Abstract: A blog content search method and system are provided. The blog content search method may include receiving a search request. The search request may include a search term and a search time segment range. The method may include searching for an inverted data block of the search term from a database. Based on a timestamp skip list of the inverted data block and the search time segment range, the inverted data block may be skipped, and instead, another inverted data block may be identified that includes data that meets a condition of the search request. The identified inverted data block may be used for performing a merging. The search result may be obtained based on the result of the merging.

The method also includes receiving, from a user, a request for a piece of content from the content. The method also includes determining that the user from which the request was received belongs to the set of users associated with the first user. The method also includes, based upon the determination that the user belonged to the set of users associated with the first user, accessing information associated with the first rating group and determining whether the first rating group includes a rating for the requested piece of content.

Abstract: A device includes a memory for storing digital media, a transfer module, and a processor. The media includes first data that associates the media with the device, second data authorizing the device to play back the media, and third data authorizing the device to transfer a copy of the media. A transfer includes transfer data identifying the copy uniquely relative to the device. The processor implements instructions to receive a request to transfer a copy of the media to a peer device, create a copy of the media that includes the first data and the transfer data, and direct the transfer module to transfer the copy to the peer device and send a transaction record including the first data and the transfer data to a server.

Abstract: A system and method for dynamically retrieving, manipulating, updating, creating, and displaying data from sources of Extensible Markup Language (XML) documents. The program memory comprises system-user entered data definitions and business rules. The system imports XML document data into the system data definitions, processes the data using the business rules definitions and exports XML documents. The system can automatically create XML document formats from its data definitions and can automatically create its data definitions from XML document formats. The system-user can also define the mapping between XML document formats and the system data definitions. The system data definition is the combination of a Relational data model, an Object data model, and an XML data model.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for dynamically building a database query by combining a static query clause with a user-specified filter. A method commences upon receiving a user-specified query filter from a user interface, then reformatting the user-specified query filter from a first query filter representation (e.g., clicks or text from the user interface) into a second query filter representation (e.g., into XML or into a database connectivity format, or into an SQL format, or into any native format). Subsequent steps combine the second query filter representation with a predefined database query (e.g., from an enterprise application) to form a dynamically-generated database language query. The filter is specified at a user interface, and the predefined database query is specified by an application.

Abstract: This invention relates to query management. A query management method includes receiving a database query, generating an abstract syntax tree representation of the database path query into a set of java objects, and processing the abstract syntax tree representation of the database path query. The method further includes determining a selector upon processing the abstract syntax tree representation of the database path query and deriving a SELECT clause from the selector clause, where the SELECT clause indicates a portion of an expression from an XMeta Query Language (XMQL) query. The method yet further includes appending a FROM clause to the expression for the XMQL query, appending a WHERE clause to the expression for the XMQL query, and executing the expression for the XMQL query including the appended FROM clause and also the appended WHERE clause to access objects in an object repository.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to prevent interference between two physical tooth models in a physical dental arch model by acquiring the coordinates of a plurality of points on the surfaces of each of the two physical tooth models and digitally representing the surfaces of each of the two physical tooth models by a mesh of points in three dimensions using the acquired coordinates. The meshes representing the surfaces of the two physical tooth models intersect at least at one point to form an overlapping portion. The method also includes calculating the depth of the overlapping portion between the two meshes to quantify the interference of the two physical tooth models.

This may be done for one or more geometries using local and/or non-local couplings. For each application mode, physical quantities are modeled and may be defined using a graphical user interface. Physical properties may be used to model the physical quantities of each system. The physical properties may be defined in terms of numerical values or constants, and mathematical expressions that may include numerical values, space coordinates, time coordinates, and actual physical quantities. Physical quantities and any associated variables may apply to some or all of a geometric domain, and may also be disabled in other parts of a geometrical domain. Partial differential equations describe the physical quantities. One or more application modes may be combined using an automated technique into a combined system of partial differential equations as a multiphysics model.

Abstract: A method of modeling power consumption of an integrated circuit and an apparatus for supporting the same are provided. The method of modeling power consumption of an integrated circuit includes: grasping information about a clock gating enable signal of the integrated circuit; determining a modeling level using a change rate of the number of the clock enable signal; and extracting a power state according to the modeling level and the number of the clock gating enable signal and modeling power consumption in the power state. Thereby, because a power state can be defined with only the number of a clock gating enable signal, a dynamic power consumption amount can be quickly and accurately estimated.

Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure involve methods and systems for component placement in a datapath block of a microelectronic circuit design. In particular, implementations provide for collecting groups of common components in the datapath block that form a row or partial row. A preliminary layout of the datapath block is performed with the component set rows and any other components of the datapath block design. Common components are then collected into groups or sets to form additional rows within the datapath layout, with at least some consideration to the wire lengths between components in the rows. By collecting common components into rows with consideration to the wire lengths between interconnected components, the timing performance of the datapath block may be improved.

Abstract: A method of detailed placement for ICs is provided. The method receives an initial placement and iteratively builds sets of constraints for placement of different groups of cells in the IC design and uses a satisfiability solver to resolve placement violations. In some embodiments, the constraints include mathematical expressions that express timing requirements. The method in some embodiments converts the mathematical expressions into Boolean clauses and sends the clauses to a satisfiability solver that is only capable of solving Boolean clauses. In some embodiments, the method groups several cells in the user design and several sites on the IC fabric and uses the satisfiability solver to resolve all placement issues in the group. The satisfiability solver informs placer after each cell is moved to a different site. The method then dynamically builds more constraints based on the new cell placement and sends the constraints to the satisfiability solver.

