Abstract: A puncture resistant animal handling glove includes a gauntlet and a dorsal hand portion made of a puncture resistant material; a palm portion and a thumb portion made of a flexible gripping material; and a plurality of finger portions made of the puncture resistant material and the flexible gripping material. The gauntlet, dorsal hand portion, palm portion, thumb portion, and the plurality of finger portions are secured together to form a unitary construction. Selected areas of the palm portion, the thumb portion and the plurality of finger portions made of the flexible gripping material are further made of a reinforcement material disposed on an inside of the flexible gripping material. The puncture resistant material provides a high degree of protection against animal bites and scratches and the flexible gripping material provides flexibility and dexterity while gripping an animal.

Abstract: A protective shroud for a welding helmet. The shroud includes fabric that may be arranged to form an open-ended continuous loop. The loop may be sized to cover at least a portion of a user's neck. The shroud may also include one or more fasteners. Each fastener may be connected to the fabric and removably securable to the welding helmet. In other embodiments, a kit including a protective shroud, and a welding helmet including a protective shroud.

Abstract: The invention relates to a romper suit for crawling babies, characterised in that it is made by using two types of fabric, namely: an inner fabric made from 100% cotton or a cotton and polyester mixture, which protects the baby's skin or clothing; and an outer mesh-type fabric made from 100% polyester or 100% nylon. The romper suit is provided with: a bies tape around the neck and armholes, which is made of the inner fabric; an elastic material sewn between the first and second fabrics at the waist, ankles and cuffs; protectors at the knees and the soles of the feet, comprising an inner padded layer and an outer ant-slip layer; and closing snaps or buttons on the upper part of the shoulder. The romper suit can be made with or without sleeves.

Abstract: A sweatband for use on the hand and wrist is provided. The sweatband provides a surface on the back of a user's hand which may be utilized by a person to wipe sweat or perspiration. Thus, the back of the hand (opisthenar or dorsal surface of the hand) is used when wiping perspiration. The sweatband is constructed such that a first band portion wraps around a user's wrist and a second band portion wraps around the palm and back portion of a user's hand. In one embodiment the sweatband may be constructed of an elongated piece of material that is looped to form the first and second band portions. In one embodiment, a sweatband is interchangeable for use with the left or right hand. In one embodiment the sweatband is reversible.

Abstract: A moisture control garment formed of a material that has moisture wicking (hydrophobic) properties joined to another material that has moisture absorbing (hydrophilic) properties. In certain embodiments, the moisture wicking and moisture absorbing materials are of similar thickness, have the same estimated shrinkage percentage, and the fibers of such materials are positioned in the same direction.

Abstract: My invention is unique in its function. It is one simple garment which can be worn by women and reconfigured into seven different style garments including four different dress styles and three different skirt styles. There are no hooks Velcro, zippers or buttons. Because of its simplicity it is cost efficient to manufacture.

Abstract: The present invention includes an apparatus for protecting a baby or toddler from the elements. The apparatus is a blanket having an interior surface, an exterior surface. The perimeter of the blanket is includes a base edge with opposite ends, two side edges extending from opposite ends of the base edge, and a pair of intersecting top edges, with one top edge extending from each side edges. A hood is disposed on the interior surface of the blanket in an area where the top edges intersect, and an adjustable length strap secured to the blanket and disposed along the bottom edge.

Abstract: Described is a therapeutic neck pad having an elongated strap with a widened central portion. The widened central portion can be placed on the front of a user's neck and covers a substantial portion thereof. The widened central portion includes an absorbent pad on which ointments, creams, lotions, or any desired topical medication can be placed. The absorbent pad brings the ointment into contact with a user's neck and provides a soft and comfortable surface for the user. The ends of the elongated strap have fasteners thereon. The neck pad can be wrapped around a user's neck and the ends of the elongated strap can be overlapped and secured together by means of the fasteners on each end.

Abstract: This invention relates to a survival device, namely a hat that has pockets and/or openings to allow a user to shade, protect, warm/cool, and hydrate the user. Specifically, this survival device comprises a hat having a crown portion adaptable to fit a user's head as desired and at least one pocket extending lower than the crown of the hat and which extending to covers a user's neck and adaptable to be equipped with a warming or cooling device.

Abstract: A leg wear apparatus including at least one side portion having first and second ends and positioned between front and rear portions, where the first end of the at least one side portion is attached to a waistband. The leg wear includes at least one leg portion that expands along a leg of a wearer, wherein the at least one leg portion is attached to the second end of the at least one side portion. The leg wear further includes a sleeve that expands along a thigh of the wearer, where the sleeve is attached to the at least one leg portion. The sleeve may extend upwards along the thigh to permit placement of a brace over the leg of the wearer. The exhaust apparatus suctions air and aerosol particles from the toilet bowl to prevent lingering odor in the restroom and areas proximate to the restroom. Embodiments of the disclosed odor extractor are installed either independently of the toilet seat or incorporated in the toilet seat manufacturing process. Exemplary models fit any make of toilet seat and are interchangeable between toilet seats. The disclosed odor extractor is low in both noise and vibration.

Abstract: A device to reduce the size of objects in the toilet and then to plunge the objects from the toilet bowl if necessary. Prior art devices attempt to remove blockages from the pipe of a toilet or drain. The present invention reduces the size of objects to the point they can be flushed easily without the need to place unwanted pressure on the plumbing or the toilet itself. The size of the objects is quickly reduced by moving the cutting blade up and down then flushing to remove all debris present.

The plurality of air chambers, when inflated by the pumping system, are configured to compress foam inserts disposed within the plurality of compartments so as to increase the density of the foam inserts. This arrangement has applications in both the consumer and medical airbed contexts, as well as in other support system contexts, such as seat cushions for chairs.

Abstract: A means consisting of a first and a second kneadable and shapeable compound to be used separately is proposed for cleaning interdental toothbrushes. The two compounds have the same basic composition, namely comprising hydroxypropylated polygalactomanan and 75% by weight to 97% by weight bound water and a liquid antiseptic solvent component, wherein the first kneadable and shapeable compound contains primarily active ingredients with a sterilizing effect, while the second kneadable and shapeable compound contains active ingredients for dental care having disinfectant and antiseptic properties. The first kneadable and shapeable compound serves to clean the interdental toothbrush and picks up the solid particles adhering to the toothbrush. It also serves to sterilize the interdental toothbrush while the second kneadable and shapeable compound contains mainly antiseptic means, such that the active ingredients are dispensed to the interdental toothbrush before its use and/or reuse.
