Abstract: In an embodiment of the disclosure, there is provided a method to reduce porosity in a composite structure. The method adds an additive to a resin material to form an additive-resin mixture. The method combines the additive-resin mixture with reinforcement fibers to form a composite prepreg material, and in turn, a composite structure. The method heat cures the composite structure in a heating apparatus under a vacuum device at the resin cure temperature, heats the composite structure to an increased temperature above the additive phase transition temperature, and maintains the increased temperature for a time period sufficient. The method reduces the increased temperature back down to the resin cure temperature to allow the additive gas to undergo a phase transition to a condense phase, resulting in a substantially reduced vacuum pressure, resulting in a reduction in a porosity of the composite structure.

Abstract: The invention provides a flake and method for reducing waste heat using water produced when an air conditioner operates and thereby heat exchange efficiency can increase. Accordingly, an energy-saving effect can be achieved. The flake is placed at an inner bottom side of the air conditioner and between a condenser fan and a condenser coil. When the condenser fan operates, wind power created by the condenser fan has a portion blowing toward the flake, and then blowing toward underlying water, produced when the air conditioner operates, along the flake such that the water can move to the condenser coil and cool the condenser coil. Thereby, the temperature of discharged waste heat can be reduced. When the condenser coil cools, heat exchange efficiency increases. Accordingly, an indoor cooling effect can be improved and an energy-saving effect can be achieved.

Abstract: A liquid cooling system cools a central processing unit (CPU). A second temperature sensor detects the state of the CPU. A first temperature sensor detects the state of the liquid cooling system. A liquid cooling system operation control unit determines whether the liquid cooling system is operated. When the liquid cooling system operation control unit determines the liquid cooling system is operated, a CPU power control unit controls power supply to the CPU based on the state detected by the second temperature sensor. When the liquid cooling system operation control unit determines the liquid cooling system is stopped, a liquid cooling system protection controller controls power supply to the CPU based on the state detected by the first temperature sensor.

Abstract: A room enclosure assembly on a base of a concrete ceiling or wall is disclosed. In an embodiment, it includes metal sheet material having contact surfaces toward the base and web faces leading away from the base and heat exchange surfaces. Folding regions are formed between the sub-faces of the sheet material. The contact surfaces are fastened to the base area via a heat conducting connection layer. The heat-exchange faces are provided with a coating layer. The heat flow between the base and the heat exchange surfaces is especially efficient because it takes place in the continuous metal sheet material. Through-openings in the heat exchange surfaces, together with the use of a suitable coating layer on the heat exchange surfaces, allow for the acoustic insulating effect and optical appearance to be optimized.

Abstract: A heat exchanger is provided to efficiently transfer heat between air and a flow of refrigerant in a reversing air-sourced heat pump system. When the system is operating in heat pump mode, a flow of air is directed through the heat exchanger and is heated by the refrigerant. A portion of the flow of air is used to de-superheat the refrigerant in a first section of the heat exchanger, and is prevented from re-heating the sub-cooled refrigerant in another section of the heat exchanger after the remaining air has been heated by the refrigerant. The same heat exchanger can be used to cool a flow of air using expanded refrigerant when the system is operating in an air conditioning (cooling) mode.
