Abstract: To ensure precise charging of a coolant into a cooling system (6) via a hose (4), temperature sensors (Ts and Te) and pressure sensors (Ps and Pe) are mounted at the inlet side and/or outlet side of the hose (4). A signal may be applied from these sensors to a computer (11), which is capable of calculating the amount pumped through the hose (4) and thereby controlling it via a valve (5). It is ensured in this manner that the charged amount is determined on the basis of its density and not, as was previously the case, solely on the basis of a weight control.

Abstract: An inline washing system to be formed from a tunnel-type washing machine (10) which both rinses and removes water from the items of laundry. However, rinsing and simultaneously also water removal can also be performed in the downstream spin-dryer (18) or water-removal press. It has been found that the rinsing performance is better and fresh water can be saved on account of the invention. By virtue of the invention, it is possible to wash relatively small amounts of laundry using a tunnel-type washing machine (10) in an economical manner. The tunnel-type washing machine (10) can be designed to be shorter and also simpler if it is designed without a rinse zone.

The solvent is a non-polar or polar aprotic solvents, such as ethyl acetate. The non-solid products, an oil/solvent mixture, within the sludge are separated and transferred to at least one evaporator with a concentration of between 5-25% oil in the solvent. The oil and solvent are is separated in one or more evaporators to remove approximately 80%-90%, and preferably 70%-95%, of the solvent. Abstract: Provided are an extrusion press and control method for an extrusion press, provided with a means which can prevent phenomena in which a billet is blown out during an extrusion process as well as prevent billet blowout with a simple and inexpensive constitution. The extrusion press drives a main cylinder device (12) to extrude, by means of a stem (24), a billet (20) filled into a container (18) from a die (16) and form a product (20A). A gap measurement means (60) that measures a gap, during the extrusion process, arising at the container seal surface formed by pressing the die side end surface of the container (18) against the container side end surface of the die (16) is provided on an end platen (10) on the outer edge part of the container side end surface of the die (16). When the gap arising during the extrusion process is measured and the measured value is within a predetermined range of allowable values, a set value for the extrusion rate is lowered and a warning is issued.
