Abstract: An improved diaphragm type chemical dosing pumps can be designed as both a variable displacement accurate dosing pump and a fixed displacement accurate dosing pump. The improved dosing pump provides a required supply of pressurized fluid, to be called hereafter as process fluid, to an injection point against varying gas or liquid pressures. By eliminating the use of elastomeric sealing, the failing of the pump due to seal wear is eliminated. An internal pressure relief valve protects the pump mechanicals from premature failure. Use of a spring assisted suction assists positive suction for very accurate dosing. The working fluid is a driver fluid that is used to lubricate working components of the pump. The angled ports minimize friction losses to further improve pump efficiency and also eliminate building up of air pockets.

Abstract: A refrigeration system includes a powered barrier or air door that controls air flow between refrigerated compartments. The powered door includes a powered actuator that is electrically connected to and in parallel with an electric heating element configured to melt ice and/or frost that could otherwise interfere with operation of the door. A switch determines if the door is opened or closed and a controller provides electrical power to the powered actuator and the electric heating element until the door shifts to the desired opened or closed position.

Abstract: An aircraft air conditioning system comprises an ambient supply line, an ambient air cooling device connected to the ambient air supply line and adapted to cool ambient air flowing through the ambient air supply line, an ambient air discharge line connected to the ambient air cooling device and being connectable to an aircraft cabin to supply ambient air cooled by the ambient air cooling device to the aircraft cabin, and a refrigerating apparatus. The refrigerating apparatus comprises a refrigerant circuit allowing the flow of a two-phase refrigerant therethrough and is designed to convert the two-phase refrigerant, upon flowing through the refrigerant circuit, from the liquid state of aggregation into the gaseous state of aggregation and thereafter again back from the gaseous state of aggregation into the liquid state of aggregation. The refrigerant circuit of the refrigerating apparatus is adapted to supply cooling energy to the ambient air cooling device.

Abstract: The performance of a transport refrigeration system (12) having a transport refrigeration unit powered by a diesel engine is optimized by matching a capacity output of the transport refrigeration unit to an available shaft power of the diesel engine. The power consumption of the transport refrigeration may be controlled by selectively limiting refrigerant mass flow through the refrigerant circuit of the transport refrigeration unit in response to an operating engine load and an operating speed of the diesel engine.

Abstract: An integrated refrigeration and air conditioning plant working in a cascade cycle with two different refrigerants for the low and high temperature circuits. The low temperature segment works with an ozone friendly synthetic refrigerant with a minimal amount of refrigerant charge, while the upper stage operates with another ozone friendly refrigerant with much lesser global warming potential than the one in the low stage. The upper and/or medium temperature circuit also services the air conditioning needs of the environment where the refrigerated equipment is located, such as the shop floor of a supermarket or a laboratory housing the cabinets that keep refrigerators.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a structure for reducing thermal displacement of a machine tool structure, and more particularly, to a structure for reducing thermal displacement of a machine tool structure capable of reducing thermal displacement of a structure in order to prevent processing precision from deteriorating due to deformation of a fixed structure by heat generated at a part where the fixed structure and a movable structure perform frictional motion together with each other. Accordingly, in order to resolve a technical problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a structure for reducing thermal displacement of a machine tool structure capable of preventing a structure from being deformed and distorted by reducing a temperature deviation over the entire structure by rapidly transferring heat to other parts when a temperature of a specific part of the structure is raised.
