Abstract: A new and distinct ×Heucherella plant substantially as shown and described, characterized by lime green to yellow green leaves with red to dark brown marks on the main veins and a light white veil, large, shallowly lobed leaves, a medium large semi-trailing habit, and excellent vigor.
Abstract: A new and distinct ×Heucherella plant substantially as shown and described, characterized by gold leaves with reddish centers, reddish centers following the darker veins, a low dense trailing habit with good branching, medium size, ovate to orbicular leaves with shallow palmate lobing, and excellent vigor.
Abstract: A new and distinct Lavandula cultivar named ‘Voodoo’ is disclosed, characterized by a long, dark purple terminal bracts with a broad angle of attachment. The new variety can also be characterized its round plant shape and long peduncle length. The new variety is a Lavandula, normally produced as an outdoor garden or container plant.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for spectrophotometric in vivo monitoring of blood metabolites such as hemoglobin oxygen concentration at a plurality of different areas or regions on the same organ or test site on an ongoing basis, by applying a plurality of spectrophotometric sensors to a test subject at each of a corresponding plurality of testing sites and coupling each such sensor to a control and processing station, operating each of said sensors to spectrophotometrically irradiate a particular region within the test subject; detecting and receiving the light energy resulting from said spectrophotometric irradiation for each such region and conveying corresponding signals to said control and processing station, analyzing said conveyed signals to determine preselected blood metabolite data, and visually displaying the data so determined for each of a plurality of said areas or regions in a comparative manner.

Abstract: A reference control for cell by cell analysis on flow cytometric analyzers contains cellular analogs made of permeated blood cells containing therein aggregated intracellular proteins and preserved antigenic sites thereof, having cellular membrane permeable to antibodies and a suspension medium. The reference control is frozen after being prepared and thawed prior to use. The cellular analogs further contain a fluorescence marker therein. Further disclosed are a method of making the reference control and a method using the reference control, as an internal or stand-alone control, for measurements of cellular hemoglobin and cellular hemoglobin variant of a blood sample.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a head lamp. The head lamp includes a light source emitting light, a reflection plate reflecting the emitted light toward a lens, and a shield integrally formed with the reflection plate to intercept a portion of the light illuminated toward the lens. The head lamp can accurately adjust an illumination pattern of light through a reduction of assembly tolerance between components.
Abstract: A system method that adapts wireless link parameters for a wireless communication link. A measure is determined of errors signal quality occurring in communication over a wireless link. In a case that the measure of errors signal quality corresponds to more errors than a first predetermined threshold, communication changes from a first set of wireless link parameters to a second set of wireless link parameters. The second set of wireless link parameters corresponds to higher error tolerance than the first set of wireless link parameters. In a case that the measure of errors signal quality corresponds to fewer errors than a second predetermined threshold, communication changes from the first set of wireless link parameters to a third set of wireless link parameters. The third set of wireless link parameters corresponds to lower error tolerance than the first set of wireless link parameters.

Abstract: To provide an electrical junction box having a new structure that includes a plurality of electrical component mounting sections that are open in an upper surface, such that (1) the structure is provided with a drainage groove for preventing accumulation of water without requiring any special space, and (2) the structure can eliminate a problem of heat generation from electrical components. An electrical junction box includes a first and second electrical component mounting section units. A plurality of electrical component mounting sections are arranged in straight lines to from the first and second units, respectively. The first and second electrical component mounting segment units are separated apart from each other by a given distance and are arranged in parallel with each other. A heat radiation drainage groove is provided between opposed portions of peripheral walls that constitute the adjacent first and second units.
Abstract: A drawbar support assembly includes a rail member attached to a hitch frame, a slider member and a drawbar support. The slider member is slidable in the rail member. The drawbar support has rollers which rollingly engage the slider member so that the drawbar is swingable laterally. The rail member includes a forwardly facing curved slot which slidably receives the tabs which project from the slider member. A spring unit is coupled between the rail member and the slider member and operates to urge the slider member to a central position relative to the rail member.

Abstract: For controlling supply priorities, a hydraulic system includes several loads, a pump, and a tank. One load has a first-level supply priority, and optionally a second load has a second-level supply priority subordinate to the first level. A third load has a third-level supply priority subordinate to the second level. Each load can be connected to the pump by a separate supply line. The supply lines for the first and the optional second load are connected to the pump by a common load-pressure-controlled priority valve and the supply line for the third load is connected to the pump by an additional load-pressure-controlled priority valve. A first load-pressure line leading to the pump is connected to a load-pressure line of the third hydraulic load and to a second load-pressure line.
Abstract: A method includes defining a plurality of crop field boundaries such that an area of land falls within each of the plurality of field boundaries. The method further includes maintaining the plurality of crop field boundaries within the crop recordkeeping system, using a first of the crop field boundaries in performing a first function of the crop recordkeeping system executing on a computer, and using a second of the crop field boundaries in performing a second function of the crop recordkeeping system executing on the computer.
Abstract: An agricultural machine for working soil or for sowing seeds, including a trailed chassis and work elements distributed on a longitudinal bar in plural sections, the longitudinal bar including at least two primary beams extending substantially transversely to a direction of advance in a work configuration. A secondary beam is connected to each primary beam by two connection devices, the secondary beams support the work elements, and each secondary beam rests on the soil by two support wheels and is configured to move freely during work to follow a profile of the terrain.
