Abstract: A computerized learning fraud prevention system and method for generating a voice signature of a user, such as one engaged in electronic commerce, to prevent fraudulent activities by machines and persons imitating the user. Steps comprise: fetching a signal of a user's signature stored in memory; generating at least one challenge sequence based on the signal to create a second signature; presenting the generated challenge sequence to the user; collecting the user's challenge voice response to the generated challenge sequence; computing a quality factor between the user's challenge response and the generated challenge sequence; computing a transaction quality factor and content quality factor and reporting an impostor or re-challenging if the quality factor is below a threshold. Lastly, generating new signature based on any portion of user's challenge voice response and/or any portion of the previously generated signature and/or any portion of collectable information from user's device memory.

The service provider computer transmits a transaction authorization request and a hold on the sender's payment card account for the remittance amount via a payment card system to the sender's financial institution (FI), receives transaction request approval, and establishes a transaction data record. The service provider computer then transmits the transaction identification code to the sender, receives a transaction identification code and a transaction data record validity request from a receiving FI, provides the transaction data record, and receives the transaction identification code and a newly issued recipient payment card account number from the receiving FI.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computing systems that support authorization of payments to online merchants. The computer receives from the merchant or a financial institution of the merchant (merchant FI) a payment request. The computer determines a customer FI and sends the payment request to the customer FI to cause the customer FI to send to the customer an authorization code. The computer then receives an authorization request associated with the payment having the authorization code as provided by the customer to the merchant. The computer determines the customer FI and sends the authorization request to the customer FI to cause the customer FI to verify the authorization code. In reply the computer receives from the customer FI an authorization confirmation for the payment and sends the authorization confirmation to the merchant or merchant FI.

Abstract: A cryptographic expansion device that can be attached to a communication component of a communication device to enable the communication device to perform cryptographic operations on communications sent to and from the communication device is described. When used with a communication device, the cryptographic expansion device enables the communication device to send and received end-to-end secure encrypted communications. The cryptographic expansion device can be used with a communication device without requiring any changes to the internal software or hardware of the communication device and without requiring any modification to the communication protocols of the communication device. In some embodiments, the end-to-end secure communications enabled by the cryptographic expansion device can be utilized by a user of the communication device to perform financial and/or banking transactions.

Upon receipt of the goods, a receiver is authenticated as the authorized signatory using the verification system. This authentication is based on the stored token matching a provided token. Based on verification of the receiver, the goods are released and the deposited funds from the escrow account are deposited into the seller's account.

In one embodiment, a system includes a computer processor, a network interface, a data storage device, and an output device. The system collects and stores, via the network interface, historical sales information from external data sources. A retail price for a target vehicle is determined based on the collected information. Condition information for the vehicle is collected and used to adjust the retail price to arrive at a wholesale price, which is output to a user. The system may also adjust the price based on repair costs associated with identified vehicle conditions. The system may collect cost information associated with a wholesale sale transaction and deduct these costs and a profit margin from the wholesale price to produce a trade-in price.

Abstract: This invention relates to a refuse collection system and method in which there are provided a plurality of households, each having their own refuse bin, a control centre computer in communication with each of the refuse bins, and a plurality of collection vehicles in communication with the control centre computer. An RFID tag with information regarding the type of refuse is associated with refuse prior to the refuse being placed in the refuse bin. Preferably, the refuse is placed in a dedicated pod with an RFID attached thereto. The bin has an RFID reader that reads the RFID tag, determines what types of refuse are contained within the bin and thereafter transmits the information to the control centre computer. Using this accumulated information, the preservation system can measure, or estimate, changes in nutritional content (usually degradation) during the period of preservation. The computing device acquires long-duration bonds that have characteristics consistent with the strategic plan.
