Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the alignment of food products in which food products arriving on an input conveyor in the supply direction arrive at an alignment station at which the products are aligned and from which the aligned products arrive at an output conveyor, wherein a misalignment of the products relative to a target alignment is detected and the product is aligned as a function of the misalignment, said products being aligned by the products resting against a product support and the product support being actuated in order to perform the alignment movement, and wherein the alignment of the products is accomplished without relative movements between the products and the product support. The invention further relates to a device for the alignment of food products.

Abstract: A polymer finishing process including: recovering polymer powder from a polymerization reactor; feeding the polymer powder to an inlet of a mass flow screw conveyor and one or more mass measuring devices for determining a mass of polymer powder within at least a portion of the mass flow screw conveyor; measuring at least one of a mass of the polymer powder in the screw conveyor and a combined mass of the screw conveyor and the polymer powder within the screw conveyor with the one or more mass measuring devices; and determining a mass flowrate of polymer powder through the mass flow screw conveyor based on the at least one of the measured mass of the polymer powder in the mass flow screw conveyor and the measured combined mass. A method of controlling a polymerization process using a mass flow screw conveyor is also disclosed.

The guide portion has rotators, receiving portions receiving respective ones of the rotators, openings communicating with through-holes of the conveying member, communication portions communicating with the openings and positioned so that each of the rotators is arranged between respective adjacent pairs of the communication portions, and connection members communicating with the openings via the communication portions. The connection members are configured for connection to a suction device for drawing air from the openings through the respective communication portions to draw by suction the conveyance object toward the conveying member.

Abstract: A chain tension sensor for a chain conveyor, the conveyor including a frame and a chain having a plurality of flights. The tension sensor includes a reaction arm and a load sensing pin. The reaction arm includes a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a load pad. The first end is pivotably coupled to the frame by a pivot pin defining a pivot axis. The load pad is adjacent the conveyor chain and positioned to contact flights passing the load pad. The flights contacting the load pad exert a force on the reaction in a direction that is perpendicular to the pivot axis. The load sensing pin is coupled to the reaction arm such that the load sensing pin senses the force that is exerted by the flights.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a pitch for a modular conveyor belt. In some embodiments, the pitch may include a link having a first leg, including an opening formed in the first leg. The opening may be defined by a first edge, a second edge opposite the first edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge opposite the first side edge. In addition, the pitch may include a projection associated with the first edge. In a first position, the projection may extend substantially perpendicularly away from the first edge towards the second edge so that a free end of the projection is positioned proximate the second edge. Also, the projection may be configured to deflect to a second position, in which the free end of the projection is deflected within the opening towards one of the first side edge and the second side edge.

A plurality of dividers connect the interior columns to one another and to the side walls. Side columns project upward from the side walls. The side walls include an upper portion and a plurality of spaced-apart lower portions, thus reducing the weight of the tray while maintaining the stability of the tray. Optionally, the base could include a plurality of base walls connected by co-planar vertical ribs. The dividers include upper wall portions extending continuously between interior columns and/or an interior column and a side column and/or an interior column and an end column. The dividers include spaced apart lower wall portions each connected to one of the vertical ribs connected adjacent base walls.

Abstract: The present invention features a ladder tool tray with separable paint bucket. The tool tray comprises a first section as a tool organizer and a second section for paint bucket. The second section is removably attached to the first section via securing clasps and a top bracket. The first section comprises a plurality of storage compartments, screw driver holders, drill holders and cleaning tower/clothes hangers. The second section is a paint bucket with integrated hook to hold paint roller above the paint within the paint bucket. Each section has a handle for individual lifting and the handles can be held jointly to carry both sections together.

Abstract: The paint carrier and organizer is a paint caddy that supplies paint from within a container, which can be sealed closed for storing paint and paint tools between uses. The paint carrier and organizer includes a container from which a hinged member rotates to either open and expose the contents therein or close forming a watertight seal so as to preserve paint therein. The container features paint tool-securing means along an interior and across a top thereof such that paint tools may be supported and stored therein and between use. At least one hook is provided such that the device may be supported upon a ladder rung. A plug is provided at or near a bottom portion of the container such that the contents may be removed. A removable storage container may be provided, which can attach along an exterior surface of the container for use in conjunction with painting.

Abstract: The present invention provides a blister package including a blister tray having a plurality of upwardly opening blister depressions. A plurality of consumable products are provided where each blister depression supports one of the plurality of consumable products. A blister cover overlies and encloses the blister depression. The cover is sealed to the tray at a depression boundary about each depression. Each blister depression includes a tapered wall for urging the consumable product out from the blister depression at a location at the blister boundary upon manual exerted on the depression.

