Abstract: A conducting wire terminal seat comprises a main body which includes a first body and a second body. The first and second bodies respectively have a chamber for allowing an entry of high and low current (or voltage) conducting wires which is then electrically connected to metal units in respective chambers. A height (or length) of the first body is larger than a height (or length) of the second body, so that a distance from the first body to an operating area is smaller than a distance from the second body to the operating area. Therefore, the operator operates the loading and unloading operation of the high and low current conducting wires under a safer circumstance.

Sole access to the enclosure, and the shooter's station therein, is through the open front end. Air circulation and filtration is supplemented by generating an air curtain across the open front end. Air venting and filtration of inside air is at a rate of 6 times per minute and provides a flow of clean air from back to front of the enclosure through a pressurized plenum in the back wall designed to create a uniform flow through the shooter's station. An auxiliary venting outlet in the top or ceiling of the enclosure provides a negative air pressure inside the enclosure so contaminated air escaping through the open front end is minimized.

Abstract: A critical parameter monitoring system for improving the safety of personnel working in a remotely located hazardous location possibly containing combustible materials include an oxygen and a temperature sensor carried by the personnel. The sensors are connected to a centrally located processor which displays the oxygen level and temperature present at the sensors and issues a warning when the measured parameters exceed preset levels. The monitoring system may be a part of a breathing apparatus which supplies air and voice communications from the centralized location to personnel working in a vessel purged with an inert gas. The measured oxygen level may also be used to conserve the quantity of inert gas used in the purging process while preserving the safety of the workers.

Abstract: The present application discloses a method of converting a single zone HVAC system to a multi-zoned HVAC system. More specifically, the present application discloses coupling at least one interface module to at least one controller of a heating unit, cooling unit, and blower assembly. Further, at least one thermostat may be positioned within each desired zone of a multi-zoned structure. The user may then position at least one register on at least one terminus of a duct within each zone. Thereafter, each thermostat within each zone is associated or linked via a communication channel or network with at least one register within the same zone, thereby forming at least one thermostat/register regime within each zone of a structure. The interface module may then be associated with the various thermostat/register regimes.

Abstract: A mobile device includes a computer-readable medium storing computer program instructions, a data processor to execute the instructions, and communication circuitry configured for local area wireless connectivity with neighboring mobile devices and for wireless connectivity to a remote server from which at least a portion of a data set is downloaded. Execution of the computer program instructions results in estimating a cost to perform a computation task on the data set. If the estimated cost is greater than a threshold cost, an ad-hoc wireless network is formed with at least one other mobile device and the mobile device downloads a portion of the data set assigned to the mobile device. The mobile device then performs a computation task on the downloaded portion of the data set and wirelessly transfers a result of the computation task to the at least one other mobile device of the ad-hoc wireless network.

Abstract: A system and method for mitigating interference between two or more inductive systems. Interference can be mitigated by, in response to an interference causing event, temporarily adjusting operation of one or more of the inductive sub-systems to reduce interference. A controller can receives communication from multiple inductive systems and instruct the systems to operate so as to reduce interference. The inductive systems can coordinate to operate out of phase with respect to one another to reduce interference. Communication from a data transfer inductive system can be mimicked by another inductive system so that both systems transmit the communication. Interference between multiple inductive systems can be mitigated by specific physical positioning of the transmitters of the inductive sub-systems.
