and the steam chamber and a second position in which the openings are closed, thereby precluding fluid communication between the brew chamber and the steam chamber.

Abstract: A machine to fast cook raw food-stuff including dry-goods such as pasta on demand. Cook time is user selectable and varies from less than one minute to 4 minutes. Higher cook times are user programmable and food type dependent. The separate boiler and cook chamber are sealed within an enclosure containing a heat transfer fluid. Porting enables the ingress, egress and transfer of raw and cooked food-stuff, liquid and vapor. Proprietary slide plate valves control food-stuff ingress and egress to the cook chamber. The upper slide plate valve assembly separates the cook chamber from the raw food ingress staging aperture. Rinse water and cooked food-stuff discharges into the drain pan containing and enclosing the food collection strainer through the lower slide plate valve assembly. Discharge of the cooked food product completes the cook cycle. The cooked food can then be deposited from the strainer onto a serving vessel.
