Abstract: A method and an article of manufacture are disclosed for reinforcing various structures with only partially accessible circumference, such as columns closely adjacent to or protruding out of a wall or beams holding a ceiling. Some of these structures may be partly or completely submerged in water, such as retaining walls on the sides of rivers and water-ways. In some embodiments a prefabricated shell will fully or partly cover the exposed and reachable part of the structure and will be secured in place by various means. The shell may hug the structure tightly or loosely and the space between the shell and the structure may be filled with such curable materials as glue, epoxy, grout, concrete and the like. In various embodiments additional reinforcement such as rebar may be placed in the space between the shell and the structure.

An articulating assembly is attached to the mounting frame for moving the snowplow blade when the snowplow blade is attached to the mounting frame, the articulating assembly is fluidly connected to the hydraulic pump, and the articulating assembly includes a lift cylinder and a hydraulic manifold. The hydraulic manifold includes a downforce circuit that fluidly isolates the lift cylinder from the hydraulic pump when a first control valve is closed and the downforce circuit fluidly connects a lift chamber of the lift cylinder with a lower chamber of the lift cylinder to maintain equal hydraulic pressure in the lift chamber and in the lower chamber.

Abstract: A mechanical system (1) includes a support (10), a tooth (20) and a device (30) for interconnecting the two components. The device includes an elastic sheath (40) having an inner cavity (48) and an outer wall (44) adjustable in a housing (14) of the support, and a key (50) adjustable in the cavity. The sheath and the key can be rotated together in a fixed manner about a pivoting axis in the housing, between an insertion configuration and a locking configuration, thereby forming a coupling connection between the tooth and the support. The inner cavity extends into the sheath along an eccentric axis that is radically staggered in relation to the pivoting axis. The inner cavity is provided with elements for rotatably securing to driving elements (59) arranged on the key. A heavy-construction machine bucket including such a system, and a method for implementing such a system are also described.

Abstract: The present application relates to a steam generator iron. The steam generator iron has a steam passageway along which steam flows, the steam passageway having a first section (13) and a second section (16) extending from the first section (13). A flow stabilising element (24, 35, 38) is disposed at the transition of the steam passageway from the first section (13) to the second section (16). Therefore, the generation of noise at the transition and the flow resistance in the steam passageway is minimised as steam flows along the steam passageway. The present application also relates to an insert for a steam generator iron.
