Abstract: Frictional Non Rocking Seismic Base Isolator For Structure Seismic Protection (FNSI) is a seismic protection isolator installed under foundations or columns of a building or other structure. FNSI separates a building or other structures from ground seismic motions and passes slight fraction of seismic forces to the superstructures so that the superstructure protected from earthquake induced damages. FNSI consists of three main parts, a Sliding Hammer fixed into ground, a Rotating Anvil, RA, and a Hook fixed to the superstructure, wherein contacted moving surfaces are so smooth for effective isolation. Seismic motions shake the sliding hammer which imitates ground motions and causes RA to rotate around center of the Hook convex or concave, and to simultaneously vibrate in vertical direction. RA movements cause the isolated superstructure to move vertically and slightly horizontally where the vertical vibrations can be accommodated by increase in material strength when responding to short term loading.

Abstract: A ceiling trim can be used as a track for wiring is formed of two extruded components where the first defines an angle member for engaging the ceiling and the wall and the second defines a front face portion forming a required shape of the crown molding and having a side edges thereof arranged to be located at or closely adjacent the ceiling and the wall. The components are fastened together by strip members on the second which engage behind clip portions. A third component which carries a track to receive clips bridges the corner of the first component and fastens across flanges. This can be removed and replaced by spaced clips. The spacing of the two components can be adjusted to change a spacing of the side edges from the wall to allow illumination to escape.

Abstract: In a beam-connection member 9, the bottom surface side is a column-connection surface 14 and one side surface is a beam-mounting surface 16. In other words, the column-connection surface 14 and the beam-mounting surface 16 are formed to be substantially perpendicular. The column-connection surface 14 is the site of connection with a surface of the column. A depression 15 is formed on the column-connection surface 14. The depth of the depression 15 is preferably at least half of the main body thickness of the beam-connection member 9. Further, a notch 11 is formed across the width direction on the column-connection surface 14. The notch 11 is to avoid interference with the diaphragm. Near the notch 11, a rib 17 is provided in the depression 15 as necessary in the width direction. The rib 17 is for preventing deformation of the beam-connection member and for reinforcing the beam-connection member.

The components of the house such as the finished product main frame, the finished product enclosed wall, the finished product floor cover plate, the finished product top cover plate and the finished product stair are finished product industrially constructed in different manufactories, and then transported to the constructing location respectively, and then assembled at the base of the house, so as to form a house constructed from finished product components. By using finished product components, the construction of the house has high efficiency, good quality, less material consumption and shorter construction period. Furthermore, comparing with traditional site operation, constructing house from finished product components is more environment-friendly.

Abstract: A panel for a building form made of insulating material such as polystyrene is integrated with a reinforcing member for enabling the panel to resist deformation due to forces applied against its concrete-facing surface. Reinforcement of floor/roof panels is beneficial to reduce the amount of, or eliminate the need for, shoring for supporting the weight of wet concrete or workers. The reinforcement resists against deformation due to cracking, splitting etc. Reinforcement is likewise beneficial for wall forms where the weight of concrete asserts significant pressure against the concrete-facing surface of the form, in order to resist deformation of the wall forms under pressure. The reinforcing member may be made of a plastic material such as polypropylene or high-impact polystyrene. Methods of manufacturing reinforced form panels are disclosed.
