Abstract: A modular protection helmet (1; 1A) has an internal cap (2) including a padding layer (6) and modular components at will, and including an external cap (3) which can be removably and interchangeably fixed to the internal cap (2) and adapted to provide the desired protection level for civil use, and preferably the helmet includes a second external cap (3A), which can be equally removably and interchangeably fixed to the internal cap (2) and adapted to provide a ballistic protection level, wherein the first (3) and second (3A) external caps can be replaced at will by the user as a function of the use from time to time intended for the helmet through removable coupling elements (10, 11).

Abstract: A disposable tubular wrist/arm protector includes at least one longitudinally extending flap in the direction of the longitudinally extending axis of the tubular assembly. The assembly having a substrate having at least one layer. The flap may be formed by folding portions of the assembly laterally inward. The flap may have at least one layer. A longitudinally extending elastic gathering member is attached to the unattached portion of the flap. The elastic gathering member contracts and raise the flap to form a side barrier, thereby an “O” shape is formed by the unattached portion of the flap in the tubular shape wrist/arm protector. The assembly may be absorbent, may be non-absorbent or partially absorbent and non-absorbent. The main focus of absorption and/or a protective barrier is the entry area of a wrist/arm protector, the flap acts as a block to the interior and/or exterior of the wrist/arm protector to absorb or repel as needed for its purpose.

Abstract: An article of apparel has a surface with a first part of a fastening system, and an attachment element has an outer area with a second part of the fastening system. The first part of the fastening system is joinable to the second part of the fastening system to attach the attachment element to the apparel. The first part of the fastening system is also separable from the second part of the fastening system to separate the attachment element from the apparel. The attachment element may be formed from a polymer foam material, may include a fluid-filled chamber, or may incorporate an electronic device, for example. In some configurations, the attachment element is secured to an exterior of the apparel. In other configurations, the attachment element is secured between two layers of the apparel.

Abstract: A protective knee band having a tube-shaped band with protective front knee area. The tube shaped band can be a multi-layer band with elastic bands on each end. The protective front knee area can include an additional cushion layer and a flexible rubberized pad. The protective knee band allows the skin under the band to breathe while protecting the knee. The band also can easily be pushed down the leg from the knee to the ankle when not required and then pulled back up to the knee when required.

Abstract: A multi-purpose garment cover comprising a generally rectangular body with a centrally disposed aperture. The rectangular body is a thin, flexible, waterproof structure sized to cover the entire upper body of a user when the multi-purpose garment cover is worn by the user. The aperture is defined by an arcuate shape at a first side and an angled shape at a second side. The aperture is the portion of the multi-purpose garment cover through which a user's head passes when the multi-purpose garment cover is put on or taken off by a user. The distinct shapes of the opposing first side and second side allow the aperture to be aligned on a user in a plurality of distinct positions on a user.

Abstract: This invention discloses an adjustable maternity garment, including the front garment piece, rear garment piece, bandage and insert. The bandage is used to connect the front piece and the rear piece, and under the bandage an insert is provided, and one edge of the insert is connected with the front piece and the other edge with the rear piece. At connection edges of both front and rear pieces, eyelets are set up for the bandage to lace the two pieces. This invention discloses an adjustable maternity garment by bandage to connect the front and rear garment pieces' edges to meet the different requirement for the looseness at different periods.

Abstract: A children's garment and blanket system includes, in one embodiment, pajamas having a series of snaps (or other means of attachment) attached at various locations thereon, together with a blanket, quilt, or other covering having a series of corresponding snaps (or other corresponding means of attachment), so that the blanket may be affixed to the pajamas in order to hold it in place while the child is sleeping, and prevent the child from kicking the blanket off during the night. Multiple blankets may be removably attached together, and may further be removably attached to the pajamas. Alternatively, a single blanket or cover may be removably attached to multiple garments worn by multiple children.

One embodiment can include features for positioning the baby's arms in pockets in first and second arm wings and wrapping the arm wings. Abstract: A garment used for medical purposes is disclosed. The garment may include one or more slits or openings strategically positioned therein, so that medical equipment may be inserted through the slits, which provide access to a patient's body or skin. The slits may be positioned along the sides of the garment, and may include attachment means, such as snaps, buttons, hook and loop fasteners, or any other suitable means. A slit may also be positioned on the front or back portion of the garment so that medical equipment may be inserted through the slit to make contact with a wearer's body, it may further be covered by a pocket flap that may open to allow access to the slit and close to allow coverage and further allow for the storage of wires or tubes that remain connected to wearer's body but not connected to their associated medical equipment.

Abstract: In a brassiere hook cover, a small pocket is sewn or otherwise affixed to the interior surface of the brassiere, adjacent to the hook section of a hook and eye closure. When the user is ready to launder the brassiere, the user opens the pocket flap and turns the pocket inside out, such that the hook section of the hook and eye closure is contained within the pocket. This prevents the hook section from becoming entangled with other items. The pocket and pocket flap feature a smooth, low-profile construction to remain invisible under the user's dress, blouse, or other outer garments.

