Abstract: A food cooking apparatus is disclosed. The food cooking apparatus comprises a smoker with a smoker cabinet and an oven with an oven cabinet. The oven typically overlies the smoker. Both the smoker and oven have separate independently controlled heating elements. The walls of the cabinets of the smoker and the oven are adapted such that almost all or no gas passes from the underlying smoker to the overlying oven. This is achieved by having a solid wall between the interior of the oven separating it from the interior of the smoker.

Abstract: A device has an inner wall with a plurality of flow openings and defining a smoking chamber. A solid outer wall surrounds the inner wall to define a flow gap between the inner wall and outer wall. A top cover extends to enclose the smoking chamber and the flow gap from the top. Openings may be provided for air flow into and out of the device.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an apparatus adapted to prepare a cultured food product, such as but not limited to tempeh, from a plant material. The apparatus comprises a housing, a container and at least one heating element. The container holds the plant material, such as a soyfood substrate, and is incubated in the housing whereby the cultured food product, such as a tempeh, is formed. The housing further comprises a controlled airflow wherein the housing is adapted to allow ambient air to flow into and out of the housing during the culturing process.

Abstract: A sealing head for a strapping machine welds steel strapping material to itself in an end-to-end weld. The sealing head includes a body, a drive, an end grip at the inlet to the body, a cutter, a grip clamp and a loop grip downstream of the end grip. The loop grip is carried on a carriage that is movable in a direction along the strap path. A leading end of strap is secured by the end grip and a loop portion of the strap is gripped by the loop grip and severed by the cutter to form a loop end. The loop end is secured by the grip clamp. The loop grip carriage moves the loop end toward the leading end as current is passed though the loop end and the leading end to weld the ends to one another in an end-to-end weld.

When the article is positioned facing the marking head by the at least one carriage-turret, this carriage-turret has a degree of freedom along a direction parallel to the first axis. Abstract: Photocured patterns can be provided using relief printing members such as flexographic printing plates. A photocurable composition has at least one N-oxyazinium salt photoinitiator, a photosensitizer for the N-oxyazinium salt, an N-oxyazinium salt efficiency amplifier, and one or more photocurable acrylates. After the photocurable composition is applied using the relief printing member, it is then exposed to suitable radiation to form a photocured pattern on the substrate.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a machine for marking articles, comprising a marking head suitable for applying a marking force on an article along a marking axis. The marking head comprises a carriage movable in translation along the marking axis and along a transverse axis, which is perpendicular to the marking axis (X10). The water-developable laminate of photosensitive resin according to the present invention is characterized in that at least a support, an adhesive layer, a photosensitive resin layer containing a water-soluble polymer compound and an adhesion-preventing layer are successively laminated, and that the adhesion-preventing layer contains a cellulose derivative.

Abstract: Provided are web-offset lithographic ink compositions that contain an alkyl thioether surfactant, an alkoxylated modified rosin, or a combination thereof. The ink compositions can be oil-based inks or water-based inks that can be radiation-curable. The resulting ink compositions can be used in web-offset lithographic printing to substantially reduce or eliminate the ink feedback and ink build-up that occurs during printing. Also provided are methods for reducing or eliminating ink feedback and build-up during lithographic printing processes.

Abstract: A print material pattern is formed on a receiver element using an elastomeric relief element having a relief pattern. A printable material composition is applied only to the uppermost relief surface of the elastomeric relief element and at least at least 50 weight % of a carrier liquid is removed. A receiver element has a print material receptive layer having a dry thickness of 0.05-10 ?m and is heated. During contact of the print material composition on the uppermost relief surface and the heated receiver element, the elastomeric relief element is compressed to provide sufficient contact with the receiver element. The elastomeric relief element is then separated from the heated receiver element to leave a pattern of the functional material on the heated receiver element, wherein at least 70 weight % of the original print material is transferred to the heated receiver element.

The assembly of one embodiment includes a projectile, a body having a first end portion coupled to the projectile and a second end portion opposite the first end portion. The body is made of a combustible material configured to be consumed upon firing the ammunition round assembly. A sleeve is at least partially contained within the base. The sleeve has a free end portion radially to adjacent to and coupled to the second end portion of the body. The sleeve and the body defines an interior area configured to contain a combustible propellant. A non-combustible base at least partially is coupled to the sleeve and is adjacent to the second end portion of the body.

Abstract: A replaceable bullet cartridge that includes a primer and a cylindrical BB pellet positioned approximately ¼ th of an inch away from the primer. The BB pellet is secured in position with a piece of paper wadding set within the replaceable bullet cartridge which is fired from the replaceable bullet cartridge with the BB pellet when the primer is struck. There is no gun powder or propellant used in combination with the primer when using the replaceable bullet cartridge. The BB pellet and the piece of paper wadding are fired from the second end of the casing without a selected one of gun powder and expander propellant when the loaded primer is struck by a hammer. The resulting speeds of the BB pellet are in the range of 700 to 800 feet per second.

A crossover car includes components to steer the rail to a right or left side of the machine for processing and loading. A processing car includes a cutting station, drill station, crane, and secondary drive unit. The drill station is retractably stowed below a walkway to provide workspace for an operator to install joining plates on segments of rail. The secondary drive unit is disposed opposite the cutting and drill stations from the primary drive unit such that separate sections of rail on opposite sides of a cut or joint can be driven independently.

The guide box guides a rail from a ground location toward a drive unit and can be provided with actuators to enable steering of the rail. A bottom door device and a drop-bottom hopper car are further provided. In the present invention, the first locking hook and the second locking hook are caught with each other to achieve a secondary locking. Such an arrangement has some advantages such as a simple structure and low manufacture and maintenance costs.

Abstract: A water-based ink for use in a computer-to-plate inkjet printing and a preparation method therefor. A polymer of 5 to 40 wt %, an additive of 0.01 to 10 wt %, a dye or pigment of 0.01 to 10 wt %, an organic solvent of 1 to 30 wt %, an anti-foaming agent of 0 to 5 wt %, and deionized water are stirred and mixed at room temperature. When the polymer is dissolved, the mixed solution is filtered. The filtrate is the water-based ink. The water-based ink is sprayed via a computer-to-plate machine onto a surface of a metal substrate (which may be an aluminum plate, a zinc plate, or a copper plate) to form a graphic region. A printing plate allowing for computer-to-plate printing is acquired after solidification. The printing plate acquired is allowed to achieve a halftone dot reproduction rate between 2 and 99% and a recognition rate of 175 lpi.

The entire weigh batch blend plant can be disassembled and moved. A special pressurized air bearing is used in the blender.

The system comprises: an economiser 22 for producing high pressure hot water in a hot water circuit from heat exchange with a hot gas stream carrying waste heat; a boiler 26 which is heated by the high pressure hot water to produce steam; and an ammonia stripper 32. The ammonia stripper 32 has a leachate inlet 56 connected to a leachate flow path, and an ammonia containing gas outlet 36, at an upper end thereof. A leachate discharge outlet 72 is provided which is connected to a leachate discharge flow path 74, and a steam inlet 70 is provided which is connected to the boiler 26 by a conduit. At a lower end of the ammonia stripper there is a forced air inlet 68. A randomly packed bed 60, 64 located between the upper end and the lower end. In use there is a flow of steam and air in one direction and of leachate in the opposite direction which releases ammonia from the leachate.

In a situation in which a torsion member is not loaded horizontally by a respective mooring line its bearing member does not engage the ring.
