The eyewear articles include at least one eye cover and a backing. The eye cover can be shifted into an eye-covering configuration to protect a user's eye.

Abstract: A garment to for preventing inflammations of the skin between the thighs comprises first portions of the elastic tubular member which have a first thickness. Second portions of the elastic tubular member have a second thickness greater than the first thickness. The first and second portions of the elastic member have an elastic characteristic in a circumferential direction. The first and second portions of the elastic member are interspersed along the surface of the garment to promote the exposure of the thighs underneath the garment to the n of air. A first gripping member or members is disposed along the inner circumference of the tubular member proximate the top of the tubular member. A second gripping member or members disposed along the inner circumference of the tubular member proximate the bottom of the tubular member.

Abstract: Garments are disclosed for use on the lower body, e.g., as an undergarment or athletic shorts or tights. The garments include a plurality of panels made of different materials that together help to protect the wearer and that are designed to enhance the wearer's comfort and performance. In some cases the panels are selected and configured to match the requirements of various body regions and contours.

Abstract: Disclosed is a shin guard device configured to be secured to a user's footwear such that a guard aspect of the device is positioned in front of the user's lower leg. An exemplary embodiment is molded from a relatively thin gauge plastic and includes a lower toe portion, an upper shin guard portion and a fastener device in communication with the lower toe portion. When worn by a user, embodiments of a shin guard device provide for the upper shin guard portion to “float” or “stand” out ahead of the user's lower leg. By floating the upper shin guard portion out ahead of a user's lower leg, the lower leg may be protected from flying debris without hindering the user's mobility or causing undue discomfort.

Abstract: An improved garment pocket system securely holds personal items with easy access to a touch screen feature of an electronic device. A garment includes a pocket system accessible from one or more garment surfaces allowing a user to store an external electronic device therein having a touch control surface. The pocket system includes an access panel which is an optically transmissive and control transmissive panel and a guiding system for receiving and positioning the touch control surface proximate the access panel for a user-access exterior to the pocket system. The improved garment pocket system may be retained proximate the garment surface or may externally descend from the garment surface for greater user control.

Abstract: A method of protecting the thighs utilizing an inventive garment to prevent inflammations of the skin between the thighs comprises wearing a garment with first portions of the elastic tubular member which have a first thickness. Second portions of the elastic tubular member have a second thickness greater than the first thickness. The first and second portions of the elastic member have an elastic characteristic in a circumferential direction. The first and second portions of the elastic member are interspersed along the surface of the garment to promote the exposure of the thighs underneath the garment to the n of air. A first gripping member or members is disposed along the inner circumference of the tubular member proximate the top of the tubular member. A second gripping member or members disposed along the inner circumference of the tubular member proximate the bottom of the tubular member.

Abstract: A garment is described that may be used as a wearable blankets for an infant. The garment may include symmetric tops and bottom pieces having fasteners about the edge. A double sided zip fastener around the sides and bottom permits the wearable blankets to be opened from the bottom or from the side. A snap at one shoulder permits the sack to be easily put on or taken off. An alternative embodiment includes a liner that may be zipped into the inside of the wearable blankets for additional warmth.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a kimono garment for use by a chemotherapy patient to provide greater dignity and comfort during chemotherapy sessions and while traveling to and from sessions. The garment looks similar to a traditional kimono but with the addition of a hatch over the chest area where access to a chemotherapy patient's port is required. The hatch can be opened to enable access to a patient's port without compromising a patient's dignity and can then be closed during a session to provide greater comfort and dignity during a session. The garment also can include enlarged armholes thus easing its adornment and removal by patients suffering from enlarged arm diameters. The kimono garment also does not look like a medical gown, making a patient more inconspicuous when traveling to/and from chemotherapy sessions.

Abstract: A body shaping fit system for pants is based on the concept of actively shaping the body's silhouette. This fit system includes: a stretch coating formulation for fabric that provides stretch in all directions (e.g., four way stretch) in an engineered way to target specific parts of the body, shape contouring panels, cosmetic finishing techniques, and seaming and construction techniques for pants. In a specific implementation, a pair of jeans includes a shape contouring panel incorporated onto an inside of the jeans, the panel including a polyurethane based coating with holding power to enhance the body's natural curves while de-emphasizing the body's flaws. The fit system is also applicable to pants, shorts, capris, and other clothing where shaping and support is desirable in the waist, seat, hip, and thigh areas.

Abstract: A diaper securement accessory is disclosed. The accessory includes a flexible length of material that is adapted to wrap around a diaper. Securement snaps of the accessory are configured to snap into the exposed snap sockets on the front of the diaper. A first free end of the accessory is adapted to overlap an opposing free end and secured to each other using snaps and snap sockets around the back side of the diaper and beyond the toddler's reach. When the diaper securement accessory is firmly secured to the diaper, the toddler is unable to slide the accessory up or down in an effort to take off the diaper. In particular, the right tab and left tab cannot be pulled off the diaper when the accessory is in place.

