    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an LCD panel comprises: (a) continuously feeding an LC cell comprising first and second substrates, the first substrate being relatively less susceptible to electrostatic decay than the second substrate, (b) laminating a first polarizing plate to the first substrate of the LC cell while avoiding direct contact between the first laminating member and the first substrate; (c) laminating a second polarizing plate to the second substrate with the first substrate being in contact with a second laminating member through the first polarizing plate laminated to the first substrate in the step (b) while avoiding direct contact between the second laminating member and the first substrate, thereby obtaining an LCD panel, and (d) conducting an inspection of the LCD panel without applying voltage, wherein steps (a), (b), (c) and (d) are performed sequentially in a single continuous feed line.

The system includes a conveyor for transporting a row of containers, a sleeving unit for arranging sleeves around containers and a heat oven for attaching the sleeve around the container by heat shrinking. The conveyed containers are provided with a sleeve and the sleeved container is transported in the oven to allow the sleeve to shrink. According to the invention, part of the sleeve is removed using a removal unit. The part is removed after heat shrinking. Removing the part allows to uncover part of the container otherwise covered by sleeve.

    Abstract: A method for producing clad duct from a laminate is disclosed. The laminate is a sheet of thermoplastic material bonded to an insulative foam board. V-shaped grooves are formed in the foam board, opposite the sheet. The sheet is heated in the vicinity of one of the grooves, until pliable. The sheet is then bent, where it has become pliable, to close the groove. The heated and bent sheet is then cooled until it is no longer pliable and retains its bent shape. The heating, bending, and cooling steps are repeated for the other grooves until edges of the laminate are brought together. The edges are then sealed.

Also described herein are methods for making and using the tissue grafts. A carrier substrate carrying a micro device connected to a bonding layer is heated to a temperature below a liquidus temperature of the bonding layer, and a transfer head is heated to a temperature above the liquidus temperature of the bonding layer.