Abstract: Disclosed is an adhesive pocket that can removably attach to an article of clothing or directly onto a user's skin underneath clothing. The pocket of the present invention comprises closed side ends, a closed lower end, and an open upper end that provides access to a defined interior volume therein. In one embodiment, the open upper end comprises a flap attached thereto, wherein the flap comprises a first fastener at an underside thereof. The first fastener can be removably secured to a second fastener on the pocket so as to securely close the upper end. In another embodiment, the open upper end comprises a zip-lock enclosure. The pocket can attach to an article of clothing or onto the user's skin by means of an adhesive material disposed on a back side of the pocket. Additionally, the pocket is waterproof so as to keep the contents therein dry.

The first region is formed of a first inner layer and a first outer layer, and the second region is formed of the first inner layer and does not include the first outer layer. The first inner and outer layers are formed of first and second materials having first and second durometer values measured on a hardness scale, respectively. The second durometer value is greater than the first durometer value. The inner surface of the pad assembly engages the article.

Abstract: A pad for a garment includes a one piece structure comprising interconnected elements made from a compressible material. The elements are arranged such that, when the pad is in a non-deformed state, each element is spaced apart from adjacent elements by a void. The elements are interconnected such that when the pad is deformed, a zigzag arrangement of at least three elements is formed and/or a void enclosed by at least two adjacent elements expands.

Abstract: Falling causes serious injury to the body and is a leading cause of death in the elderly. An external belt placed over the waist comprises an inertia system and expandable modules. These modules contain packed air bags and can be expanded in size by orders of magnitude using an air tank. The modules are selected by the inertia system that senses the direction of the fall. The selected module is filled with air from the air tank generating a protective mattress which can be used to cushion their fall. Serious injury to the body can be reduced or even prevented. The module instead can contain an expandable support structure to reach the floor and act as a “third leg”. This support structure may be used by the individual to gain control of the individual's balance and stabilize the individual allowing a re-capture of balance and preventing the fall from occurring.

The toilet cleaning apparatus having a bubble supply mechanism includes a mixture tank in which raw water supplied from a raw water supply unit, air introduced from an air supply unit, and a cleaning solution supplied from a cleaning solution supply unit are mixed and accommodated, a bubble generation unit provided in the mixture tank and generating bubbles with the raw water, air, and the cleaning solution by using an impeller, and a bubble discharging unit connected to the mixture tank and discharging bubbles generated by the bubble generation unit to the toilet bowl to cover water stored in the toilet.

The toilet seat handle is affixed to the toilet seat cover, and selectively engages the toilet seat to lift the cover and the seat individually or together. Because the handle mechanism is affixed to the front of the cover, when the toilet is being used, with the seat up or down, the handle mechanism is well away from the toilet, such that the handle mechanism remains clean and sanitary.

The at least two angled portions and the rounded corner are configured to deflect urine striking the rear wall such that the urine remains within the internal cavity.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods of installation and use of drain and drain concealment structures. The preferred embodiment involves a method of installing and using a mortar drain base, threaded invertible membrane clamp, threaded flanged pipe, and drain cover when installed in a handmade mortared shower bed, or using a threaded pan drain base, threaded flanged pipe, and drain cover when installed on a prefabricated shower pan. The drain body may be connected to the shower bed or shower pan by any suitable means, such as but not by way of limitation by being integrally molded therewith during the manufacture of the pan, by connection post-manufacture, or in situ in the field. The cover, which is defined by a peripheral edge supported by horizontal cantilevered posts, is adapted to lie in registry with, and thereby cover, the drain aperture perforating the threaded flanged pipe. In this way, water is permitted to exit the shower or bath without the drain aperture being visible.

Abstract: The invention comprises of a device that allows health care providers to position the body of a patient for progression of labor, for assistance in fetal resuscitation, and for other medical procedures. The device has inflatable chambers that assist the labor and delivery health care provider in turning a patient onto her right or left side while laying in bed. An inflatable positioning pad is used to further assist with the turning of a patient and/or with the shifting of a patient toward the head or the foot of the bed as needed. This device and method will allow turning to be done frequently, rapidly and safely, especially in pregnant patients with epidurals, that are overweight, or that otherwise have difficulty moving on their own.

Abstract: The Infinity Mop is a mop that uses a set length of rolled cleaning fabric material which is attached to one side of the mop head, then passes underneath the bottom of the mop surface area and onto the opposite side of the mop head. As the cleaning surface area of the cleaning material becomes dirty, the soiled area can be advanced manually or electronically to the back compartment of the mop, while the sheet of clean fabric material is advanced onto the bottom cleaning surface area of the mop at the same time. This process is repeated until the end of the pre-rolled cleaning sheet is used up and a new cleaning roll is inserted into the mop.

Abstract: There is a need to reduce raw materials used in the manufacturing of wet mops, to reduce the weight of the wet mop which will decrease user fatigue and related injuries and to address the difficulty of attaching standard wet mops to commonly used mop handles. The improvement is a tubular headband wet mop with yarn strands on only one side of the headband, reducing the amount of unused yarn incorporated into the wet mop while not reducing floor surface coverage area. The tubular headband also eliminates the possibility of exposing the bottom side of the mop handle which can damage or mar the floor surface, coatings and finishes. This reduction in raw materials results in a lighter product, which reduces effort required to lift and wring out the wet mop, and reduces fatigue and injuries associated with mopping.
