Abstract: To produce a temperature difference in the thermoelectric conversion module, a tabular member of the cooling side arranged side of the thermoelectric conversion module is fitted in a uniform pressed condition on the thermoelectric conversion module. In the airtight container in which the flow tube penetrates the housing and the thermoelectric conversion module is arranged in the reduced pressure space between the housing and the flow tube, a tabular member of the cooling side of the housing corresponding to the thermoelectric conversion module is formed by the thin plate that is flexible, and the thermoelectric conversion module is sandwiched between the thin plate and the flow tube. The thin plate contacts the thermoelectric conversion module in a pressed condition by reducing pressure in the reduced pressure space, and the thin plate deforms by following the shape of the thermoelectric conversion module and fits due to its flexibility.

The assembly is movable between a first configuration in which the first and second connectors are coupled and together define a fluid path through which fluid is flowable, and a second configuration in which the first and second connectors are axially separated. The assembly is configured to move from the first configuration to the second configuration when a sufficient separation force is applied to the assembly, and to be moved from the second configuration to the first configuration when a sufficient connecting force is applied to the assembly.

Abstract: A piston has a closure face closing off a cavity defined radially inwardly and downstream of an upstream end. The closure face is spaced from the upstream end by a first distance. The piston has a cavity extending in a downstream direction away from an opposed side of the closure face to a second end. A piston diameter is defined to an outer periphery of a cylindrical portion forming a seal face. A ratio of the piston diameter to the first distance is between 3.05 and 6.31. A valve sleeve has windows formed to allow flow of fluid from a sleeve internal bore through the windows and to a downstream port. A ratio of the inner diameter to the axial dimension of the windows is between 0.91 and 1.02. A ratio of the inner diameter to a circumferential dimension of the windows is between 1.55 and 1.85.

Abstract: A control valve for hydraulic media is provided. The control valve includes a valve body having four ports. A first seat, a second seat, and a dual seat are positioned in the valve body between the ports. Two poppets, each including a disc and a cup, with a spring located therebetween, are arranged on a cylindrical pin with an enlarged engagement portion that is slidably supported within the valve body. A solenoid assembly movable in an axial direction within the valve body contacts the cylindrical pin and adjusts the position of the discs and cups of the poppets with respect to the seats of the valve body to minimize unwanted leakage between the ports. This configuration comprises four variable orifices that cooperate to provide controlled flow during different energizing phases of the solenoid assembly.

Abstract: Embodiments of the Water Supply Conduit Heating are comprised of a control apparatus and a delivery apparatus. The control apparatus is comprised of two electrically actuated solenoid valves, a pump, a hot water connection, a cold water connection, an electronic control, a temperature sensor, and a double-pipe source connection. The two electrically actuated solenoid valves are controlled by the electronic control. As the temperature of the fluid inbound from the source varies, the electronic control adjusts the mix of hot water and cold water from the hot water connection and the cold water connection to provide an appropriate temperature fluid to the outbound fluid to the source connection. The electronic control is used to measure the temperature of the fluid in the conduit and to direct fluid into the conduit as required to control fluid temperature.

Abstract: A device for accumulating, isolating, indicating and venting accumulated gas in a fluid system pipe includes a main pipe fitting affixed to a system pipe in which a hole has been drilled. A standpipe attached to the pipe fitting houses a magnetic float. A magnetic-float level indicator exterior to the pipe indicates the magnetic float's level. A valve attached to the standpipe above the magnetic float allows controlled ventilation of the gas in the standpipe and thus in the piping system. G ras from the system pipe accumulates in the standpipe, removed from the primary fluid flow path of the system pipe. In the standpipe, as the liquid/gas interface drops, the float drops to a pre-determined level, at which point the user vents the gas from the piping system, causing the magnetic float to rise indicating that gas is again at acceptable levels in the piping system.