Abstract: A double-shell helmet is disclosed. The double-shell helmet includes an outer shell, an impact absorbing material layer affixed to the outer shell on a first side of the impact absorbing material layer, an inner shell affixed to the impact absorbing material layer on a second side of the impact absorbing material layer opposite the first side of the impact absorbing material layer, and a foam layer affixed to the inner shell.

Abstract: A helmet structure without any hard outer shell has axially compressible cell units contained in a hemispheric frame by a thin fabric covering stretched over cup shaped cell retainers that have sidewalls of compressible foam. The frame is supported on the wearer's head on plastic foam posts that space the inner ends of compressible bladders from the wearer's head, and ambient air in the bladders compresses at impact, being vented then through openings for gradually absorbing such impact forces. Each bladder is vented into a space between the cup “bottom” and the outer end of a bladder. At least two cell sizes are provided, and some of these are on depending lobes in the frame, for protecting the wearer's ears and neck.

Abstract: Helmet padding systems and apparatuses are disclosed. A helmet padding system includes a helmet shell, a spacing pad, and a plurality of absorption pads. The helmet shell is configured to be positioned on a user's head. The spacing pad is coupled to an interior of the helmet shell. The spacing pad includes a layer of elastomeric material. The spacing pad comprises a central portion coupled to a central region of the helmet shell and a plurality of extending portions projecting outward from the central portion. The absorption pads are coupled to the spacing pad. The absorption pads comprise a first absorption pad coupled to the central portion of the spacing pad and remaining absorption pads coupled to ends of the extending portions of the spacing pad. The padding apparatus includes a spacing pad and a plurality of absorption pads configured to be coupled to an interior of a helmet.

Abstract: A chin strap assembly is provided for use with a sports helmet. The chin strap assembly includes an inner pad member, a strap assembly and an outer protective member. The outer protective member is connected and released from the strap assembly by an attachment member, such as a post. A sports helmet with the chin strap assembly is also provided.

Abstract: A set of hooks or clips disposed on the front of a ski helmet can catch ski goggles and prevent them from sliding off a ski helmet when the goggles are not being worn by the user. The tension of the goggle strap can keep the goggles in place. The goggle grabber design can be used on almost any helmet. The goggle grabber design of the present invention can be made as an add-on to an existing helmet or can be integrated into a helmet design.

Abstract: A toilet plunger device relating to a hydraulic plunger that may be inserted into a toilet to create a seal beyond or below the siphon jet that, further, may employ pressurized water to dislodge a clogged toilet drain. The plunger includes an elongated carrier body with a coupling, a first flange, a second flange, and a resilient foam body. This assembly is connected to an elongated tubular wand that is connected to a trigger valve which, in turn, is connected to a source of pressurized liquid. The foam body is inserted into the toilet drain and creates a tight seal around the drain. The trigger valve then operatively releases a flow of pressurized liquid through the tubular wand and the elongated carrier body to break up debris and clear the drain.

The driving mechanism converts the flush apparatus into water efficient fixture by controlling the amount of daily flushes for ultimate water efficiency.

Abstract: A Bed In Bath Tub bathing equipment for handicapped, ill, elderly, bedridden and other individuals (hereinafter collectively referred to as patient) to receive a tub bath while confined to or laying in a bed. The equipment is placed under the patient in the same manner as changing bedding for these types of patients by rolling the equipment under the patient while they remain in the bed and inflating the equipment around the patient. At least one bed leaving sensing unit is provided on a middle section of the bed surface and connected to an external monitoring device. Each bed leaving sensing unit includes a substrate for correspondingly locking to a top of the support pads, and a plurality of sensors spaced on the substrate and electrically connected to the monitoring device. The bed leaving sensing unit provides pressure data to the monitoring device, and the monitoring device emits an alarm when the pressure data indicates the patient is not lying on the bed, so as to prevent the patient from leaving bed alone or carelessly falling off the hospital bed.

The composition includes a solubilizing oil effective for solubilizing the non-aqueous hair removal composition, e.g., mineral oil, and an effective antibacterial amount of an antibacterial agent, e.g., triclosan. The composition may also include fragrances and additional bacteriocides, e.g., phenoxyethanol. When the applicator is contacted with the heated cleaning composition any hair removal composition and bacteria on the applicator are removed therefrom and the applicator is ready for reuse. It is preferred to use surgical stainless steel applicators. Also provided are methods of using these compositions and kits containing, among other items, such compositions and applicators.