Abstract: A system and method for routing a buffered interconnect in an IC from a source cell to a target cell thereof. In one embodiment, the system includes: (1) a path tracer operable to designate the source cell as a current node and construct a path toward the target node by: (1a) defining a boundary about the current node based on a buffer driving length, (1b) trimming the boundary by any blockage therein to yield a candidate area for placing a buffer, (1c) dividing the boundary into line segments, (1d) selecting a closest, valid one of the line segments to the target cell as the current node and (1e) repeating the defining, trimming, dividing and selecting the closest, valid one until the current node lies within the buffer driving length and (2) a buffer placer associated with the path tracer and operable to select a location along the path to place the buffer.

Abstract: This application discloses a computing system implementing tools and mechanisms that can incorporate a validation system into a circuit design. The validation system can be configured to monitor at least a portion of an electronic device described in the circuit design. The tools and mechanisms can identify one or more trace signals associated with the electronic device to route to the validation system, and identify one or more trigger signals associated with the electronic device to route to the validation system. The tools and mechanisms can configure the validation system to detect a conditional event corresponding a state of the one or more trigger signals, and to transmit the trace signals associated with the electronic device for debugging in response to the detected conditional event.

Abstract: This application discloses a computing system to identify an interconnection between portions of a circuit design corresponding to different power domains. The computing system can select a subset of power state tables in the circuit design based, at least in part, on power supplies associated with the interconnection, and generate a composite power state table from the selected subset of power state tables. The computing system can analyze the interconnection to identify electrical characteristics based, at least in part, on power states in the composite power state table, and determine whether a power intent specification in the circuit design can prompt synthesis of interface circuitry capable of implementing the electrical characteristics for the interconnection.

Abstract: A biological pathway is a series of actions that take place in an organism that lead to some resulting pathology or otherwise change the organism state. In the cell, these actions typically take place between molecules called proteins. Proteins within the cell interact in ways that are not fully understood, but evidence concerning these interactions is constantly being collected and published by microbiologists. The disclosed method automatically infers such biological pathways between proteins by looking at the overall system of published literature about those proteins.

Abstract: Systems and methods for searching conformation space of a polymer to determine a three-dimensional conformation of the polymer that satisfies a performance metric is provided. The polymer comprises a plurality of domains and at least a first hinge. Initial three-dimensional coordinates of the polymer are altered by pivoting the first domain with respect to the second domain about the first hinge thereby obtaining an altered set of three-dimensional coordinates for the polymer. In this altering, atoms within the first domain are held fixed with respect to each other and atoms within the second domain are also held fixed with respect to each other. The altered set of coordinates is scored against a performance metric. Additional instances of the altering and scoring are performed, if necessary, until the altered set of three-dimensional coordinates satisfy the performance metric.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for creating a custom registration guide. In general, the methods may include receiving scan data of a patient's bone; creating instructions based on the scan data for creating a three-dimensional surface model of the patient's bone; and moving a plurality of moveable elements, coupled to the adjustable model, based on the instructions. The method may further include the steps of placing a malleable registration guide onto the adjustable model and shaping the registration guide to fit to the adjustable model. The method may further include the step of intraoperatively determining the location of a patient's bone using the custom registration guide. The step of determining the location of the patient's bone may include the steps of coupling the registration guide and fiducial markers to the patient's bone.

Therefore, it enables a doctor or a pharmacist to write a prescription configured to have the lowest risk of causing side effects.

Abstract: Systems and methods assist in gathering relevant data in a doctor-patient encounter for obtaining a properly specified diagnosis code. In one embodiment, selectable data items which are provided as part of a medical charting program may be correlated with one or more standardized diagnosis codes (e.g. ICD-10 codes). Upon selection of the appropriate data items when charting a patient encounter, one or more diagnosis codes which are correlated with the selected data items may be flagged and/or generated for later use, such as for filing a claim submission as part of a billing process or to further enhance the clinical workflow of patient encounter documentation.

If the patient is participating in an eligible plan, the benefits administrator informs the service provider. The service provider submits a claim describing the services provided to the patient. The benefits administrator coordinates payment from the insurance provider to the service provider and sends a confirmation of the payment to the service provider. The benefits administrator may additionally provide an explanation of benefits in real time to the patient.

In various embodiments, medical device(s) are paired (integrated, tethered, or wirelessly coupled) with a user's portable computing device, such as a cell phone, so that the portable device receives locally made health data measurement(s) recorded by the medical device(s). After any pre-processing by the portable device, standard interfaces enable the health data measurement(s) to be transmitted, e.g., periodically, from the portable device to a health station server on a wireless communications network. The health station server may then analyze the health data measurement(s), e.g., versus historical and demographic data, so that the results of the analysis can be distributed to end users and service providers alike who make use of the communications network in a variety of ways.

Abstract: A computing device may compute the hospital admission risk of a patient as of a first risk calculation date after provision of one or more interventions for the patient. Each such intervention may be of a type that can readily be provided without bringing the patient to a hospital. According to one method, an input device may be used to receive first user input indicative of a first intervention performed for the patient. From a data store, a first risk factor corresponding to the first intervention, and a first time period over which the first risk factor is applicable, may be retrieved. At a processor, a first intervention date may be compared with the first risk calculation date to determine that the first risk calculation date is within the first time period. The first risk factor may be used to compute and display the hospital admission risk for the patient.