Abstract: A method of sorting mined material to separate the mined material is disclosed. The method comprises exposing particles of the mined material to microwave energy and heating the particles depending on the susceptibility of the material in the particles. The method also comprises thermally analyzing the particles using the temperatures of the particles as a basis for the analysis to indicate composition differences between particles. The thermal analysis step includes thermally assessing particles against a background surface. The thermal analysis step also includes heating the background surface to a temperature that is different to the temperature of the particles to provide a thermal contrast between the particles and the background surface. The method also comprises sorting the particles on the basis of the results of the thermal analysis.

The apparatus may comprise: a wash chamber for accepting a mixture comprising sand and organic material, the chamber including a lower portion; and an agitator comprising a screw having two or more flights extending into the lower portion. A method for recovering sand from a mixture comprising sand and organic material may comprise the steps of: introducing a mixture comprising sand and organic material into a water-filled chamber having a net flow of water in an upwardly direction; allowing organic material from the mixture to ascend in a net upwardly direction and allowing sand from the mixture to descend in a net downwardly direction; subjecting at least a portion of the descending sand to a turbulence; and recovering sand that has descended past the turbulence.

The fixture includes a plurality of adjacent vertically arranged card pockets attached to an angled support structure and standard tube frame which creates angled array of greeting cards extending outward from a front of the display and ending in a fin-like fashion at the back of the display. The novel arrangement decreases the size of space required to display the variety of greeting cards which can be accommodated upon the outpost fixture.

A hydrogen tank comprises a tank main body filled with hydrogen, a thermofoamable heat-insulating layer provided on the external surface of the tank main body, a relief valve which is provided at the left end of the tank main body and which reduces the pressure in the tank main body by releasing the hydrogen in the tank main body, and a liner which extends from the relief valve toward the right end and which detects an increase in temperature. The relief valve is thermally connected to the liner, and is actuated based on heat transferred from the liner in order to release the hydrogen in the tank main body, thereby reducing the pressure in the tank main body.

Abstract: A tote having both a caddy and a removable mini caddy is disclosed. The removable mini caddy attaches to the caddy with a series of guide walls and guide rails that allow the removable mini caddy to be cooperatively received by the caddy. The handle of the removable mini caddy nests with the handle of the caddy while they are attached, providing the user with a single handled tote that is easy to transport and use while still having the convenience of an extra tote where objects can be temporarily removed and then replaced without the need for transferring the objects from one tote to another. Abstract: A two-piece pinch valve is disclosed. A first piece or part of the valve is fixedly installed into a dispensing cabinet. A second piece or part having a movable pinch bar that pinches and un-pinches a tube is installable into and removable from the first piece by hand. Removal of the second piece from the first pieces allows a tube to be directly installed into the pinch valve. Installation of the second piece into the first piece configures the valve for operation. The second piece is installed into slots in the first piece. The slots and engaging protuberances on the second piece enable the second piece to be locked in place.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for dispensing sanitizer fluid from a door handle, including a latch mechanism lever adapted for coupling to a door latch mechanism and a trigger lever coupled to the latch mechanism lever. The latch mechanism lever can be selectively actuated independent of the trigger lever to actuate the door latch mechanism without dispensing sanitizer fluid. The apparatus may further include a sanitizer fluid reservoir and a pump coupled to the trigger lever to control sanitizer fluid flow from the sanitizer fluid reservoir to a nozzle when the trigger lever is actuated, where the nozzle is positioned proximate the latch mechanism lever. The pinch valve is additionally comprised of an operator handle facilitating manual opening of the tube pinching device. The pinching device is rotatable in the valve body. The tube pinching device can be operated electrically or manually.

Abstract: An apparatus for aligned supply of fastening parts into an automatic assembling machine includes a rotary holding claw body, disposed at a lower position of a pressing punch, for gripping the fastening parts supplied in a position of a lateral direction by way of a supply passage, by passing through an intersection of an axial line of the pressing punch and an axial line of the supply passage, and rotating and displacing by a specific angle about a lateral axial line orthogonal to the both axial lines, and positioning and holding the fastening parts coaxially with the pressing punch at a lower position of the pressing punch. The rotary holding claw body has a pair of mutually opposing disk-shaped gripping claws, and the both disk-shaped gripping claws are forced to as to press push springs each other, and the fastening parts are gripped by the both disk-shaped gripping claws.
